+ -1 moreForget any preconceived notions about interior decorators. Before you update or remodel get her in for an evaluation. Susan is practical and skilled. She will teach you how to add value to your home and make it your space as well. After our experience I won't do another home without working with her. Save you (and you spouse) a lot of grief and money. She is a real find. Cost listed is per hour.
Description of Work: We bought a handyman special which we intended to live in forever. It needed updating in a big way! My husband and I had all kinds of ideas but between the two of us the budget was starting to soar. We'd seen what Susan had done for a friend's home. She looked at our house with an eye on the big picture. She advised us on structural ways to open-up the house, decide on colors (she is AMAZING with color) flooring style & overall color coordination. She created a dream kitchen. The house ended up being absolutely perfect AND we saved a ton of money. We ended up having to move and the look that she'd created enabled us to sell our home in a down market because it was neutral but very warm & inviting. During the entire process I'd call her with an "emergency decision" and she'd be there with a quick solution. She saved us a bundle and is worth every penny.
