Description of Work: Richard came out to give me an estimate and saved me a whole lot of money by recommending I not get my house painted and just have some touch up done. He was so helpful, personable and knowledgeable. He spent close to an hour at my house giving me ideas and tips. He really understands the importance of relationship building in business!

Description of Work: these folks painted my home a few years ago. this report is for my mothers home. they did a great job on both houses. everything my mother asked for on her homes' paint job was accomplished. my homes paint is about 5 years old now with no fading, pealing or chipping.

Description of Work: Rich, John and Joan were great. We selected Rich from others that came and gave us an estimate because you can tell Rich truly loves to paint and he will tell you that. Others came, gave quota and you could tell we were just another job to them. Rich took his time, explained to us what he was going to do and not do. He suggested a third color around our door, which no one else did and it came out great. Rich was responsive to phone calls and questions. John and Joan were great as well. Yes you can get cheaper but I guarantee you that the care and effort not to mention Rich's experience and the enjoyment he gets from painting is far worth it. They painted my entire house, they presured the house first and even did my pool lanai. If you want a great paint job and want to hire people that truly care about their work then hire Rich. You won't be disappointed.

Description of Work: Regarding C.C.I. Painting Services and Richard “Rich” Weinberg, seldom has an experience like hiring a house painter been such a happy one. My wife and I had planed to have our house painted for some time. This became more pressing when we purchased a house in Kansas City and prepared to move. As is our practice we interviewed several house painters from Angie’s List. Most everyone made a good impression. However, when Rich came over it was as if the clouds had opened up. It was truly a different experience. Rich is very engaging and told us that what he enjoyed doing the most was actually house painting, which he would be doing personally with his crew. Rich is very opinionated in the best possible way when it came to choosing the colors to paint our home. I actually have a space planning degree, which means I am very familiar with choosing colors and quit opinionated myself. However, in the end I had to admit that Rich’s choice made the most sense. Because we would be putting our home on the market to sell the choice of color we painted our home was more important than usual, especially in this depressed housing market. Also his price for doing the job was quite reasonable as compared to our other estimates. We made our move just before Thanksgiving and Rich painted our home the same week. Rich actually worked us in earlier that he had first thought. He is booked well ahead, certainly owing to his outstanding work. Rich E-mailed us the pictures of our home. Our home looks great and one of my friends said our home looks terrific. In fact our home looks so good that it really stands out; which is probably the reason we have had a lot of interest in our home and actually received a very good offer, which we happily accepted. I am a very tough grader but I feel forced to give C.C.I. Painting Services and Rich an A, and I would give Rich an A+ if possible. Adding to the top quality work Rich is so engaging that you will find yourself wanting Rich to move into the house next to yours so he could be your neighbor.

Description of Work: Rich painted our house in 2009. He did a great job, but we failed to follow up to submit a report (shame on us!). We recently had our barrei tile roof replaced with asphalt shingles. This resulted in numerous areas where unpainted places were exposed - the barrel tiles covered more of the exterior house walls than the new shingles. We called Rich to ask him if he would give us a price for the necessary paint job. He came out the next day and started the job, but was forced to stop due to a thunderstorm. We were out of town for the next few days, but when we returned we saw that the job was done! I called Rich to see how much we owed him; he said "Nothing - I'm happy to do it to take care of a good customer". I'm sure he spent several hours on our roof - in 90-degree heat - to do this, and he wanted no payment - WOW! I insisted on paying him something, and he said "No, just give what you would've paid me to a worthy charity, or take your wife out to dinner". In short, I can't think of enough superlatives for Rich's customer service ethic. On the original 2009 paint job, and the recent gratis work, we were extremely pleased with his work, his professionalism, his attention to detail, and his obsession with making sure his customer is satisfied. And his price on the 2009 paint job was the best of 3 bids we solicited - and he also gave us a generous Angie's List discount. I know this report is so positive I expect to be contacted by Angie's List to make sure it's authentic, and I would welcome it. in fact, I hope it makes it into Angie's List magazine. Rich deserves it.
