They did a great job. Put the plastic barrier on under the shingles and saved us a lot on our home insurance. They filled out the proper paperwork for the insurance company so it was easy to get the credit. The roof looks great and we had no problems.

Nick came at the appointed time, surveyed the roof for possible damage and found none. Since I wasn't sure if the ceiling spot was new or just old and never noticed, Nick suggested I just watch for fresh spotting and report back to the company. He said the roof looked good upon his inspection. He was very polite and did not charge for his inspection.

Had an appointment for an estimate recently. I took the afternoon off of work so that I could be at home when they came out, which personally cost me $200 in lost wages. An hour past the appointment time I was contacted and asked if I could reschedule for the following week which would cost me more $$ in personal lost wages in order to take off work. The gentlemen that called was apologetic but he should have offered to come out the same day even though it was later than the original scheduled time, rather than ask me to take more time off work. If he couldn't make it out the company should have offered to send another rep. Very frustrating.

Austin at Neligan was great. He provided us with a competitive estimate and was very professional. During the work a storm added some disrepair to the roof and they did the additional repairs at no additional charge. The showed up on time and never left without cleaning their mess which was greatly appreciated.

Excellent! Brian Neligan is a true professional. He responded immediately to our initial call, and met with us the following day. After inspecting the roof and discussing the issues we were experiencing with the existing gutters, he educated us on the various types of shingles and gutters available, and the respective warranties that were available. He also told us that the job would take 1 week to complete. We have a large home, and knowing that the old roof and gutters had to be removed and then replaced, I was skeptical that the job could be done that quickly. We live in a gated community, and all debris has to be removed from the site on a daily basis... this too concerned us, but Brian assured us that this would not be a problem. As promised, the job was completed in one week and the job site was 100% cleaned on a daily basis. Large magnets were also used to ensure that all of the roofing nails were collected and discarded. We could not be more satisfied with the job Neligan Construction & Roofing provided. We would recommend Brian and his company with no hesitation.

Excellent job. I left a phone message for Brian and he was out the next day to provide an estimate. Since I'm on year 20 of a 25 year shingle roof, I was concerned that the roof leak would turn out to be a big job. Fortunately for me, it turned out to be a smaller repair and not a roof replacement! My job was scheduled right away. The roofer, Lee, called ahead on the morning of the repair. He arrived right on time, worked quickly and efficiently all day to complete the job - even though the section of rotted decking was much larger than originally estimated. And, in addition to cleaning leaves off the roof, he went ahead and washed all four skylights (2 4'x4' and 2 2'x4') for me. Not part of the estimate, but producing a quality, professional job. I don't take note of my roof very often, but viewing the trees through those clean skylights is a daily pleasure. Reminds me of a job well done Thank you, Lee!

Quickly came out for the estimate and made a reasonable offer. Came out to do the work and realized that we needed a different material. Rescheduled and got the work done in a prompt manner. Head carpenter was excellent.

After requesting an estimate through Angies lis I recieved a prompt response from the company asking for contact information for an estimate. Sales manager Mike came out on time assesed the project and provided an estimate of cost. I accepted. Mike said they were booked several weeks out but there could be an opening before that. Within a week I was contacted by the project manager to start the repair, Lee would be the lead worker. Lee showed up on time, soon followed by the person who would make a custom chimney cap to replace our faulty one.Roofing material was torn off, rotten wood was removed and all was repaired. The new shingles even matched the existing roof. A new chimney cap was fabricated on site and installed. The stucco on the chimney was caulked with water proof sealant.All construction debris was cleaned up and taken away. Lee and his partner performed all work professionaly and were very courteous. Thanks to them and all Neligan staff that worked with me. It hasn't rained yet but from everything I have seen I have confidence that our house is now protected from further leak damage.

I sent a signed contract to them on November 24th in order to make the appointment. By December 7th I contacted them because I still had not heard from anyone about an appointment. A few days later we set up an appointment - they do not show up at the appointment time so I call and they said they can't make it. We waited a month until our roof was finally fixed. If it was not for their pricing, I would have called someone else for the job. It was not an urgent leak - it only happened when we had extreme rain, so I was able to wait this long for the service whereas some people may not have been able to. It seems as though the leak as been fixed - so they did a good job - I just wish it wasn't so hard to get someone out here to begin with!

