Three years ago, we had all our floors updated. We selected a Mohawk carpet with a 20-year warranty that was guaranteed to not stain or show wear. We followed the care and cleaning requirements stipulated in the warranty, yet the carpet started to show stains and wear in just 2 years. We called Capitol Carpet & Tile, and they were great to work with. They battled with Mohawk over the course of several months and were finally successful in getting them to replace our carpet. We couldn't have done it without them.

First I would like to mention that we had a great experience with our sales person Charlie. He went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted and what would work best for our staircase. He personally came to the house to measure and let us bring the sample boards from the showroom to see how it would look with our existing tile flooring and new paint. The initial scheduling and installation went fine as well. Everyone came on time and called when they said they would to confirm the appointment. The installers were in and out pretty quick and the installation was acceptable. Our real issue with Capital came when we started noticing some of the carpeting on the risers coming loose. No big deal, things happen. We called to schedule a warranty repair. In normal circumstances we are only available on weekends, they said that the installation crews were about 2 weeks out if we wanted a Saturday, understandable. They called the next day and said they had an opening on Friday. I told Capital's office that I just happened to have my electrical contractor on site between 1:30pm and 4:30pm. They told me that they would call before they came to make sure someone would be there. The installer showed up at our door about 10am without a prior call. Of course no one was home. He called me and I said that I told the office no one would be at the house until about 1:30pm. He said he couldn't do the repair we had to reschedule. My wife called Charlie to tell them what happened and he basically said he has no control over the installers. The scheduling office called back a few minutes later and we rescheduled the appointment for Saturday 5/23. I was planning on being at the house most of the day anyway due to other work. They called on Thursday 5/21 to confirm and told me the installer would call me by 10am to give me a time frame. My phone is on my person at all times and I was home all day I received no call and no one came by. Charlie, our sales rep, followed up 5/28 to see if everything was ok with the warranty work. I told him "no one called or showed up. I can't take time off to wait for an installer and I don't want to give up another day off waiting around for someone to come and fix the carpet, I'll make the repairs myself." He apologized and said he would contact the office. Bottom line is, this is probably a fluke occurrence and people do make mistakes. I actually chose Capital based on Angie's List reviews. The carpet is good, the installation is ok (except for the bubbling risers and a couple of visible attachments) and Charlie at the Royal Palm Branch was great to work with. My issue lies with the communication of the installers and scheduling office. I can't tell anyone that they were horrible or not to use this company, I just had an unpleasant experience in the end.

We purchased carpeting for our bedroom. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and provided samples for us to take home. Selected carpet was delivered to store within a couple of days. The install went without a hitch. Installers called ahead and were on time. They worked very quickly and cleaned up after. Very pleased with our selection.

They were okay. They did the job that they said they would do. I had to negotiate to get a good price.

They did a wonderful job. They had a very wide selection. The salesman was wonderful. We like the variety and the way they presented themselves. They're extremely professional and responsive.

We highly recommend Capitol Carpet & Tile located in Royal Palm Beach. Charlie, the sales associate, was very helpful. He took the time to explain the pros and cons between carpet and tile flooring. After discussing the fact that we have four small dogs, we decided to go with tile. The scheduling of the installation was hassle free. Their installer, Hector, was very professional and did an exceptional job! Overall we are very pleased with Capitol Carpet & Tile and recommend them to anyone who is in the market for tile.

Charley is very helpful and gave us a few choices for our project. The Installer are great and very crafty on difficult spaces.

Couldn't use ... prices not in our budget ... store and salesman very nice.

Charles showed me samples I found one It was just what i was looking for purchased it and 1 week latter it came in Charles called set up a date for installation the installer was on time and did a excellent job over all very pleased.
