Description of Work: Bi-weekly lawn maintenance and a few special clean up and trimming.

Description of Work: I used Worker Man for several projects both at my home and at an investment property. Two jobs were never finished as was promised. They had put drywall up in a kitchen I was remodeling and said everything was done except for finishing up a little ares of paint which we were waiting for cabinets to be installed. I was told there would be no additional charge. They installed a closet in my hallway. They did not sand down the wall and left clumps of paint on the wall and I was told they would fix that mess gratis. When Charles, the owner, came back to my home, he said the hourly rate of one person at $55 per hour would be applied. I reminded him of the earlier conversation that fixing the mess at the closet area and the little bit of painting was to be gratis as they had not corrected it or finished. He denied this. Now onto the investment ptoperty. Approximate 1000 sf townhome that needed repainted. Several days in, I questioned him as to why it was taking so long and why two coats since the paint he recommended from Home Depot is guaranteed to cover in one coat. He said no worries we should be about at $1200 to $1400. That seemed fair as they were never there working all day for one reason or another. Well two days go by and they finish and Charles emails me an invoice for $3, 789. 45. I asked him how that happened as two days before we were at $1200. AND they Were NOT there for all those additional hours. My point is this, do not hire them by the hour rate. Get a contracted price do there are not thousands of dollars added.on. and make sure you are on site when they are working. I also hired them to remove bamboo in the backyard. They cut down stalks, but did not dig them out properly which is what they were hired to do. Also, hired them to remove some plants/hedges...they have all grown back. Again...I restate...get a contracted price. And make sure they do not leave until everything is perfect. Several times Charles asked for a check right away without emailing me an invoice so "he could make payroll." BEWARE!!! I will never use them again for anything, not even lawn maintenance! !

Description of Work: Mowed and trimmed grass, and trimmed bushes. It went well. Whatever we have asked them to do, it has been done timely and well.

Description of Work: The Worker Man provides lawn mowing, trimming, leaf blowing and spot weeding for our lawn in Saint Augustine. As of today they have come three times and have done a great job. The are punctual, professional, thorough and pleasant. There are other lawn services in the area that charge less money per time (The Worker Man charges $35.00 per person per hour for two guys for roughly two hours - ours is a big job) but the quality and professionalism make it well worth it. Joey and Sam (the guys that actually come each week) are also very adaptable. We have a very nice 25" reel mower for our Zoysia grass lawn and had asked that they use that instead of the big commercial rotary mowers. They were happy to accomodate us. I have nothing but good things to say about the Worker Man's work. Our lawn looks like a golf course!
