It went great, the crew was super friendly but still very professional, and they made sure we were happy with everything before they left.

It went just fine. Took about two and a half weeks to complete the job. All work done in a good and workman like manner. Carpenters were very personable and professional. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they would at the agreed price.

Beautiful Job!! Looks like a brand new cabinet. The sink a new faucet was installed beautifully. There work is amazing!!

Chad and all his guys did a great job from start to finish! No delays at all. Framing, drywall, texture and paint. Also had crown moulding installed. Will definitely use again.

It went great . I'm an award winning designer, so I have worked with many contractors. The team at One of a kind Carpenter is the best. They were timely, polite, and left the work area clean. What more could you ask for!! Here we are several years later and I'm still proud of these bathrooms. They had to remove suspended ceilings and redo lighting , exhaust fans and AC ducts. also replaced all fixtures , toilets, sinks faucets, tub and showers . Installed shower doors and even replaced tile on one shower floor at no cost. Fantastic tile work.

I had an insurance claim and was paid by the insurance co. But as a senior it's hard to trust service providers because we get taken advantage of often. I found One Of A Kind Carpenter on Angie's List and gave them a call. Dale was responsive and caring, she asked all the right questions to inquire about my project. My first impression was very good! She sent Chad over to give a look see in order to get me an estimate. Until recently I did not have email, so they agreed to start the job and I could sign the estimate on the day they started, that was convenient. As far as the price, it was so much lower than I had been quoted before. Dale was open and tried to help me understand that I could have been a victim of a bad vendor. The work was done to perfection, they cleaned up and I am feeling hopeful that I have found a company that I can trust. They could have taken advantage because I told them how much the insurance co. gave me but they saved me almost $2000.00. This company went above and beyond to help me. Thank you Dale and Chad!!

He showed up and went through the house and said he would give a quote on either Tuesday or Wednesday... Wednesday came and didn't hear from him, so I sent him a text message and left a voicemail and still haven't heard back from him after a week. My contingency deadline past without receiving a quote.

Our carpenter (Herb) really took pride in his work and it definitely showed. We were so happy with his work and with One of A Kind Carpenter, Inc. overall. They are so professional and punctual. Thank you all so much!!

Chad came for the initial appointment exactly on time, and understood exactly what we wanted. He made some suggestions which we incorporated. We had a written estimate by email within a couple of hours. Due to an issue with their previous client, they were unable to start on Monday as planned. I was a bit miffed I didn't find this out until Friday evening, but they were very apologetic. I now understand how some jobs run over due to the homeowner adding/changing the scope of projects. They did, however, come on Friday and a couple of hours Saturday morning and performed the work in the bedroom/bath area. which actually worked out much better for us. without work going on in two parts of the house! The following Monday came and Chad showed up exactly on time. He spent over 3 hours creating protective barriers over doors/windows/kitchen appliances/counter/floors, etc. His crew of two showed up and they had the ceiling/lights removed in short order and by the end of a very long day for them, the popcorn was a thing of the past.. The entire process went quickly and actually finished in less time and money than expected, and with minimum mess once they'd removed all the protective stuff!! Chad is very focused and makes sure everything is done to perfection. He surprised me when he first showed up...he's a tall, pony-tailed body builder with a beautiful tattoo on his arm....I had expected a "bubba" , pop-bellied guy! He really knows what he's doing and sees the whole picture even when you don't/ His crew is dedicated and experienced, and very personable. The company really cares that the work is done correctly and you have a good experience at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend them, or hire them again. In fact, I asked for a hand full of their cards for neighbors who are planning projects, and sent the link to their website to several other neighbors. Thank you Chad et al!!!

Overall, pretty good. We paid for the "handyman for a day" special. They replaced the fascia boards without tearing out any of the soffit and shingling, as I had hoped. The quality of the work was average, I felt they could have paid better attention to detail. After the work was completed I noticed there were gaps in the paint, gaps in the tar-seal where the fascia met the shingles (which would have allowed water to leak inside my roof), and my drip edges were pretty beaten up. They did also re-tar my ridge vent nails while they were on site at no extra cost.

I purchased 40 hours for $2000. The installation took 48 hours. I was advised by the company that an extra person was needed to do the installation in the time frame I wanted it done. There were 2 workers at my residence for 5 days. One of the workers showed up early every day and stayed a few minutes past his time to make sure the proper clean up was done. We needed an extra day of service with 1 person. We constantly had to negotiate and I was not happy I had to pay the price of the extra hours. At the completion of the job the floors looked great. I'm not happy about the price but they did a great job with the final product. I am happy with my floors.

