The choices out there are overwhelming these days but Mike was able to look at our home and patio area and offer suggestions to make our decision process seamless and easy. We love the choice we made for our retractable awning for our new home and patio area. Mike was there along the way to answer calls and text messages promptly, product was delivered right on time and the installation was a piece of cake. The awning itself is so sturdy and durable and the fabric choices were extensive. Mike Meadows is the best salesperson ever! He was so patient with us and quite knowledgeable as well. Ron Kaminsky was always available by phone for any questions we had. The order, delivery and installation dates were never compromised. Juan completed the installation and was so competent, friendly and neat throughout the job. We really feel confident, too, that these same individuals will stand behind this awning in the future if needed. We would recommend this company to ANYONE. They get an A+ from us!

+ -1 moreThe salesman was professional and very knowledgeable. He explained all of the intricacies of the retractable awning. He was able to provide an instant look of the retractable awning as well as the awning above our side door before we decided. Price was a little high but the old saying "you get what you pay for!" and with Solarus USA, Inc. we got much more than we paid for! The installers were on time, knew exactly what they were doing, worked efficiently, cleaned up, and, most of all, took the time the explain how to use the retractable awning. They also spoke highly of the Company and its products and warranties, which gave me confidence in my choice. Overall, a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend Solarus USA, Inc. for any of your awning needs. You will not be disappointed!

+ -1 moreI had Solarus USA come out and install a Awning over my back patio. I cannot tell you the difference that it has made. I will be honest, I use it more for the shade in my family room than I do for the shade on my patio. It has made a big difference in how much time we spend together in the family room. The Florida sun is brutal sometimes. Without my awning, my patio would be unbearable. The awning was worth every penny!

We got 3 sun screens and 1 awning installed at our house in Palm Beach, they did a excellent job and we love our new patio. They are absolutely great to work with! Description of Work: I purchased a retractable awning from Solarus for $3500. I ran into several issues. The first is that when the awning came, it was the wrong color. Even though I told them the color was not what I ordered, they mounted it anyway, and then told me they couldn't help me because it was then considered used. The second is that I questioned why the installer (the owner's somewhat arrogant-acting son) only used 3 brackets to mount the awning to the house, when the salesman had said I need 4. The installer insisted he knew what he was doing so I didn't question it further. Each mounting bracket is secured to the house with 2 bolts. After about 4 months, the bolt heads popped off of both bolts on the right-hand bracket, causing the awning to separated from the house on one side. Solarus came back out and had to move the bracket to a new location and re-secure it to the house. This was done as warranty work. A year later, the bolt heads on the left-hand bracket have popped off as well. Solarus will not perform this work as warranty work, even though it is my firm belief that had they used 4 brackets, as the salesman recommended, and had they used high quality bolts, this would not have happened on either occasion. Solarus has said that they will come back out and replace the broken bolts for a fee of $75 to cover the materials, and will not charge me for labor. This is a pure lie, since the 2 bolts that need replacement do not cost $37.50 each. The company should stand behind its installation. Several times, I asked to speak to the manager or the owner, but was never allowed to do so. I left several messages for the owner to call me back, but he never did. This company does not believe in good customer service.
