I called Bart, the owner and explained the sounds I heard and he immediately knew the problem. He was upfront and honest with me and told me that if he came out at 7:30pm, it would be an emergency visit cost and they would not be able to fix the system without the parts. And to save me some money, if I could hold on until the next morning at 9am, he would have someone there to fix my system. And he stood by his word. Even though, it was hot, and miserable, he had a guy at my home at 9am the next morning. Steve came, he was nice, very professional and he had my air running an hour later. Bart also called to make sure that I was satisfied with the job and that everything was ok. That is something I have never experienced with any contractors. Follow-up calls. That was new to me. This company is one of a kind.

It went great. Our normal A/C guy was unavailable so we just found Bart on Angies List. He came over right away late on a Friday afternoon. He stayed for 3 hours trying to fix my problem and didn't leave until he was sure the job was completed. I really appreciated this, as I had told Bart, we were having guests over the next day.

Fist time customer with Holmes and I would not hesitate to recommend. Mr. Holmes was courteous and attentive to my call. Service was quickly scheduled and on time. The service call was preceded by telephone call to let me know Steve the serviceman was on his way. Steve was courteous and personable and took the time to answer my questions. He spent a considerable amount of time going over the outside and interior units. I will use them again, and highly recommend.

It was alright. I wasn't comfortable with him. He is a talker. He tried to sell me so many things. He was pretty quick. On the scale of 1-10, it was a 7. It was a good price.

It went excellent! Bart was always on time and always called ahead to check that the appointment was still a good time for us. He checked our entire A/C system and, although it was all good, he told us what specific things he was looking for. When we noticed the A/C in the master bedroom was not as cool as we would like it, he had a new duct line put in to fix the problem. I would highly recommend Bart and his team for any A/C system need.

I was so impressed with my service. Bart is a true gentleman and I have the utmost confidence and respect for his work. (I know,I know sounds like a fake review) but I had a bad a/c guy come to my house about six months before for the same problem and he made me feel stupid for not being able to articulate the problem. Was at my door in 30 minutes, diagnosed the problem in seconds and even showed my husband how to keep it from happening again!

Great! Bart came to meet my husband at our home we just bought and as it was empty for a while and smelled a bit musty. He cleaned our units and ductwork making it fresh for us, and my husband thought he was awesome! Bart was very honest - we really trusted him, and he did a great job and was very friendly. Would definitely use him in the future and would recommend him 100%

Called Bart Holmes on Sunday afternoon when the Goodman AC he installed 6 months ago had a problem. He was out of town visiting family, but still took the call. Together we did some troubleshooting on the phone and figured out that it was a faulty thermostat. A few hours later, on SUNDAY EVENING, a member of his exceptional crew arrived and installed a replacement thermostat, making certain that all the tech settings were accurate. That's what I call excellent SERVICE! Bart Holmes and crew have installed two AC systems for me in the past 6 months, one for my home and the other for my rental unit. I highly recommend him for his expertise, reliability, good nature and wonderful SERVICE!

I had a drip in my air conditioner. Another provider (yesterday) who is not on Angie's list told me I had a coil problem and would likely have to change my unit (after he wanted to charge me $175 to clean the coils) and if that didn't work, he wanted to replace the unit. I wanted a second opinion and called Holmes and explained what the first provider said. Steve came and examined everything thoroughly (checking the lines and the units outside and in). He cleaned a back-up drain line and restored my unit to normal, also advising me with good tips about other things along the way. He explained everything to me about how the condenser works, why the drip was occurring, why I didn't need to (and shouldn't) pay to clean the coils on a unit that was the age mine was (after I asked him if I needed them cleaned). in sum, he was the essence of professionalism and there to FIX the problem, not create problems. Steve was polite and professional and completely won me over. I highly recommend Holmes on all levels. THANK YOU STEVE.

The owner of the of the company is nice and he liikes to know his customers. I had a slight issue and he called and made it right. The work I had done seems great quality cause I havent had any issues so that makes me happy

It went rather well. Bart is a sweet man who is eager to educate you on your ac/heating units and to make sure you understand everything that is going on and what he can do to remedy it. He came in the first time and tuned up one AC unit that wasn't running well. The second time he and another worker came out and replaced a large AC unit and blower and replaced 4 thermostats. It was done in a clean, fast, efficient manner without any hiccups. I am very happy with the overall service we received. I would definitely use this company again in the future. I thought it was a little pricey, but I'm unfamiliar with the cost of a/c replacements in Florida. I'm going by how much it cost to have a different one replaced in AZ. However, because of my confidence in Bart Holmes, I'd use this company again in a heartbeat.

Very prompt, quick and diligent. They even replaced additional capacitor and breaker which they found to be faulty after their initial assessment, for free, since they had already quoted their price. Overall, great guys ... would highly recommend.

I called and spoke directly to Bart Holmes explaining that my upstairs a/c unit was blowing out warm air and that I needed to schedule an appointment for him to come out to look at my unit. To my surprise, Bart asked me questions about my unit and had me go and look at the outside compressor and then the breaker. It turned out that one of the breakers had tripped and I was able to reset it. Not only did he save me a service call, but also we will now be feeling much more cooler and more comfortable. Bart was very polite and absolutely helpful. I will be sure to use this company when we really do need a service call.

We have a brand new Goodman Air Conditioner that Bart Holmes installed for us. We have had it for three months and it works wonderfully blowing cold air nonstop, with no problems at all!... Then just yesterday the condenser failed and it was only blowing air but it wasn't cold. I got on the phone last night and Bart said he would be down here in the morning as soon as he could. Bart showed up right on time. And it was before our house even got too warm! It turned out there was some electrical wiring that had gotten corroded because I didn't know better and set my pool chlorine right next to the electrical wiring. It was of no fault of our new Goodman system though. Goodman is an excellent product and is already saving us money on our elecrical bill. We are very thankful for Holmes Cooling and Heating and of the Excellent service of Bart Holmes!

I loved Holmes. I would give them all A’s and I would use them again. They were very prompt and also very honest.

Mr. Holmes was available the next day and followed up 30 mins before the appointment. He quickly found an issue with the freon and filled it up. This also fixed another condensation issue I was seeing inside. I strongly recommend Bart Holmes.

Bart was great he checked the unit inside (air handler) and outside (compressor)..he found a problem with the circuit breaker and fixed it...this is my 2nd contract with Holmes and I always find him to be cheerful and honest in his work. I would recommend him to anyone..I would NOT use anyone else...he is the real deal down to earth person..... thanks Bart Holmes

This guy is great. Most honest guy in the business in my opinion. I was shocked by the level of service I received from Bart. He even walked me through some stuff on the phone afterwards about a couple weeks later at no cost. Told me to call him whenever. I recommended him to my father - in - law and he had just as many great things to say. A+ provider.
