I like working with local businesses and that's what you get with Quality Cabinet. They live and work in the community. They showed up on time and gave me a fair price with no high pressure sales tactics. The prices were fair, they were on time and did a good job. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend this company.

I will start with "Had it not been for a major issue we faced after installation", I would rate them a "A-". Pete was my point of contact from start to the end with Design/Installation/Service. He was professional, and a gentleman but at the end of the day, I have to rate them on the cabinets. Pros: 1. I got 3 quotes from different companies and Quality Cabinets was the lowest. By about 18% compared to the next quote. 2. They were very responsive and prompt to return my calls (esp before the contract was signed). 3. Quality of cabinets (Matrix) is all wood. Looks good. 4. Installation was done on time and as promised. 5. They did come back and installed toe kick and soft close contraptions for cabinets. Cons: 1. If I were to use them again, I would certainly have a detailed contract with design attached. My contract just said "replace cabinets". There were things we had asked for, which seems to come as a surprise to Pete when asked. For example, we requested soft close doors and drawers from get go. I was later told that Drawers come standard with soft close but not cabinets. On the +ve note, Pete did install the soft close contraptions for cabinets as well but we had to ask. 2. I would certainly attach agreed design to the contract. In our case, a full set of drawers instead of lower cabinet was missed. We did make some changes to design and I attributed it mostly to going back and forth. It was my responsibility as much as theirs that they understood what is being agreed to. 3. The shelves did not fit properly in pantry. 3/6 shelves were 1/4" short in width which made them unstable under load. I was told these are premade cabinets and there is nothing they can do about it. Not something i wanted to hear. Their suggestion was to put 2x4's under those shelves by ourselves. 4. All the things above were to some extent acceptable to me cuz of the price. But this following one was not. We did tile floors through out the house before cabinets but stopped at kitchen as the old cabinets were not yet removed. Floor contracter clearly told us to let him know when old cabinets were removed in so he can complete the tile before new cabinets go in. Pete disagreed. I went with Pete's suggestion. Installed cabinets on the floor. Tile contractor was not happy but he came and finished the kitchen. Guess what when we got our new appliances.. Our slide in stove sits 3/4" above granite at the lowest setting. Appliances are standard. Cabinets are standard. So what went wrong. Also the 3/4" is about the thickness of tile+thinset. Talked to Pete. His suggestion was to remove tile below the stove "ourselves". Tile removal is not the easiest thing. And even if we remove it .. it will make moving the stove a huge hassle. This to me is Cabinets 101. Read bunch of forums on cabinet install and I give Quality Cabinets and "F" for it. Having said all this, I went back and read their reviews. 99% of their reviews are "Cabinet Resurfacing". They are masters of what they do best. And thats on me to not have read that carefully enough. All in all, that stove situation made it extremely difficult for us and hence this review.

The entire process went very well. Troy (the owner), Bruce and Jason were experienced and perfectionists when it came to the entire finished product. I love my new cabinets! We went from a dark oak that blended with the hardwood floors and was blah?.to WOW! The color is cream with brushed nickel handles. Bruce did an excellent job of installing beautiful crown moulding. There was a slight setback with a couple of cabinet doors missing from the shipment but they got them finished and installed as quickly as possible! Jason even helped me put in a new replacement microwave. I can't say enough good things about this company. I'm so happy with these cabinets that I'm now having them re-do the pantry!

Built and installed a floor to ceiling corner cabinet and a counter with drawers and storage under. That part of our relationship went well and was timely. We also were to get a bookcase for cookbooks installed on the new counter and were told it would take about three weeks or so. On November 18,2014 Troy, the owner came out and we discussed the bookcase, a new pull down door front for the sink and what to use to secure the laminate which was pulling away from the front of some of the older doors. At that point, all was well and proceeding, I thought, fine. I have been trying since then to find out when the bookcase would be finished and installed but have not been able to talk to Troy or his wife, Jennifer, who answers the phone. I have left voice messages on his cell and business phones and even texted to his cell to no avail. I even left one message and said that if the job was too small for him to mess with to at least let me know and even that call was not returned.

I really do not have a complaint. The only set back was 3 drawers did not come in on time and one was the incorrect measurement - wrong size. It may have been the manufacturer's fault. I can't say for sure. However, they were very professional and courteous.

