Checkered Flag Pool Service

Awesome. I had a few few estimates, all quotes similiar, however really liked Kevin. I had a lot of questions, even a few weeks after finish and Kevin was always helpful/professional with advice.

HORRIBLE! Do not hire this company. Kevin, the owner does the repairs. And his team comes weekly for the pool service. The used (but new to me) DE filter leaked after install - and my housekeeper could hear Kevin cussing out loud while working on the unit. Kevin did fix the leak a few weeks later and filter seems to work OK. Salt cell seems to be working OK. Weekly service was atrocious. They would not show up weekly! I had to constantly keep track of when they came or didn't. There was no set day. There was always an excuse. So when I fired them at the beginning of July - it came as no surprise. However, I was emailed a billed for 1 month of weekly service. Then a couple of weeks later they charged my credit card for 2 months of service. They NEVER contacted me that they were going to do that. They NEVER sent me a receipt. I reviewed my credit card and that is how I saw the charges. They had kept my CC on file from the DE filter / salt cell install. Oh, and that was another thing, I got quoted one price on the salt cell, and then got billed another price. I had to keep close tabs on these shady people. NEVER HIRE THEM. NEVER.

Was referred to Kevin by a friend. Called and within a day or two, he came out to assess the situation and gave me a pleasant surprise by telling me it really wasn't as bad as I thought. Within 24 hours, the pool looked 100% better! He is now maintaining the pool on a weekly basis to keep it sparkling and clean! Totally recommend Checkered Flag to others!

Kevin & team worked on my pool to repair some broken built-in pool steps. They had to drain the pool, remove surrounding tile, chisel out old plastic steps, and then put it all back together. Kevin was very responsive and explained my options clearly. He and his team were very knowledgeable about working on pools in general. We had some issues with tile delivery during the repair process. Kevin & team were very flexible waiting until everything was available to complete the job. The duration was roughly 2 weeks with about 3-4 days of work to complete everything. Happy with checkered flag's work and would use them for pool repair again.

I emailed about 30 contractors to inspect my pool yesterday and Kevin was fast and efficient. I wanted a simple, no cost education on what services I might hire Checkered Flag for as this is my first pool. Got exactly what I wanted and I will use/promote them in the future.

They clean and maintain the chemical levels for my pool. A friend recommended them to me. They do an excellent job. The servicewoman is very friendly and prompt. My pool is beautiful!
