Description of Work: Johnson Landscape Lighting installed outside accent lighting at our home approximately twelve years ago. They installed front lighting for walkway safety as well as to accent and enhance our home's "curb appeal", etc. A second circuit of accent lighting was installed at the rear of our home around the pool - both for safety and "looks". Both front and rear lighting have worked nearly flawlessly throughout the years with only infrequent service calls being required. When service was needed Johnson invariably responded rapidly and professionally. To illustrate, recent health issues have necessitated that we temporarily use a lawn service company to cut the lawn, trim the shrubbery, etc. Despite being shown the lighting fixtures when engaged, an employee of that company within a few weeks managed to completely sever the wiring to several of the light units while using a gas string trimmer. This shorted out the entire rear lighting circuit - even those that the wiring remained uncut would not light. The lawn service company attempted to repair their damage but were unsuccessful. Johnson Lighting was called mid morning on Monday - by Tuesday noon, an employee of Johnson knocked on the door and confirmed the issue.In less than thirty minutes the technician had repaired the several "cuts", checked all the other rear light fixtures, reset the control unit and ensured all the fixtures lit properly. This updates a prior review of this business and illustrates the continued effective service they have demonstrated through the years.

When done you would not know they were there except for the lighting that accents all of the features of my house. Pricing was fair considering the amount of work and quality of materials. Highly recommend.

Chris Johnson and his crew actually originally installed the lighting several years ago and we have continued the annual maintenance plan that Johnson Lighting offers. From the design, installation and continued maintenance, this firm "does it right".Yes, they are somewhat more expensive than others who still install the old fashioned "flood light" type lighting that consumes a lot more electricity. You will like the final look once it is completed and the annual maintenance keeps everything working (and looking) the way it should. Chris takes the time to locate all underground utilities (phone, cable, electricity, water, sprinkler lines) and "chalks them out before starting. All wiring is installed and buried in hand dug trenches. Chris will accommodate all suggestions requests but will advise you if a request might later prove to be a bad choice.When a bulb does (rarely) burn out, just give Chris a call and they will be out to replace it for you, usually the next day.We had one fixture that had deteriorated this year (it was, however, still lighting) and they replaced it at their initiative with a new one during the annual inspection in May. Responsiveness and professionalism are indeed part of their stock in trade.

+ 1 moreThe owner Chris Johnson and his team arrived on time and professionally installed the lights as planned. Everything was done by hand so the landscape looked untouched when they left. LED is definitely the way to go. The lights are much brighter than my old halogen lights and they consume less electricity. Overall, the new lights look even better than expected and the house really stands out at night. Excellent advice and installation.
Description of Work: Installed Kichler LED landscape lighting in front and back yards. Also, installed stainless steel Kichler transformer with lifetime warranty. Total job involed 18 LED light fixtures.
