Nice weld job at fair price. Small job like this had to be worked into schedule due to other jobs, and then unfortunately had to be re-scheduled due to inclement weather, so took a bit longer than anticipated to get in. Provided helpful direction on creating better plates than originally planned.

It didnt. Called the number on Angie's List and was told I reached a personal cell and that he only welds cars. Time to update info on Angie's List to avoid wasting boy your time and that of potential customers.

Barry greeted me as soon as I arrived and took the chairs into his shop and started prepping them for the welds. The entire job took about 30 minutes. He had quoted me $75 on the phone, sight unseen but charged me $40 which I felt was much fairer for the small amount of work involved. I also paid in cash which I think made it more reasonable because he didn't have any expenses associated with credit cards. Barry was very courteous and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to refer others to him or use him again myself. The only downside was finding his shop and the distance of over 40 miles from my house. But it was worth it and I can now paint my furniture!

A rung broke on one of my fairly new wrought iron dinette chairs. I thought I was going to have to replace it or pay quite a bit of money to have it repaired. I contacted Barry at Bear Welding. He gave me an estimate over the phone and said he would weld it while I waited. That day I carried the chair to his shop (his shop was very nice and easy to reach with a GPS) and, while I waited, it took him less than 10 minutes to weld and paint the repair. I was amazed and relieved that I did not have to buy a new chair. He was very kind and professional.

I found Barry's shop on Angie's list. I need to have my drivers side floor pan cut out and a new pan installed on my 1990 Jeep Wrangler. Icalled Barry and set time to meet him. He gave me a cost of less than half of what others wanted to do the job. We set an appointment and he went to work on it right away. I also had him remove some screws that were frozen in the tailgate. He did a great job and charged me what we had agreed . I plan to recommend him to all my friends and use him on other projects that I have in mind. If you want a great job done at a fair priceI highly recommend him.
