+ 1 moreThey removed the carpeting and the existing tiles and laid new tiles in their place. All went well except the master bath room. During removal they filled the master bedroom with a heavy fine dust. We had to send the bedding and curtains out for cleaning and have a company come in to do a deep cleaning. This could have been prevented by installing a plastic curtain between the two rooms. We are pleased with the final outcome.
Description of Work: Provided new tile in living room, master bath and back bathroom. The living room was carpeted and the bathrooms were tile.

+ 0 moreRobert and the folks at Hester's were friendly, courteous and professional. Since we are only at the house part time they did everything they could to work within our time schedule. Robert came out to measure and provided us with the total amount of carpet needed so that we could shop at home in NC. When we picked the carpet we wanted we called them with the style name and color and gave them the dates we would be back in Fl. When we got back to Fl. we went to the store on a Monday they ordered the carpet and verified it would be in their shop by Fri. and set the install date for the following Mon. The entire process was seamless and could not have gone any smoother. We have two more rooms to do, and we will be using Hester's again without fail. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing a first class carpet installation.
Description of Work: Removed and disposed old carpet from master bedroom and office and installed new carpet in family room, living room, office and master bedroom and closets.

+ -1 moreHester's crew, Mike and Cody, are professional, courteous, solid workers. Never once did they annoy us with loud music, cigarette smoke or three-hour lunch breaks. They were there to do a job and they did a FIRST CLASS job that they and we are proud of.
Description of Work: Hester's worked with us to select porcelain tile to replace a bungled engineered wood floor installation by others. Hester's assured us they would be there and 'do it right'. Without double checking, the crew of two arrived two weeks later, right on time, as promised. The old floor was removed, the reasons for the poor installation pointed out and the glue scraped up. They cleaned up when done and left the house and we hardly knew they were there. The next day they leveled the floor, and set the wood-look tile. The next day (Saturday) they came back at the appointed time and finished the job. Very professional, good workers, excellent installation.

They arrived when they said with friendly, professional installers who worked non-stop in horrible Florida heat to get the job done to perfection. + 0 moreWe discovered after the old flooring was removed that we had a moisture problem. Hester's treated the problem and then laid new sub flooring before laying our new hardwood, a beautiful maple.
Description of Work: We bought a house which needed extensive remodeling including new sub-floors, hardwood and some carpet. The team at Hester's Abbey became like family, transforming our house into a home. The craftsmanship was spectacular and not one mistake throughout our project. I highly recommend this company.
