TAYLOR TREE SVC

I gave a glowing review of Taylor Tree Service a year ago. I tried to use them again, but they're extremely difficult to contact. I finally got an appt in early October for an estimate for myself and 2 other neighbors, so it would have been a good job for them. We never heard back from Taylor. I called and called, but only was able to leave voice messages, and then their mailbox was full. About a week before Thanksgiving, I called one more time, and reached the owner who apologized and said he'd been out of town for work and things fell through the cracks. He'd get the info on work and would provide estimates that evening or the next day. He never called back, and I tried a few more times and left messages. I don't know what's happened to Taylor Tree Service, but I NO longer recommend them. They must have gone out of business because they won't return phone calls or provide estimates. I noticed that all of their equipment is gone from its storage area on Hwy 1.

Taylor Tree Service was contacted to perform tree trimming and small tree removal in our yard. They were recommended by a local arborist who knew that they would trim trees correctly for the health of the tree versus companies who tend to over cut a tree. I am very pleased with Taylor Tree Service from time of contact to finished project. I called their office late in the afternoon and left a message, and was called back the next morning by Larry Hammack, certified arborist, who works with Taylor Tree Service. I described in detail - over the phone - the trees to be addressed in my yard, and Larry went to our home for an estimate. He emailed his proposal with description of the work to be done, associated costs, AND photos of each tree or tree group to be trimmed, including a photo of the front of our home. It was well done! I completed my review of estimates and chose Taylor Tree Service because their estimate was in the middle cost-wise, but I also felt assured that they would take care of my trees and surrounding landscape with great care. And, they did just that! I have several live oaks on my property and they trimmed 6 away from the house and walkway areas, and one tree required some rope climbing. The rest of the trees, they were able to handle with pole saw and chain saw trimming. I also had 3 small scrub oaks removed down to the stump (trees were about 5and quot; DIA near lower trunk). During the job, Larry Hammack, arborist, was there all the time to review the project and walk the landscape prior to cutting, as well as to provide input to the main tree cutting operator, Jeremy, on which limbs to remove during the job. They brought their big truck with a chipper, and a third man on the job pulled all of the cut limbs, etc, and took them to the chipper, and followed behind each section with a rake to pick-up and remove any debris. And, at the end of the project, he went over the entire yard with a leaf blower to get all of those leaf bits removed. They did a wonderful job cleaning up throughout the project. Larry was also able to provide input on other trees in the yard for their care and health. I am so pleased with their care during their entire project and the final results that I will use them in the future for the continued up-keep and trimming of my trees. They also performed work for my next door neighbor since they were here, and they were extremely pleased, too, with the professional work performed. And, my neighbors have also discussed more work for Larry and his team at Taylor Tree Service. I highly recommend Larry Hammack and Taylor Tree Service.