Took bids from several providers. Brian provided photos of damage to roof with a thorough description of the work to be done.. He carefully explained all that needed to be done and provided options for every step of the work. After we made our selections, his crew began the work and removed all trash and nails daily. The roof replacement work was completed within two days. It took another day and another laborer to finish the chimney repair and paint it. Very pleased with the prompt and professional work done. Recommended his company to other neighbors.

In the past several years, we had Neligan do some gutter repair work and wood fence gate replacing and installation, which we were very satisfied with. One job was for less than $200 and the second for less than $500. It was good to have someone locally that you could rely on. However, when I was given the estimate for this year's small odd jobs, I was informed that they will not tackle any job for less than $350. Even though I cut my list back to 2 relatively small jobs, it was still then $350, down from initial $600 estimate. It was explained that this minimum surcharge for work is due to their overhead and time getting parts and material. Not sure how many material trips were planned for these jobs. So, for Members here, please note they have a $350 minimum charge, no matter the size of the project. Although I have seen members here with recent projects under $350. Further, I was advised by their estimator to hire a hourly handyman, when you need small jobs done around the house. Neligan no longer does small projects, unless you want to overpay. Keep them handy though for major repairs or construction work.

Everyone was great, I was stressed which is case when roof is leaking, they were confident in correcting the problem. They did great job. I am elated that it is done.

Neligan Construction is excellent - from the time they first arrived to give me a quote to returning and installing the finished product, their employee who did the work, Nick from Neligan's, was very personable and most professional. He did an outstanding job!

I first requested if the contractor could do the job in 30 days. I was informed by the owner that because permits were required and engineering company had to be involved that it was not possible to complete in 30ay. Phase one: The crew came and deconstructed the affected areas. I needed a new beam, several sheets of plywood and cedar siding Deconstruction went smoothly. Phase two: reconstruction was sporatic partly because of weather. The company did not have or could not obtain shingles that matched my house. Luckily I had enough shingles to complete the job. Several rotten siding boards were discovered once power washing proceded. They did not have the proper power washing wands and wound up using mine ,which were longer. Phase three: The gutter guy came out and replaced several gutters and did a GREAT job. He had to come back one time once it rained and I could see that one gutter was not diverting the water properly. He was very quick and professional. Phase four: Siding was replaced, no caulking was done no nail holes were covered, this process was sporatic as well. Phase five: Painting began. By this time we are 60 days into this project ( more than 30 days AFTER permits were obtained). The painting was fair, no cracks were caulked, no nail holes caulked. Several spots missed. They were call back out a couple of times but made the job only marginally better. Phase FIVE: I was contacted by Nelligan construction about payment even though there were STILL can lights hanging from my front poarch ceiling. Once I informed them of that a crew was dispatched that day to reinstall them. My wife and I sent them a check for FULL amount and my wife send the owner an Email expressing her displeasure with the job along with pictures of subpar areas. She has not received a response and it's been 2 weeks.

Professional work product and explanations. Advised against installing gutters that would have (unbeknownst to me) violated my roof warranty. Excellent work and good price on the installed gutters.

Great service! The price was fair and they were very personable. I had a leak over my garage and they fixed it and discovered some other issues (design flaws of the house). Very good service, will definitely hire them again. Lee did an outstanding job

Since it was done the first week of December, it was a little chilly and the crew showed up a day late due to not being able to complete the job before me. They were very professional and worked diligently and still completed within the time frame. Had the unfortunate of failing the first inspection due to an error but they quickly corrected and it passed within the next two days. Whenever we called with questions, Brian was always there to answer. They never needed any money up front which was a big plus for me because it shows they are a very financially stable company and they warranty their work. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

They were here last year around June or July. That's why I'm giving them a B, the work was not that great to warrant that great big amount, simple work to me was $350 and I paid $350. All they did was check to see that there was nothing serious at this time. The quality of service was good. They were responsive and on time. They were professional. The pricing could be more competitive for smaller jobs.

Had these guys install a new roof a few years back. Initially there was a leak by my chimney flashing...Brian sent his guys out to fix it, which they did, but the new shingles didn't match very well. The crew said "Oh just give it time, then you won't be able to tell the difference." But three years later you could still plainly see the difference. I took photos, sent them to Brian Nelligan and he immediately agreed to come back out and replace them--three years later!. I even offered to pay the cost, but he took care of it and never sent a bill. Quality, professional outfit here.
