Excellent Customer Service!!!!!! Was prompt and detailed everything about the system without any high pressure sales! For that reason I plan on doing some upgrades with remote climate control capability. I will only use Holmes. Great work and customer service and responsive! Many other businesses should practice this level of customer service!

The owner, Bart, came and checked everything out. I knew nothing about duct cleaning. He checked and told me it was not necessary. I would strongly recommend him to others. He was honest and ethical!!!

Provider did not clean the vents as agreed to. The inspection was as agreed to. I expected the provider would vacuum the vents or clean them with a brush. Not Done. Grade= C.

No cold air? No problem. Call Bart Holmes. He's honest, knowledgeable, professional and very nice to work with. I will not hesitate to purchase a new system from him when my old one finally gives out.

Having moved from the north and really knowing no contractors in s. florida, have primarily used Angies list for numerous contractors/medical providers etc.. So in this particular instance my ac was not blowing cold however it was working.. after checking the list i found that Bart @ Holmes cooling had excellent reviews.. Although i called him mid morning he said he would,schedule permitting, try and get to me that day... he said he would keep me posted and he did,, called 2x to advise me if and what time to expect him.. upon his arrival he took a quick look diagnosed the problem and walked me thru not only what it was but what i could do in the future to avoid needing service,of this type in the future !! Surprising at the very least that someone would tell you how not to use their service but he took the time to explain what i could do to prevent this problem recurring and certainly something that i could do !! nice to find an honest guy that is interested in saving you money while helping you !! I certainly agree with all the prior reviewers of this company (especially the owner Bart) and if i have any other problems with my system in the future he will be my first and no doubt my only call !!

He was very helpful. We just bought our house and wanted things checked out. He was late but he called multiple times to let us know and since he accommodated our late request it wasn't a problem. He was very friendly and professional. He informed us of a few issues that would need to get fixed but there was no hard sell.

I'm ashamed to say I don't remember the last time I had my a/c serviced. All I can say is that Bart was here for 2 hours and gave my unit the works. He was great! He gave me some suggestions and instructions and when he left it was purring like a kitten. Couldn't beat the price for what he did. I will absolutely call on him again and for sure would recommend him. He was right on time even though I was given a time of "around noon on Friday". "Around noon" turned out to at AT noon. Punctual, polite, professional gentleman.

Purchased an AL Deal for A/C maintenance. Provider was late, but kept me up to date on when he would arrive. The prior appointment went long and I am located on the outside edge of his service area. He did a good job and was more thorough than the last AL A/C service deal I bought only 2 or 3 months prior. He was engaging and fully explained what was going on with my A/C.

After our fan motor shut off, we reached out to Holmes in light of the wonderful service he provided us with our prior HVAC project. Given his expertise in his craft, he was very knowledgeable and informative as well as persistent in his endeavor to diagnose the issue. After diagnosing the issue, Holmes was very accommodating to our budget and worked with us to find a specialist that could repair the motor with same care and guarantee Holmes delivers in his work. We will continue to work with Holmes for any of our HVAC needs indefinitely.

It went very well. Before they got there he wasn't able to come because there was an urgent business and he was able to talk us through the problem we were having so that was very nice and when he got there that was very helpful. He cleaned up the system and he adjusted everything. It was excellent, very friend and courteous service and really he was very helpful.

Everything well extremely well, Bart was very professional, he gave me various tips to get the best performance out of the unit. He even showed me the correct way to hose/wash the filter. [Way to go Bart]. Keep up the good work. He is in my neighborhood, just down the street but i would not have know about him hadn't been for Angie's List. His wife provides good customer service.

Bart was so awesome! He came to service the AC units at my new house. He also provided an overall inspection of the health of the units, helped me pinpoint the right size for my different filters, and gave me tons of helpful hints on how to maintain the AC and ducts during remodeling and afterwards. He is so full of knowledge on all aspects of AC and duct work. You can tell he really cares about doing a great job and helping the customer. Will use him every time I need AC or duct cleaning!!

