Danny arrived on time and stayed for an hour, basically giving me a practical botany lesson on the trees in my yard. At the end he put his recommendations in writing so I could remember which trees he recommended to trim or remove. He also alerted me to the fact that we needed to dig away the soil and mulch covering that the previous owners had put over our live oak tree roots. Our big live oaks in the front yard are healthy but this would have led to problems down the road. I felt like Danny's visit was worth every penny of the $125 paid. He also gave me the name of a couple of tree trimmers he would trust to prune the trees correctly. They had been done incorrectly in the past.

He advised us to let the tree continue growing without cutting any large limbs. Some were close to our roof and concerned us, but he advised us to just lightly trim them, but no major action. He did not try to sell us anything, but gave us peace of mind regarding the tree, and advised that the tree was very healthy.

The company to whom they referred us was also extremely professional and was able to get out the same day when I explained that my neighbor was about to cut down three Southern Red Cedars (25ft+) because some branches were overhanging his property. Their price was very reasonable and they also gave me an estimate on future work.

They came out to look at my situation (tree roots pushing up walkway pavers) and recommended I remove some nearby hedges, which I did. Time will tell if this completely alleviates the problem, but it's been almost 2 months now and I don't see any further damage

Mr. Lippi of Advanced Tree Care came to advise me on a tree I felt could be too close to the house. He stayed for about an hour inspecting all of our trees and advised me on the care for trees as well as the problems that trees can develop. He answered each of my questions with interesting information. He pointed out problems that another laurel oak and palm tree are having. He advised as to treating the trees for these problems, which we would not have noticed.until possibly too late He also took samples from a palm so that I could send the samples to a testing facility to diagnose the tree's problems. I will definitely call him again, especially when we have our trees trimmed so that he can advise the workers. I will also probably call him yearly so that he can inspect our trees. Mr. Lippi was worth every penny--he didn't sell my anything or offer to do anything, he was a tree expert and gave objective advice about our trees..