Pete arrived the same day I called Troy to give an estimate. He was in the area. He told us it had to be approved by Troy before work could begin which was no problem because I had lined up four other companies to give us estimates. Over the next two weeks the other four came and gave us their estimates. I could have saved myself a lot of work and time if I would have just gone with Quality Cabinet Refacing. The other companies that gave us estimates weren't even close in price even though they were using the same materials. In fact, one company gave an estimate of almost $25,000. Two were in the upper teens and one was $9750. Of course these companies had their own sales teams that you could tell that they never did the work themselves. Two were national companies. Troy's workers were very professional. They arrived on time working until quitting time except for lunch and the standard breaks. The speed and quality of their work was impressive. When they came to a few spots where they had to improvise they made sure to include us in the decision making process giving us several solutions to choose from. Right after they finished, Pete showed up for payment which we paid the remaining balance. However, the next morning when the light in the room had changed we noticed a slight color difference in the material they used to reface the cabinets around the stove. I called to let them know, thinking we shouldn't have paid the balance until we really had a good look at it. Troy said they were pretty busy but he could possibly send out a couple workers in three or four days depending when they finish the job they were currently working on. Of course, I was thinking they really have no incentive to rush over and correct it. Three days later they arrived after lunch and pulled the oven, drawers and a couple cabinets and replaced the lament surround them explaining that sometimes they get some material that with just a slight difference that if your not in the right light you can miss it. They were cheerful as usual and were finished cleaning up by 4:00 pm. We are very happy with the quality of their work and the new look it gave our house.

Troy refaced our maple cabinets and performed some minor repair work to some cabinet fronts. We removed and delivered all of the cabinet fronts to save some money and also reinstalled them after Troy delivered them. It looks like we have a totally new kitchen for less than half the price. Troy did quote me several different "service" options at my request. He quoted new door fronts, having him remove paint and reinstall and then us removing/delivering/reinstalling cabinet fronts.

Pete arrived early - just by a couple of minutes- perfect timing to do the estimate. Troy did the measurements a couple of days later. I requested the work be done on Thursday or Friday which it was. The entire experience was wonderful. The cabinets look awesome.

Contaced Troy on Monday and he said he would come be the next day to take a look. I waited all day on Tuesday as thjs was something that need to be resolved because I had already purchased the refrigerator. I called twice to see if he was coming and never received a call back. I finally called on Wednesday morning as left a message that it was obvious that he did not want to do this and that I would call someone else..

Work was done as expected and the crew was great. Excellent service

They did beautifully. We've used them before. Their pricing was reasonable.

The quoting, installation and professionalism made it a please to do business with this firm. Would highly recommend to others.

Pete, the sales rep. was very informative about the refacing process, offering suggestions on different things that could be done in the kitchen and providing wood/counter top samples as well as pictures of past jobs. I wanted to talk with customers who had work done by the company and he arranged that for me. I spoke by phone with one customer and visited another customer where the family used the company in the past and was so satifsied with their work they had them reface the kitchen in their new house and the job had just been completed. The kitchen looked great and the workmanship was exceptional. That sold me! Troy Gaito, the owner, came and measured my kitchen/laundry room cabinets on April 27. The refacing was set to begin May 6 and was completed on May 9, with the exception of two drawer fronts which were not the correct size. One front was temporarily put on the laundry sink cabinet but the drawer in the kitchen was left without a front. The workmen were skilled craftsmen, very personable, and did an excellent job. My kitchen/laundry cabinets looked brand new and quite elegant. 2 weeks later I ordered corbels for my breakfast bar. That was the beginning of an interminable wait to get my kitchen finished. Over the next 2.5 months, I made periodic phone calls to Pete to check on the progess of my order. Oftentimes I waited for days on end to get a call back. i finally learned that the corbels were on back order with no hint of when they'd be in. Tired of looking at my "frontless" drawer, I called Troy. He came out July 18 and was very apologetic about my missing drawer fronts and the lack of communication over the past few months. He said the drawer fronts should have been put in as soon as they arrived so that part of the order could have been finished. Then there was a problem with getting the corbels to fit so Troy was going to try to make his own and get a sample to me to see if I liked it. Since I hadn't heard from him in over a week, I called him on July 30. He was in the middle of a job and promised to call me back when he was done....but he didn't. I left Troy a message that evening, telling him to forget about the corbels and to please get my drawer fronts put on so my kitchen/laundry room could finally be finished. He called the next morning and sent Jason out with the drawer fronts. After waiting almost three months, my refacing project was finally complete! I was and still am extremely satisfied with the quality and workmanship of my cabinets. If it weren't for the outrageous lack of customer service which forced me to wait for almost three months to get my job completed, I would have highly recommended this company.

The cabinets were ordered in August and delivered in early October, exactly when we were promised. A crew of about 8 men arrived on a Monday morning. They were able to immediately begin the install since we had already removed everything from the old kitchen over the preceding weekend. The group of installers, along with Troy Gaito, who owns the company, were very professional and knowledgable. They had most everything in by 4:00 that day, and finished up the next day. Wow - compared to the horror stories we've heard about cabinets taking weeks to install, this job went really well. They did an excellent job -on time - and the quality was even better than I expected.

They charged me $9400 for their services. They were very meticulous and very professional. They explained what they were doing. I was very pleased with them. I will use their services again in the future if I need to.

Everything was great. They kept to their quote and I also added some electrical work that was not planned for, which they did this work as well. They were prompt and were very clean. They put plastic up everywhere and there wasn't a lot of dust. They also took care of plumbing work. They coordinated the work with the granite installer. They were great to work with and very responsive.
