Mark showed up early. He painted trim and doors in main living area, hallway and kitchen and gave wonderful suggestion on how to fix a beading problem with some of the paint. I will hire him again.

Mark arrived at time agreed upon to inspect door in order to provide an estimate. Prompt estimate emailed to us. Once accepted, he showed up in a timely manner when agreed upon, prepped the door and painted it. Very conscientious. Door looks as if it's made of wood rather than fiberglass. Price to us seemed high, but was well worth it. He spent probably 8 hours on the job.

Went well. I had to point out a couple spots he missed or needed touch-up but he immediately fixed the issue. Very satisfied with his work and responsiveness. A little pricey, thought it was about a $700 job, not $900 though.

He was professional, polite, worked a full 8 hours per day, and did it on Saturday and Sunday because he was so busy with other clients. He squeezed me into his schedule without a day off for him to rest. His work is impeccable, he does not make a mess, you would not even know painting had been going on in the house, because he leaves everything cleaner than when he arrived. I will recommend him to everyone I know. In fact I am now having him paint three rooms and a ceiling and he will be done before the day is out. Just great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had Mark come back and do additional painting for us because his work is exceptional and we were so pleased with the work he initially did for us. He is a true professional, in every sense of the word. If you want someone who does an outstanding job and leaves your home the way he found it , then Mark is your guy.

It was a special deal so it took a while to make an appointment. When we had a date, Mark came punctually and worked the whole day without stopping. He painted almost all of the trim downstairs in my house. It was a good job, very neatly done, without any drops on the floor. He made sure everything was clean after himself.

We initially hired Mark for only one day, but we were so impressed with his work that we are having him come back to do additional painting. His work is exceptional and his work ethic is superior to most.

Mark was very professional and very meticulous with his work. Mark made time out of his busy schedule to fit me and my needs in last minute. His prices were a little on the high side but I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for and I'm very pleased with the work.

Mark was prompt when called for an estimate. The painting I needed was in an apartment (2nd floor) over a day care center. I was not quite ready to have the work done but wanted Mark to see the space. When I completed the work and called Mark back he said the Big Deal didn't apply to commercial work and that I should contact Angies List for a refund.

He was very prompt, courteous, and did a great job. We are hiring him again to paint our walls.

It was fine and he did a good job. The scheduling was fine and he was right on time, and worked right up to the 8 hours. The deal was a good value. It was just the one guy doing the job. Everything was cleaned up and I didn’t have to follow up with anything afterwards.

Was on time as promised. Did a good job. Brought his own paint and painted my wood trim as promised.

Weather was not good so took few extra day to finished, but he did wonderful job all by himself.

I would strongly recommend this company. I contracted Mr Howell to do several rooms in my new home. His pricing was reasonable and the finished product was outstanding. He showed up on time and was a work horse to the end. I will use this company again for my remaining rooms.

Mark did most of the work himself. He's very professional, covers details that you might not think of or expect, and uses quality Sherman Williams paints (although he will reportedly use cheaper product if the customer demands it). I was actually surprised at how good our house looked when he was done.

Mark was on-time for the estimate appointment on Saturday. He inspected the bathrooms and bedroom that I wanted done. I asked for estimate at the same time to get a rough idea on the price to repaint the exterior at a later date for which he also inspected. He called me very shortly after the appointment with final prices for each room (as some rooms needed more attention than others) and for the exterior. We agreed upon the price for the interior work with a start date of Monday (yes that fast!) and a completion date of Wednesday or possibly Thursday. Mark was on time each day and completed everything on Wednesday! No mess left behind each day! I must say - awesome job! Mark is my new painter!! I will definately hire him for the exterior when time comes and all other future paint jobs!!

His price was on the high end. He was on time and professional. He was out of our range regarding price; if we could have afforded him we would have probably used him.

This review is for a referral from Mark Howell. We contacted Mark for a drywall job and he said he didn't perform this type of job but he had a drywall contractor that he used. The individual that he referred gave us a quote, we accepted, and was a no-call, no-show for his first day of work.

Mark subcontracted the drywall to another company, which necessitated a slightly higher price than the original quote - but since he and his crew worked over Christmas and the holidays to accommodate my schedule, I felt the extra amount was worth it. Mark was punctual, and extremely responsive. I only ever dealt directly with Mark - but there were a large number of people under him that helped complete the project. Over Christmas, we actually moved out of the house for a couple of weeks - and Mark utilized that time efficiently, finishing the job in less time. The price was not the lowest I was quoted - nor was it the highest - but I felt comfortable hiring Mark because of his reference list. The end product, however, really shone through - the colors matched perfectly, and the job that Mark did absolutely outdoes any other paint job I've seen in the Jacksonville area - I am extremely satisfied with the results and would totally recommend Mark to other homeowners wanting a truly professional paint job.

Outstanding. Mark Howell's estimate of the job was most reasonable, especially compared with others we had received. Mark was always on time, worked alone, diligently and efficiently, until the job was done. He pleasantly took our suggestions and was very accommodating. He handled the few unforeseen problems that arose with expertise. He cleaned up entirely when the job was finished. He even worked quietly in the early morning so I could sleep late (grin). I would not hesitate to give him my highest recommendation.

This was work we deemed necessary in a newly purchased home. We had a previous experience with Mark on a much smaller scale and were completely satisfied. We felt very comfortable with the overall quality and timeliness of Mark's work. He was punctual, offered suggestions and finished a very large job within the time frame we discussed prior to contract agreement. He cleaned up after every days work, advised us of his progress and planning on a daily basis. Would absolutely use him again.

I saw his ad in the St. Augustine Record. I called him, he came and gave an estimate, we had two other estimates then called Mark to come and do the painting. He bought the paint, brought the drop cloths, moved the furniture, did the painting and was finished in two days. We were very pleased.

The entire exterior was prepped, patched and painted on time. I was very pleased with the work.
