It went great! It took a couple of months longer than we thought it would though. Due to no fault of Jamie and his team we had 2 contracts fall through. The circumstances were completely on the buyers, but Jamie did a great job of supporting us through the sale. We initially had a contract within 48 hours of listing the property, and the final contract was completed and closed two weeks faster than anticipated. Jamie is an amazing Realtor. We've purchased and sold 6 different houses in our married life and Jamie is, by far the best Realtor we've ever worked with. My husband and I have been considering selling our house but we were not sure what the current market value of our home might be or where we should focus our efforts on making improvements that could help it sell better. I called Jamie Everett after reviewing recommendations from others and asked if he could help me or give me ideas on where to start. While on the phone he immediately went to work, asking me questions about my home, reviewed the types of things that might impact real or perceived value, and then pulled up information from various public and professional resources on other houses that had sold recently in my area. After Jamie helped me as much as possible on the phone, he gave me a basic understanding of the types of things a real estate agent should know and explained that while he had some familiarity with homes in my area from bringing buyers to this area, he was not an expert on selling houses in my area which is over an hour's drive from his office. Before I could become too disappointed, Jamie offered to reach out to a professional associate that was familiar with my area and within 2 hours had personally confirmed with another agent that they would be willing to help me continue on my house selling journey. Even better, the person he contacted had other houses listed in my neighborhood and had recently sold a house within blocks of me so I could benefit from leads he already had on buyers interested in this area. While Jamie didn't sell my home, he was still a helpful and friendly resource to get me started and then ensured I had someone who that could help me continue on if I wanted. More importantly, he knew from the time I gave him my address that helping me was not likely to result in any immediate business for him but he still took the time to make sure I got the answer to the questions I needed. That is great service and that is why if I ever want to buy or sell a house near him, I will be reaching back out to him again!

Jamie is the guy you want on your side of a negotiation. My wife and I were represented by Jamie when we purchased our family's first home about 4 years ago. Of course we went back to him when it was time to purchase a new home as our family has grown. Jamie listed our home and within 48 hours we had 4 viewing appointments. By the following day we were under contract in excess of the listing price. Jamie always kept us informed throughout the process but he really took control of the situation and did the heavy lifting. Jamie is an outstanding realtor. There are not enough superlatives. He is professional, courteous and he gets things done. Both my spouse and I are commuting to different cities, so Jamie made sure he was at the house for inspections etc. We used the mortgage broker Jamie recommended and he and his team did an outstanding job as well, working day and night to get the closing done on time. I wish we would have met Jamie earlier, we looked for homes with another agent for about a year. This is our forever home so we will not need Jamie as a realtor again, but I can without hesitation strongly recommend that you look no further if you are buying or selling in this area.

Read all the glowing reviews on Angie's List, felt assured that Jamie was the realtor for us! We loved him from the very first meeting and haven't changed our opinion since. He is a very positive, caring individual who truly does want to do the best for his clients. However, this does not mean that he is unrealistic about what a house will or will not sell for, etc. He is realistic, knows what he's doing. We felt like he knew the market very well and could give us a very good estimate on what we could expect, the timeline, etc. (And even though it doesn't probably always work out like this, he told us we would probably sell our house by the end of June, and we closed on June 28!!) He was with us every step of the way, calmed our anxiety when things were moving along as quickly as we thought they should, etc. Really, just can't say enough good things about him. From the first day Jamie met us, he was prompt, professional, and listened, in detail, to my needs in terms of listing and selling our property. Jamie Everett was an exceptional advocate throughout my home buying process. From the beginning he paid careful attention to the factors that mattered to me and tailored the search to my requirements and interests. He never tried to interest me in properties that were above the price range I was interested in - a pet peeve of mine. Jamie was extremely proactive about setting up appointments to see properties and was open and candid about the pros and cons of those we visited.
