No problems. On Budget and time

Contacted 4 companies for estimates. PJ came out and measured and gave a competitive estimate. The price included all the above labor and materials, with the exception of the cost of the cabinet hardware and the tilt out cabinet which we asked for after the guys were here installing the cabinets. We signed the contract putting 25% down. The contractors, Steve and Paul came out to measure and we bounced a few ideas off of them to help with the final design. There was a four week lead time from signing to delivery date. In the meantime, we picked out the granite at the granite yard. Kitchen solutions paid them directly. We also picked out and paid for cabinet hardware. The original cabinets were damaged in transit, so the install date was moved out another 3 weeks. A few weeks before install, countertop measurements were made. Because cabinets were delayed, Countertops were installed first. Sawed countertops down to one level, electrician came mad moved outlet and countertops installed in the afternoon. Everyone professional and efficient. The countertop guy was not happy with a seam (we did not notice any issue with the seam), so he came out on a Sunday afternoon for a few hours to buff the area to his satisfaction. The guy really takes pride in his work -- the countertops are beautiful. The cabinets arrived a few weeks later and took two days to install. We asked to add a tilt out drawer below the sink after the guys were already on site installing the cabinets. This was not a problem. The team was receptive to our tweaking throughout the process. Steve and Paul (and their colleague) were an absolute pleasure to work with.. They arrived on time and were responsive to our calls before and during installation. The cabinets/counters look beautiful.

Job started on 6/4/2013 and was finshed 7/3/13.? There were few delays during the renovation.? The initial visit by the kitchen designed, PJ Quagliette, was a one-stop process.? Using a computer program, he was able to show us the images of our renovated kitchen.? After receiving bids from other companies, we chose Kitchen Solutions based on price and the quality of the cabinets they used.? The work by Kitchen Solutions own workers and the various subcontractors was very good.? We have no major complaints with any of the work or products.? The cabinets are exactly what we wanted, the countertop exactly as envisioned, and the floor tile and backsplash tile are well coordinated with the rest of the kitchen.? Our only concerns we wish to point out is be sure everything is in writing.? We did not realize the kitchen would not be repainted after new drywall was installed.? Kitchen Solutions did eventually paint the exposed areas, but?? not until we demanded it.? Also, due to a misunderstanding, we thought the cabinet doors would have soft close as do the drawers, but it was not in the contract.? Contacted about kitchen refacing. When making the appointment I was asked for a time when both my husband and I could be present. He and I work an alternate schedule, so we only have Sundays off together and he isn't home until close to 7pm most nights. Saturdays he and I work alternate so we can't be there at the same time. They stated that we both must be there together or they weren't interested in our business. I'm sure they are perfectly good quality, but they made me feel like I alone was not worthy of their visit. My husband and I had spent time deciding what we want and were interested in a quote (remove old laminate cabinet faces, install real wood Shaker-style fronts and recondition the existing boxes, re-use old hardware and possibly talk about granite if it is in the budget constraints). We have already agreed on the style and color, so it wasn't necessary for both of us to be present. I could even make the purchase decision without him present. So, after the very unprofessional stance is taken, I am contacted again by the owner. He apologizes for the confusion and says he's willing to meet with me solo. I thank him and agree to schedule an appointment with a two hour window for my next day off. I decide to keep an open mind. What do they do... not show up. I feel very offended about the way this whole exchange occurred.

We thought that the estimate is OK. I thought their pricing was pretty good. I thought his presentation was pretty good because he talk about their history and the people we could contact if want ref that’s how long he had been in the business – people he work within town so I thought his presentation was pretty good. I thought he was a little car salesman like but it didn’t bother me as much as the Granite Transformations first. I thought price is pretty competitive, it was good. He is on time.

A++ Company!! My husband and I purchased an older home that needed a new kitchen. Kitchen Solutions had just completed a kitchen remodel for a friend of ours and they were very happy with the work Steve and Paul did for them. Steve and Paul arrived on time for our scheduled appointment and were a pleasure to work with! They listened to our list of wants and anticipated our needs. They were extremely knowledgeable and suggested things we would have never thought of on our own. The design they came up with exceeded all of our expectations. The installation was completed within the time frame and budget quoted and they always left the work site clean and safe at the end of each day. Thank you Steve and Paul for making our dream kitchen a reality, we will be enjoying it for years to come!
