Overall I had a very good experience with Neligan Construction, even though I felt the estimate was a little high I can tell you, you do get what you pay for with Neligan. From the estimate to the no trace they were ever there clean up, the two man team completed the job quickly, courtesy, with added detail to the repair that I never expected. My laundry list of honey do's just got reassigned and I get to keep all my fingers.

The clean up after putting up the roof was good. One of the nails put a flat tire on my car and they replaced the tire for me.

They were very courteous and professional, and the work was completed promptly. I would definitely use them again.

After roofer finished job the company sub contracted sheetrock repair and painting. When the subcontractor origianally called, the roof had not been fixed. Sub contractor stated that they would call back once they were notified that roof was done. Did not hear from company for about 3 months. Company called due to outstanding bill and was informed that the inside work had not been completed. Customer was informed that office staff member had been in car accident and things got way behind. Sub contractor came and did the inside work. Bill was paid. Last week, heavy rain, ceiling leaking again.

I initially asked Neligan to inspect our roof and give us an estimate because of their good reviews. The estimate technician who came out to our home was very knowledgeable and professional. He did a very thorough inspection of the roof and came up with a list of recommended repairs for our 12 year old roof. His estimate was about $200 higher than what I would estimate I would pay another contractor who has done work for me on other properties. I selected Neligan because I believed they would do higher quality work on our personal residence. Office personnel I dealt with on the phone were very efficient; they are customer-focused. The roofer who arrived used a ladder that was designed NOT to touch our gutters - a big plus in my view. It took him several hours to do the work. When he was finished, the work appeared to be done properly. Replacing the vents also included replacing several shingles around each. From ground level, you cannot tell where the old shingles stop and the new ones start. Several days later, a roof cleaning contractor, whom I trust, cleaned the fungus off our roof and did a thorough inspection of the repairs. In his opinion, the workmanship was first class. I am completely satisfied with Neligan roofing. I gave them a B in professionalism only because the roofer unwrapped the new vent covers in front of our house and left the very small amount of clear plastic on our lawn. Not a big deal in my view, but to be fair, I believe it should be pointed out. I would recommend Neligan to anyone who wants quality roof repairs done right. You may be able to find someone cheaper, but I don't know if you'll get equal. much less better quality. By the way, we got a 10% Angies List discount.

The Project Manager, William Lucas responded and told me the repairs were minor. I told Lucas that I would handle the repairs myself since they were only minor. Lucas took the time to show me how to make the repairs and what products to use. I really appreciated his honesty, knowledge and professionalism during his visit. I would definitely contact this company again if I had any roofing repairs.

The professional crews that did this were great, if I had a problem with something that had been done it was resolved that day. If you are getting a metal roof you must realize that it is not something that goes up in three or four days like a shingled roof. Every panel was cut to proper size, the leading edge hemmed and screwed down with a screw every six inches. On this job the weather was a big factor, the rains that we had here in Jacksonville the early part of this year just didn't want to stop, this held up work a few times. The day the metal for the roof arrived we received over 2" of rain, but the Neligan roofer was out in my driveway cutting metal panels. With many delays due to weather the job was completed in a reasonable amount of time. Every crew from the different trades that worked on this project was very professional and easy to work with. I would really like to name them, but I'm afraid I'll miss one of them, so I'll saw every one from the office staff to the junior tradesmen were great. Neligan does not use subcontractors so you always know who you are dealing with. My house looks like a brand new house, my neighbors have all told me how great it looks.

Always arrived on time, gave us a better price than others we interviewed for the job, had a small leak afterwards and they came back immediately and checked it out and secured the shingles. We were being threatened by our homeowners insurance that they were going to cancel our policy and the company went out of their way to make sure we had the work done on time and all the documents we needed were provided. This review should have been submitted earlier but I forgot. Recently we had a separate issue with a problem in our house and Ed came out on a Sunday afternoon and helped us determine the source of the problem and gave us steps to remedy the problem. He did this because we were a former customer and without cost.

