We really appreciate having a dependable service like St. Augustine Electric Motor Works, when there is water leaking and all the towels are wet from soaping it up, it is important to know real help is coming.

+ -1 moreThey have been absolute awesome. It was more electrical work. I brought the pump into them and they took it in right away and went to work on it. They did it right away. They were very nice and explained everything. I would use them again.
Description of Work: I had to replace the well pump. The rebuilt the pump and gave me all of the parts to install it. They actually fixed my motor that had been destroyed during the hurricane.

+ 0 moreHe was here and gone within 30 minutes and saved me a bundle over buying a new pump. He even gave me a lesson on maintenance which the previous pump guy never did.
Description of Work: My irrigation pump stopped working during the hottest, driest part of the summer. I called St. Aug Electric Motor works at 9 am. They said i would get a call back within two days. Three hours later I got a call and the repair man was here within an hour. I thought I would have to spent 300 to 400 dollars to replace the pump. The problem was only a $15 capacitor. The repair man asked me jokingloy, "Do you want to buy the $15 part or a new pump for $360". He was fast, knowledgeable and courteous. He reprimed and adjusted my pump pressure tank before he left.

Description of Work: We recently purchased a home with an inoperable well pump. I disconnected the pump and took it in to have it evaluated. They were prompt and charged a fair price for their services. Since the pump had to be replaced they gave me the option (without any pressure) to either pay the service fee or have it credited to the purchase of a new pump. Since their prices on new pumps were very competitive, I elected to buy a new pump from them. During the entire process they were very helpful answering all my questions completely.

+ 0 moreThey were very good. Their work saved me having to buy a new pump. They were considerably cheaper than having a new pump put in. It was probably half the price. I took it down there, and it saved me money to deliver it myself to them. They told me that right upfront. It helped even find that out because I wouldn’t have thought to ask. My husband put it back on after I brought it back. It didn’t come out right, so they took several calls for me on the phone and talked me through things. They were really helpful about talking me through what to check and look for to get it working right.
Description of Work: St Augustine Electric Motor Works came out a month ago and redid the bearings redone on our well pump. It was a screening. The pump was making loud noises every time it came on, so the bearings were bad.
