I just don't even know where to start! Jeff and his crew came in and took over my house.....this is a very good thing! There were guys everywhere. They took their time to properly prep every surface. I worked in the field for a construction company for six years inspecting the work of the subs and if Jeff had been on the job I probably wouldn't have been needed during the painting phase. Jeff was supervising his guys and making sure everything was perfect. He had them fix things that were not even in the bid. If he wasn't satisfied with something, he had them do it again. (If only my tile crew was so diligent). They were always here when they said they would be, they cleaned up after themselves daily, we so polite that I started thinking my given name was "Maam". I felt so comfortable with Jeff and his crew that I didn't think twice about leaving them in my home to go run errands. If I was carrying a box, one of the guys would jump over and take it from me asking where I wanted it taken. Jeff even got rid of a hornets nest that he could hear from the inside and sealed the flashing back up. So you must be thinking I'm quite a hottie to get so much attention!!! If 56 year old, over weight, barely bothers with make-up, etc, is a hottie, then you would be right! No, Jeff and his crew are just ultra customer service oriented. The price was the price he quoted....no extras, no surprises. The only surprise was that there is still a company in this day and age that takes so much pride in their work and have such a ethical business sense. You will not be sorry if you hire Jeff Sowers Painting, but I'm pretty sure you will be if you don't. I'm going to miss them. : )

NO Show- waited 2hrs by a gate to let him in to our devolvement to do an estimate however he never showed. Made the appointment on 7/28/14 then called the day before just to confirm. We only have time of about 3hrs on some Saturdays between tenants to get estimates which just makes it more frustrating to have someone not show up. Thank goodness we didn't do one of his Angies List pre paid coupon deals .

Jeff and crew were professional, prompt, cleaned up after themselves and went above and beyond the Big Deal I purchased. They repaired several areas in bathrooms that had been remodeled. Their work was exceptional and I would absolutely call them again if the need arose. Thanks Jeff!

Jeff and his worker did a fantastic job paiting 3 10x10 bedrooms for me. They were very punctual and was in constant communcation with me as to a completion time. Highly recommed his services.

We were thoroughly impressed with Jeff and his crew of painters-true craftsman. They were prompt, professional, organized and detailed orientated. The service and quality of work was excellent! Mr. Sowers and his crew were punctual, efficient, and completely professional. They repaired some drywall problems in some really awkward to reach places. They covered everything that could get dusty from the inevitable sanding and were careful to clean up completely before they left. They did first class work and I'll be calling them again if I need painting or drywall work. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Jeff was very nice and did a great job. Our job was very small but he showed up on a Sunday to accomadate our schedule and was done by noon. Would use him again for sure!

Painting By Jeff Sowers did a good job. They did some wood work and some exterior painting and some wood repair. They showed up when they told they would, returned their calls. They did just kind of basics, but not everybody does the basics.

Nice guy, did a nice job, would have again and are planning to.

I live in St. Augustine and had a shutter that fell off which had old parts that were no longer easy to get. Jeff called and said he had already ordered them online. It took awhile for him to come back but when he did, his work was excellent and I was very happy with the quality of the painting on the shutters and my door as well as the repair. He did not change his quote which I appreciated and I would definitely recommend him.

I had a positive experience with Jeff's work and would not hesitate to hire him again. Side note...some how Angie's list doesn't have my correct address listed. It is actually 545 Oakridge Trail, St. Augustine, FL 32092. I shall work to correct the wrong address after I submit my review.

Everything was excellent. Not only did Jeff assist with rearraging the room so he could paint, but his quality is just incredible. If there was something that I didn't feel good about he worked to make it right. He was timely, polite, pleasant, efficient, and he knew what he was doing.

Jeff is a fantastic painter. He is truly a talented craftsman that, took our house from looking very "lived in", to model show ready. We got a contract on the house in ONE day. Buyers cited how NEW the house looked inside, and how WELL we'd taken care of things. We owe this ALL to Jeff. He's old school, taking as much time for his prep work as he does care and precision for his painting. He repaired MANY drywall issues (even some caused by other contractors for no extra charge) painted entire rooms (fixing screw ups from the original painters) painted all of our trim and base boards, painted exterior doors, and when I thought he'd had enough of my very very picky ways, he STILL gave me a very FAIR price for a very big garage door project that involved hours of prep, and two LARGE garage doors. He is a professional, and as mentioned, he is a true craftsman! I am VERY VERY picky, so Jeff is the only one I've EVER written positive comments about on here. YOU WILL NOT FIND a better painter at a better price than Painting By Jeff Sowers.