I cannot say enough good things about Neligan. It may be the best customer service we've ever received from a vendor. Our house is for sale, and the day after we received an offer we noticed a water stain on the ceiling in our garage, and I went to the attic and discovered water. We got Neligan out there fairly quickly and it turned out to be a small repair, the leak was due to sealant failure. Unfortunately, the repair was done just hours before a heavy rain, and the day before our house inspection (which was done in a pouring rain). We think the sealant had not settled yet, and the inspector saw a wet spot and wrote it up as having been improperly repaired, saying shingles needed to be pulled up and wood replaced. Neligan came back out. They could have easily collected more money from me by just doing what the inspection report said to do, but they had the integrity to tell me that I should NOT do what the inspection report recommended, that it would inevitably lead to more issues. The roofer, Will, even offered to meet the inspector at our house to prove that wood was not compromised and the leak was completely repaired. The week after the repair we had over 5 inches of rain at our house, and our attic was bone dry. So I cannot more heartily recommend a company than I do Neligan.

I had several AL quotes for a tear off and re-roof. I was using insurance money to pay for the work and Neligan's quote was the best and included the upgraded Owen's Corning architetual shingles. I chose Neligan as their quote was lowest AND they were A rated on AL AND they are a BBB listed comany. First... Sherri is the customer service person I worked with and her customer service skills are IMPECCABLE! She is a true asset to Neligan and whatever they are paying her... it isn't enough. She answered every question I had, was patient, helpful, kind and professional. I found myself thanking her over and over again. Dave was my project manager and he is obviously extremely knowledgeable in his field. He took time to explain the pros and cons of each decision i needed to make and I never felt as though I was being pressured to buy something or to choose a more expensive option. He was on time for appointments and communicated with me along the way regarding the status. Work began early in the morning on a Friday and by noon they were putting the moisure barrier down. Rain threatened all day and there was one hour when it did rain and work had to halt. But by 5pm they were putting the final nails in. ONE DAY for a re-roof. AMAZING. Great crew. It did rain, hard, that night and so they were not able to do clean up. The dumpster also stayed in my driveway that evening, so my car had to stay parked on the street overnight. The next morning it was still pouring, but the crew came out to remove the dumpster. I felt so bad for them working to secure and remove the dumpster in the pouring rain! Due to the rain, they couldn't do clean up, but promised someone would come out shortly to at least run the magnet for metal, nails and staples. By mid day on Saturday the rain had stopped, still no one came. By 5pm I wanted my car off the street and in the garage, so I swept the driveway myself. Monday I called and asked when clean up would take place and they sent a crew out that same day. Dave, my project manager, also called to apologize for the clean up delay and he himself came out to the house and double checked the clean up. I don't feel this is how things would normally happen with this company... I think the extreme rain simply threw off their schedule. Dave made it all right and also addressed some minor concerns I had. He was very apologetic about the lack of clean up and came back one additional time to ensure that all was in order. I would like very much to use Neligan again for additional work I need done, but their prices are a bit steep when insurance isn't assisting. I've gotten two quotes from them: 1 to complete an unfinished siding project on the front of my home and 2, painting the trim and replacing the metal corners and wood window trim. I was really very shocked by the quote for both. While I'd love to use them again, they are way out of my price range!

I was very happy with the experience. Ed and his team are helpful and knowledgeable. He came out the day after I called to give me a quote and spent a lot of time answering my questions and providing me with a diagram showing where he recommended they be installed as well as a quote for the whole house. They were able to schedule and complete the job quickly. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to use them for future jobs.

Neligan was extremely nice and their estimator made sure he fully explained his quote and options for the home. We decided not to buy the home but we would definitely call them again in the future

The fireplace doesn't leak anymore.

I had a small leak in the roof which I was working on getting estimates for fixing. William came out to do the estimate and found that a pipe had no sealing around the cover. He fixed it on the spot. When I asked him what I owed he said that it was simple and " I'm not going to charge for that," and to just let him know if leaked with the next rain. Now that is great customer service and a way to get loyalty and referrals. Great job!

