He replaced a 9 lite glass door on sunroom with a basic metal garage entry door with 1 small window, no one was present when installed. When I returned I was shocked to find he didn't replace it with the same type of door! When contacted he informed me it was a special order it would take 8- 9 weeks and other excuses, he assured me it would be taken care of. I called repeatedly after 9 weeks and he never answered my calls again, got voice mail. Never replaced. Also the repairs they did on roof, leaked, and ceiling was re- damaged. They never sealed the bottom of the enclosure, either. The repairs were never done correctly , calls never answered or returned. Paid in full. Got ripped off!

Company was recommended from a cabinetry company where I purchased my cabinet from in St. Petersburg Fl. Job went well in the beginning, workers were on time. Problem started when had to call Bruce back for things that needed to be corrected, ceiling had to be repainted several times and still not correct, it has a lot of spots in it of bad patches, electrical works not complete, needs to do more work to bring box up to code, lights flickering when turned on, wrong dimmers used. Drywall work for door closure paint not sticking to wall.. Have called Bruce several times, at first he said he could come by...now he stopped answering my calls.

All was done in a timely and neat manner. Mike is great, knowledgable and very respectful.

They did a poor job. I hired him because I had heard that he did a good job on the houses he had previously worked on but I was mistaken. He did not level the floors well, I have like a half inch to three quarter inch rift between some tiles. I had him put in a new ceiling but the ceiling was crooked and he only realized it when he had to add on the molding and couldn't do anything to fix it. The grout has come out three times in the kitchen and in the foyer, so I'm right to say that he used defective grout and he also bought for me a used door instead of a new one and fixed it in anyway. I also have a problem in the bathroom because water keeps draining back and the shower doors weren't fixed in properly, they seem to slant outwards rather than inwards towards the shower drain. They didn't clean up after themselves at the end of the day so I had to go there and clean up the sawdust. They also had this blue material they used in the sub flooring and they got it allover my white tiles so I spent hours trying to scrape it off. He used to take money from me for buying materials and instead of billing me for the products as he got them, he hiked the prices and when I asked him for an itemized bill, he couldn't give me one. His workers would come and leave early and he wasn't around to supervise some of the work that he needed to. He wasn't always available at the site so the job that was supposed to be for three months ended up taking six months to complete. He wanted to charge me an extra 250 dollars for the wiring and yet he even had no permits for the wiring he did. When I had an architectural engineer come out to look at the work he had done, they ended up pulling his license because the work was so badly done. So I had a very bad experience with this company and I felt I got ripped off.

He did a great Jo remodeling condo. We had a problem with kitchen designer and he problem solved and fixed several problems that occurred. He even showed up to fix a leaky faucet after he was paid. My brother and sister-in-law are using him to remodel a rental condo of theirs because I was so pleased with him and his workers.

I love Bruce at Deep South Construction Services. He was great and my mom is having work done by him right now. It was very, very pleasant, honest, and does what he says and says what he does. He had 2 guys that work for him who are fantastic. The attention to detail, everything was done so professionally, they did everything to an A standard, and you didn't have to go back and say this doesn't look good do it again. They don't try and cut corners whatsoever. I think he may be more expensive.

He didn't do anything. I tried to hire him. We had an estimate and I agreed upon the estimate. I wanted to add work to the estimate and tweak it a little bit. He was supposed to give me the updated estimate four days later. Ten days later I gave him a call, he did not call back. Another seven days later I gave him a call, he still didn't call back. I emailed him and he did not email me back. After three weeks I called the individual who is doing my cabinetry, he recommended him. I told him that I haven't heard back from him in three weeks. He said give me one moment and he hung up the phone. He called me back. He said he can't call me back right now, he talked to him and he said he will call me back in the morning. The cabinet guy called me back early afternoon the next day. I told him he hasn't called me. I said I don't have time for this. It was a very, very poor experience. Consequently he put me in a time bind trying to get this stuff done. His quote was high but I went with him because it was $9000. I have since got somebody who is much cheaper and much more reliable. I was going to go ahead with the higher quote just because I thought since I am used to working with him and it might make things go a little smoother.

The men arrived on time everyday, unless there was an issue, then there was a phone call. The men that work for Bruce are so pleasant and easy to have in the home. Bruce almost always comes by each day to check the process to make sure that all is going according to plan. Construction and being displaced is not ever easy, but they made it as comfortable as possible.

The project began and completed on time and on budget. Their work was excellent and each day they cleaned up after themselves and left our place each day in great condition. Additionally, they covered everything with plastic, to include the closet doors, to keep the dust from getting on our possessions. They were not the cheapest quote that I got for the remodel, but what I paid was well worth it. I definitely got what I paid for.