On time, he was very efficient and helped fix drainage pipe of a/c unit. one month later, the A/c broke and over the phone he walked me through what was wrong and how to fix it over the phone. So basically the guy helped me without having to make a service call or charging me. I call that an honest guy willing to help

We had initially talked with other contractors, who said that we needed a whole new duct system for $3600. Bart came in and did a thorough inspection of our attic. Unlike most contractors, Bart described in detail what our problems were and how he would fix them. He spent time answering all of my questions in a clear, concise way. They showed up on time, and spent several hours working. When they were done, they showed me everything that they did. I am very happy that I found Bart and will definitely use him in the future for any A/C, Heating or duct work problems.

We awoke to a broken air conditioner so I called Bart at 7am and we received a return call within 15 minutes. He was onsite by 8am and had us up and running the same day with a new outside unit. Bart gave us several options ranging from fixing the 8 year old system to replacing the both inside and outside units. He was knowledgeable, professional and we absolutely felt we were in good hands. Bart has integrity and I would absolutely use him again.

The house was 80's degrees . I searched through Angies list for an AC technician. The Mr. Holmes company was called and we made the appt, after calling Mr. Holmes reporting that AC stop working after a power outage. the house and reported the issue. when he came on site he explained the situation who was polite and accommodating. He was at the home a couple of hours later. He diagnosed the problem which turned out to be capacitor. The AC was functioning again and I was very happy with the professionalism of Bart. I would highly recommend Holmes for any AC issues and will use them in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. They came out soon after I bought the deal.

He was great. He came out and did a great job. He took care of everything and we were very happy with it.

I have only the best things to say about Mr. Holmes. I called him on a Friday night .. he answered the phone and we made arrangements for him to come Saturday morning. He did not charge extra for the weekend visit. He spent time explaining many things to me and he thoroughly cleaned my drains and serviced my air handler. He also cleaned my air vent and gave me lots of useful info. I would highly recommend him!!!! He is a great find.

Bought a new home in December of last year. In the inspection report it was noted that we had an older A/C system. Over the past few months noted that the A/C was cool and thought it should be colder, and was meaning to get a seasonal service. Finally pulled the trigger due to an Angies special. I called for an inspection on thursday through the ad. Well low and behold I come from work on friday to a less than cool home. I found the air handler froze up. I thawed the unit replaced the filter restarted the system to no avail. Bart arrived the following day, he inspected my unit and showed me that my whole unit (installed in 2000) had completely eroded away including the compressor and quite surprised it lasted as long as it did. I have a heavy mechanical background and understand what I see and what I saw was obvious. Bart gave us several options but the most cost effective was a complete replacement. He also gave us several options in new units and told us to shop around giving pro pointers as to watch out for. Found units a little cheaper but didn't have a comfort level that we developed with Bart. At the end of the week the whole A/C system replaced and my house is a constant 76 degrees . Love the new simple thermostat. Bart is a Owner operator and relies on his reputation. With larger companies you get a service tech who may not have vested interested in the company, or may rely on sales commissions to supplement their pay. Bart takes his time and does it right, after my system was installed he still spent over an hour in my attic tweeking until he felt comfortable the system was at it's peek performance. Holmes Cooling and Heating will be my first choice when it comes to servicing my new A/C system.

Used the Angie List Big Deal for an AC Tune Up and cleaning. Mr Holmes was very professional and did a great job. He cleaned out the drain line and checked that everything was in good working order. He identified some issues for me to watch in the future and gave me solid advice that I could leave it be (it was not affecting operation at this time) until a problem occurs rather than try to upsell me another service prematurely. I was pleased and would use him again.

Mr Holmes was on time. He solver a water leakage that I had from the drain of the air handler, and showed me how to prevent the problem in the future. He also checked the air conditioner. I found him to be very professional and helpful.