I had never attempted a project this big since my husband passed away so I was very nervous about being taken advantage of and end ing up with inferior work. However, from the first contact with Dale and then the subsequent quote from Chad, I knew I was in great hands. The team of techs were so very professional, prompt and accommodating. They protected my home by containing the area to be worked on, and everyday day left the work site neat as a pin.They kept me in the loop and gave me great advice as the project proceeded. Chad even called me several times when I was at the tile store to make sure I was ok and helped me end up with the perfect product for the job.(There were soooo many decisions to be made but Chad helped me stay focused and was always thinking three steps ahead for me to avoid making a design mistake.) I am extremely delighted with the results I received and I believe I paid a fair price I i will DEFINITELY use this company again when I remodel my other bath next summer. Cannot say enough good things about this honest and professional company.

They responded right away when contacted and were able to accomodate our tight timeline. The price came in a little over what was quoted but they were able to reproduce the fireplace we wanted from a photograph. We love it.

He came out with his wife to see the projects I needed done, which made me feel more comfortable. He gave me the name of the man who would come out, so that when the handyman came out I knew who he was. I loved the whole process, and they showed me the things before they did them. I will definitely use them again. They did excellent work and were well worth the money.

Chad and his helper arrived promptly and immediately began working. They did an excellent and a very professional job in repairing the wood area we agreed upon, and did so in a timely manner. I was very pleased with the work and the delicate care they took in making the repair, as it involved working around the glass transom at the side of the Front Entrance door....

It was okay. I don't think I will go back to them.

Where do I begin? We found One of a Kind from Angie’s list. We purchased a home in need of wood rot repair. This purchase was not your typical purchase in that we were using a mortgage program that ensures that contractors hired are licensed and insured contractors. That was the easy part. Not only did ask Dale to fax in proof of insurance, license, and W9 forms, but there were other documents from our mortgage program that One of a Kind had to sign and submit. Normally, you call a contractor, get an estimate and start the work. With us, we needed them to register online and complete multiple forms to sign and fax. Needless to say, this takes time out of their busy schedule. I’m sure this process was quite annoying, but One of a Kind never seemed aggravated with us. You got a sense that even though our job wasn’t the most expensive, they truly made us feel as though our job was equally as important as a more expensive bid. They did as we asked without complaint. On the day of the job, Chad and his team were at the property before the time promised. His team worked diligently and non-stop. The work is beautiful and the attention to detail is apparent. We look forward to working with Chad, Dale and One of a Kind in the future. And we will.

Bad. The only thing they really did well was they were punctual. The price was average, the quality was bad. They did the bedroom walls and tile floor very well, but they cause damage in the bathroom as well as a window that no longer works. The cabinetry and mirror installation was done poorly as well. The would routinely ignore questions I would ask. There was poor communication. The owner of the company, when I asked questions, would lie to my face. He was also somewhat intimidating. The equipment that I had paid for, they ended up taking with them after the job was complete. If I had not paid attention, I would not have been credited back this portion of my bill. They also purchased excess materials that are still sitting on my property.

Chad A. Rumanicik was very professional. His workers were on time, clean and also very professional. I highly recommend and will hire again.

It went extremely well! He showed up early, he exercised patience and was very professional in his opinion. A very honest and trustworthy man! I definitely plan to work with him in the near future.

From start to finish, flawless!

We called several contractors/handymen to obtain their recommend fix, their pricing and to get timing when they would be available to complete the job. One of a Kind Carpenter Inc. came out the same day and had an extremely competitive price. My daughter agreed to their proposal and they came back that same day and completed the job. The work was completed professionally (couldn’t even tell there was a seam once painted) and the clean-up was thorough. We’ll definitely use them again for future work.

I checked Angie's List and decided to go with this Company. I called them and right off the bat I realized I hd the right company. The President of the Company came out and went over the work I wanted done. He spent the time to explain all the details I should know, what he was going to do, etc. The next day his office sent me an email with the detailed bid and said they would wait for my reply after I reviewed it. Once I accepted the bid, a team was sent out to my house along with the President. He gave his workers all the details and their jobs and remained until he fitted the French door jam and aligned the door. He departed to let them finish the job and advise me once they were done they would let me inspect the work and insure I was pleased and if I wanted anything adjusted to advise them. They were just about finished and just had some adjustments and trim work to do when the good old Florida rain came done and stopped the job. I was advised the office would call me and let me know when they would be back again. They arrived the next day early, finished the job, had me check it out and once they got ready to depart they insured the area was clean and all the debris was removed. Very professional in all their actions. I have been in Florida in this same area since 1985, and this is honestly the first time I can say I had professionals doing a project for me! The price was fair,the workers were professional and the management was outstanding.
