The company had the best price, so we went with them after their estimate. The man measured the yard and estimated the price, which we agreed to. Then, after installing half of the fencing, I got a call saying that the measurements they did were wrong and that it would cost me more for them to finish the job. What would I do? Half of it was cemented into the ground! I couldn't have half of a fence! I think they engaged in a bait and switch by estimating the lowest, then springing the increased price on you halfway through the job when you can't turn back. It was insulting to be told that my yard somehow grew between the estimate and the installation.

They were great. They did the installation exactly as promised and the final product is fantastic. There were three workers and they were professional. The fence looks like it was just installed yesterday. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

I called for an estimate on Monday (8-8-11) and didn't get a call back until Wednesday evening. I was told that they would look at the property on Thursday and have an estimate emailed to me that evening. This is Saturday (8-13-11) and we haven't heard anything from this company. No phone call or email estimate. We will be selecting another company to install the fence.

Overall it went OK. Viking sub'd the job out last minute to another contractor and they missed the fact it was not to be a shadow box style fence and they required more material to finish. I ended up paying for the added material as well. The contractor stated they couldn't stay on the job if they had to acquire additional material due to their mistake.

I think their installers were really shoddy and second-rate. We just found a piece of our old fence in the neighbor's yard yesterday. The salesman was great. The product turned out okay. The installers broke our irrigation system. They didn't bring the glue for the top. It's a vinyl fence. It looks like a picket fence and you have to glue the in-posts on. They wanted to leave our fence in a wave but my 77-year-old husband went out and said that they couldn't do that. They said that they were not paid to dig a place to put the fence. We had a little bit of an upward hill in between two of them. My husband asked them to give him the shovel and told them that he would dig. They were a little bit embarrassed and they dug and made the fence even. My husband went down to the home improvement store and bought the glue to glue the tops on. I don't know if they returned it to him. The first windy day part of them blew off. He went out and found out that they only glued a couple of them. He ended up gluing them on. If he had not called and complained to the salesman and the owner of the company or whoever the lady is that took the information, we probably wouldn't have got that done. It was pathetic. Their price was right on when we compared it to everybody else. They wanted a check but my husband refused to do that. We paid by credit card so we could revoke if something else went wrong. I think the installers were not professional at all. It took us a couple of weeks to find all the leaks in the irrigation system that they caused. It was just a mess. The actual product itself was very good. The fence itself was good. It's a good product. The salesman was pretty right on. Had they not intervened, I am not sure what would have happened. The installation, the destruction to our property, the things they didn't do, and the lack of preparedness can totally ruin a company. If they replace those people, they might have a good product. We have fixed everything now. I don't want them on my property again. After our bad experience with the fence, we haven't done anything else. I just can't even deal with it and I certainly don't want my husband dealing with it.

They did a good job. I wasn’t happy at first because of a misunderstanding with the company not returning my calls but the owner ended up calling back and rectified the whole problem. He went out of his way to give good customer service.

We were very pleased with their workmanship, which was excellent. They were punctual and professional. They stayed within the price that we were promised.