They installed additional back splashing to correct a problem with 2 of our gutters, where they were leaking between the end of the roof and the back of the gutters. In addition, they corrected our gutter pitch, resealed our corner seams, and checked our other gutters for leaks and repaired them as necessary. Neligan was punctual and the work was performed to our satisfaction. We would consider them, first, for other projects that we have in mind for the future.

Altho they always maintained a professional and responsive attitude, this small job was plagued by so many little problems that I would not be comfortable using this company for a larger project. They did try very hard to compensate with apologies and a discount on the final price, but the total experience was disappointing. The initial estimate was incomplete, but I don't know if that was my fault or theirs. Then the installation was rescheduled 3 times-1st due to the wrong color product being ordered and the twice due to illness of the work crew. Then there was a problem with the actual installation that I assumed was substandard work, but was actually a problem with incorrect materials again. That they were returning to rectify this I was not aware of at the time. The final product seems fine, I just wouldn't want to go through this process with an entire roofing project.

I called office number on 02/24/2014 about plumbing boot water leak issue i noticed during heavy rain, past weekend, my case was assigned to Will to come out on 02/26/2014. Will was running little later as his previous service took longer and he was 45 mins away from house. He called me to notify he is running late by 15 min. he arrived on time. quickly surveyed site , it was not major, just need plumbing boot collar replacement and re-seal. game me estimate of $150.00 i will schedule him to fix my leak issue for later date, as it was raining today.

Out of 6 roofing companies I called, 2 being on this list, Neligan was the only one that answered the phone. The others all had voicemail and not one of them called me back. Neligan got the job done quickly, in between much rain, and did a great job. Will was a pleasure to work with.

They were very professional and provided a competitive estimate for re-siding my house. I elected to go with another contractor who was referred by my neighbor.

1) Neligan returned my first call very quickly 2) The person who reviewed the chimney and provided a quote was right on time. 3) The quote included pictures from the top of the chimney so I could see the actual problem without having to get up on the ladder - or just take their word on what the issue was. 4) Once I decided to go with Neligan - they custom fabricated the pieces and installed them within a day. 5) Great communications throughtout the entire job I would recommend Neligan to anyone - they did a great job and the experience was great!!

They used quality materials and completed the work sooner than estimated despite very cold weather. Very professional and were very informative on what to expect. The crews were courteous and kept my property clean without any debris left out. Completed the project ahead of schedule. Actual cost was less than the estimate.

Will, the forman, from Neligan, was on time and knew exactly what to do for the leak problem. We hired him over several others. We had several other roofers who stated we needed a new roof now, while Will stated you still have about 4-5 years left. The roofer, Timmy and his brother, worked very hard to solve the leak problem and correct all issues. I would defintely hire them in the futuere to re-roof the whole house.

Let me just say we were very pleased with the two workers that came to our house to repair and paint the eaves of our house. Although we were only getting the upper trim work painted, we had them pressure wash the entire exterior of the house. They also repaired damaged areas of the wood trim and removed dirt daubers before painting. They did an excellent job repairing all the damaged areas, removing the daubers and a meticulous job painting. I would have liked the pressure washing to have been a little more thorough, but our house was already pretty clean to start with, so they didn't feel it was necessary to use any bleach or chemicals. Overall we were very happy with the outcome and would hire them again.

We needed gutters and downspouts installed on our house. Ed came out and gave us a written estimate, scheduling an installation date at our convenience. The installation crew arrived on time (a few minutes early, actually), confirmed the job and set to work. Professional and polite, they installed the gutters and downspouts without fuss or commotion. Later that day, a knock on our door let us know they were finished. They walked us around the perimeter to show us exactly what was done, including a few last-minute modifications (at our request) for future rain barrels, and asked if we had any questions. The gutters look great and the service was terrific - we'll be contacting Nelligan Constriction again for one or two home projects in the near future.
