Timely communication from the owner of the company to schedule the job. The owner himself arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and date and completed the work himself. He ended up having to use a few more parts to do the job properly and when I offered to cover the cost of the parts, he turned me down. Based upon my first experience with the company, I subsequently hired Space Coast Electric to install a new breaker panel as well. That too was a great experience. I have no complaints (except maybe the cost, but electricians don't come cheap) and would recommend them!

They were awesome! Took care of everything including coordinating with FPL, obtaining the permit, scheduling the inspector, and all in one day. Big job and the house was only without power for a few hours during the work. These guys rock!

Extremely well. I called early on Monday, call returned ten minutes later. Visited by Bill an hour later to scope out what was needed. Work scheduled for 1:00pm the following day. Electrician arrived 10 minutes early and 30 minutes later the task was completed. Outstanding response to my need! Will use them for future electrical needs and highly recommend Space Coast Electric to anyone needed such services.

Relatively new to the area, we looked to Angie’s List to locate an electrician to help us with adding and updating lighting in our home. Satisfied with what we read about Space Coast Electric in Rockledge, Florida, pleased and impressed by our dealings with the company, we wanted to add an endorsement that truly described their excellence: Our call to them to request an estimate resulted in a promise to visit the next day that was kept; how nice and rare to receive a contractor at the day AND TIME that we expected. In our home, Bill Burton listened to our intentions and creatively provided suggestions for improvements to our vision. Beyond considerate was when Bill told us he would send our estimate next week, as this week was busy for him. I suggest that no one minds waiting for service if he or she is honestly told how long the wait will be. By the way, the estimate arrived the next day. Bill’s estimate was detailed and reasonable; it met the prediction of my husband, a person familiar with the construction industry. It is no surprise that Bill and his helper, Eric, arrived promptly at 8 on our appointment day to do the work. Respecting our property, they covered countertops and cut (many, but less than we had originally envisioned) precise holes in walls and installed attractive quality fixtures that looked original to the home. What quality work! And, what a careful job they did in cleaning up after their work. This is an outstanding, quality company, and my husband and I, who have had dealings with a variety of contractors over the past six months, would and will recommend them to our friends and family with high praise.

I don't know how service could have been any better. Professional, on time, on budget, excellent commication, and the use of technology to bill and pay is a nice touch. If you need electric work done in Brevard County, at a fair price, with a customer first attitude - Bill and Space Coast Electrial should be you only stop.

From initial estimate visit to job completion, they made me feel like family. They stay busy because their rates are so good, so plan ahead if you plan to hire them for a project...

We are a property manager and depend upon being able to send repair services, have the service provider contact our tenant and make an appointment, use basic fixes to restore services, charge reasonable prices, and invoice in a timely manner. Bill does all of these things reliably. We are please to have him service our rental properties.

I called on Thursday afternoon, 13Oct16, and spoke to Bill Burton, the owner, and explained what I needed and was quoted a very fair price so I agreed. Bill told me he would be at my house at 0800 Monday. Bill and his men arrived on time and went to work. They finished in what seemed no time at all, cleaned up and replaced anything that was moved while they worked. I can't begin to say how very pleased I am. Everything was done very professionally and the electricians were very pleasant to deal with. After going through Hurricane Matthew and its aftermath I'm going to buy and have a Standby generator installed and connected to the breaker panel and I fully intend to use Bill and Space Coast Electric again to handle the job and on any other project I have requiring an electrician. Use these people folks.....you won't go wrong and you won't be sorry you did.

Great troubleshooting, found the problems, fixed them right away, answered all questions , was on time, courteous and professional. They are now the folks I will call first in the future. Johnny was the pro that did an outstanding job

Very good. I did not know a 90.00 charge would be for when they went to get the supplies for me though. However they did the best work and were very well groomed and professional people would hire them again.

He was very responsive when I mentioned flickering lights and came out the next morning after my 4:30 pm call. Very thorough and methodical in his approach. He disassembled lights to see where they were defective, checked switches to make sure the wiring was not loose. He identified the problem as two defective LED fixtures. He's pretty efficient timewise and completed everything within the hour service charge. Even though I asked him if I needed to replace any switches or breakers, said no that they were in perfect condition. I like the fact that this gentleman does not try to sell things you don't need. I will use him in the future.

I replaced what I thought was the correct breaker, but it continued to trip. Bill Burton from Space Coast Electric was offering a special for Angie's List members - $135 for a two-hour service call. He returned my email almost immediately, and scheduled a date - today. He arrived about two minutes AFTER the power to my house went off! He inspected what he could, replaced the wall receptacle, tightened up the lugs in the breaker box, and said call me if you still have problems. He said he'd send me a bill if what he had done cleared up the problem. Well, when the power came back on, the problem still wasn't fixed, so he came back almost immediately, and began some more in-depth trouble-shooting. He quickly found the problem: I had replaced the wrong breaker! So, he put a new breaker in - and now my washer is washing all the way through the cycle. Bill is courteous, prompt, professional and reasonable. It was a pleasure meeting him.

great service, came early would use them again

We met for the initial estimate of the job and scheduled the appointment for installation. Installer was early and began the project as soon as he arrived. The project was complete in no time in a very professional manner. The date of this installation has been estimated.

Okay that is a trick question, he came out and he did the panel he had to upgrade the panel so it was more expensive than the big deal and then when he was working on that we hire him for a couple of other projects and he wine up actually giving us money back for damages he caused when he was there. He was professional, not overcharge for services that you can do yourself a lot cheaper.

Jimmie arrived on time, came in and made friends with my dog, checked out the scope of the job and got right to work. I thought I needed GFI outlets as there were none in either bathroom, he discovered they were already protected and traced the circuit back so I knew the origin. Changed out two light fixtures and stayed a little longer when we couldn't get one to work (not his fault, manufacturer's defect.) Plan to use them shortly to replace old tube fluorescent fixtures in the kitchen to LED recessed per his suggestion. Couldn't be more pleased with the service provided.

Arrived ontime as scheduled, did a nice neat job using good quality products.

The owner called me back after a weekend voice mail and had Johnny there the same day. I had previously used this company in December for another replacement. Very informative on what they would do and were doing during the installation. Cleaned up afterwards. Will be calling them again in the near future to change out our remaining three fixtures.

The initial phone call placed early morning was answered promptly by the owner. He dispatched his man who arrived as promised around lunchtime. The repair man was as polite and well-spoken as the owner. He resolved the problem with ease and then proceeded to be certain that all other possible problems be inspected. I would have no hesitation in calling this company again and would highly recommend them for any electrical services you may need.

The electrician was experienced, professional, and showed up on time (0800) to start the task. He removed and replaced the panel efficiently, working non-stop until we had full power back on by (1300). The job was completed professionally and the job site cleaned up prior to his departure.

Bill Burton, owner and master electrician, did the work. He came recommended by a carpenter I had do some work recently. I called Bill and he answered the phone immediately. I described the needed work and he gave me a rough price estimate over the phone, then set up an appointment to come out. He called the day the work was to be done to confirm, and showed up on time. Bill is a very affable person and easy to talk to. He did the work efficiently and effectively. He answered any questions I had without hesitation. His original estimate was $100-$125 to do the work, but it ended up being $134.50. I chalk the higher final price due to the fact that I asked a lot of questions, which took time to answer; also the fact that the original estimate didn't take into account installing the waterproof receptacle cover and closet light switch. Bill acted very professionally and did the work needed in a timely manner. He is my new electrical guy; I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.
