Abe Able Air Conditioning and Appliance Service

This has been the worst ever. 1. I thought angies list is supposed to be made out of respectable companies providing supposedly "The Best" service. I first called this company 1 month ago when he came out the first time the washer actually worked so he didn't check it. Which is fine I paid the $75 fee And he explained I had 90 days to call back if the washer did it again. I call them back because the washer did it again and that's when everything went down hill. 1. He came out 1 day after the day of the appointment and the day of the appointment they didn't even called me to let me know they weren't coming in fact i called their office to find out why no one was here yet. And even when he got here he couldn't figure what was wrong with it so he looked for videos that would tell him what was wrong with my washer. He said he had to order a sensor and if the sensor came in the next day he could probably come by otherwise he would come Saturday. Saturday they were supposed to be here before 3pm and is now 4:30pm and nothing so I went in the shower when I came out of the shower I had a missed called which had about 10min since I had missed it so I called back just so they tell me that I had taken to long to call back so now I had to wait till Monday. Is now Monday they were scheduled for anytime before 3pm. About 3:30pm I got a call saying that he was on his way and one hour and a half later he shows up changed the sensor and left Is now Tuesday and the washer still doesn't work ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Now I have to call back and deal with them again THANKS ANGIES LIST

I called other appliance repair services, one was from an Angie's list Band of neighbor. Once I told the the make and model they all said they did not repair the type of microwave I had. I found Abe and Able online they said they would come out, which he did. Only to tell us that the main board was bad and needed to be replaced. But it was expensive, which was the main reason why the other repair services said they would not attempt to fix the model I had. I believe Abe and Able knew this before they came out but wanted the $75 fee. But they did say the fee would be deducted from the labor if we fixed the microwave. So I was fine with that. We decided to just buy a new microwave instead of that expensive part. I called Abe and Able to install the new microwave to make sure they would apply the $75 towards the install. They said they would so I made an appointment. We scheduled a date, but he couldn't give me an exact time, just said he would call before he came. I waited almost the entire day and when it got late I called spoke to someone who said they would contact him and have him call me back. He did not call. I had his cell number from the first visit so I called and left a message and he did not return my call until the next morning. Well by then we had contacted the Angie's list repair service to see if they would install the microwave. They gave us the name and number of an installer they use and he came out the same day to do the installation and it was on the weekend. This is why I highly recommend Angie's List to everyone. They refer really good professional people.

We've used him twice. A universal in a washer and this issue. He did what he said he would do.

I called the vent cleaning person he recommended. This person was GREAT. he identified that I had the wrong attachment going to the wall and it was filled with water, which was preventing the dryer from allowing the heat to ventilate. Once he left, everything worked fine. I reported this to Abe Able's rep and he remained steadfast in his suggestion that I replace the second heating element. Thank goodness the vent cleaning person fixed the issue because it's been almost a month since I paid $218 towards repairing the heating element. He returned only to tell me he could not move the dryer by himself (he'd been there already!) and that he would need to come back the following Saturday. It puzzles me that he wouldn't know he needed help the first time he visited. In addition, the vent cleaning guy was able to move the washer and dryer without help. I am not happy with this service at all and wished I had known to call the vent cleaning person first! All I can say is thank goodness my dryer is currently working.

Made an appointment & took time off from work to be home. I was told by their dispatcher and a technician confirmed later that he would be at the house between 9:00am and 1:00pm. Never showed up, no phone call to explain why he'd be running late, if at all. Calling the office, I had been put on hold for an unreasonable amount of time. Won't ever use this company.

The worker was prompt, pleasant and did a great job. He really took care and pride in doing the job. He took the time to show me how to care for my machine. He finished the job very quickly and I would definitely recommend this company's services.
