Construction Special - I am very disappointed. Randy fixed one problem and then created another. He installed the Astragal (at my request) and decided to notch out the frame because the active exterior door was difficult to open (his decision). This work was not in scope. After re-hanging the door with the hinge work completed, I started to notice a few other things. First off, the top of the active door does not line up with the stationary door. It does not sit flush; there is a gap at the top of the frame of the active door, and the Astragal has an opening crack at the top and bottom of its frame. The Astragal has weather stripping built-in to prevent this very thing from happening. So now I am dealing with an active door that is out of alignment. The only way to fix it is to rehang it with a completely new frame. I will think twice about using Angi or Home Advisor. I am not a happy camper.

Randy did a great job making repairs and remodeling my bathroom ceiling. He also worked with my electrician in repairing and ugly light switch and made drywall repairs around the newly installed light switches. Iâ ve already recommended him to my friends.

Randy, was awesome, he call me to find out about the project, told me a time when he was coming over to see the project, quote me a price and the next day he was at my house on time. Randy at Construction Specialist helped with a punchlist to get house ready for market. His prices were reasonable. He did a fantastic job! Within 48 hours of him finishing the list I had an offer on my house. He is very responsive when you call. I will definitely be calling in the future for any handyman services.
