Vinny fixed our squeaky staircase and created a new storage space underneath the stairs in the process. The access panel he created from the sheet rock he had to remove looks great. He was easy to work with over the phone and we are very happy with the results.

Vinny and his son worked hard from start to finish, they did not take breaks. The largest front wall of the room had lots of petrified glue from paper past that was a bear to get off. They repaired lots of holes and 2 broken tiles in the window. In my opinion, they went above and beyond to do a good job. They reinstalled all electrical covers, reinstalled all window trim and cleaned up and removed all trash from premises. They communicated well, told us what they were going to do and when and did just what they said. I would definately recommend Vinny's Home Repair Unlimited to anyone.

Vinny is great. Responsive and does quality work. No need to supervise. Knows exactly what he is doing. He has decades of experience and understands customer service. Best part, he's ideas are better then my own. Invaluable to have that kind of knowledge, experience and talent.

It went very well. Vinny and his son did all of the work themselves. They were prompt, coming when they said they would. They are pleasant to deal with and did excellent, neat work. We are very pleased with the results! The old hinges were beginning to pull out of the door trim because of rust exacerbated by the doors' location near the pool. The new hinges look great and make the doors seem like new.

The work went smoothly and efficiently. He was very knowledgeable and provided information on improving home maintenance along with completing the work.

All interactions with both Vinny and his son went very smoothly. He arrived at the scheduled day and time for an estimated and was prompt on the days he worked thru the list of projects. Both he and his son are friendly and courteous and even managed to handle working in the presence of my 3 dogs.As he finished each project on the list he immediately cleaned up each project area. The price was very fair and even with my changes to the list as he completed each task the final cost was just about spot on as his original estimate. The next time I need work done on my home I will not hesitate to call Vinny.

This was a job Vinny did for me, this time, last year. The room was initially a bedroom that I wanted to turn into a pilot's study. After we exchanged thoughts and ideas, we came up with a plan that sounded great and highly cost effective. My wife and son had bought me a desk for Christmas the year before, and around that we came up with a scheme. Some of my ideas Vinny frownd upon, but once he saw the outcome, was really pleased. With his great workmanship, my ideas turned out better than expected.

Vinny and his son Brandon are the best two workers my husband and I have had the pleasure to have in our house. I had a similar job performed in another home a few years ago and it was much more expensive and not as professionally done. Vinny is a perfectionist and his response time to your phone calls is close to immediate. He offers excellent suggestions when asked, and, often offers more cost effective suggestions than what you originally envisioned. They have done several projects in our new home and have become like family. They are genuine good, honest people.

Vinny and his son came out to repair the efforts another handyman did with a new vanity and rebuilt a shower valve. Excellent work, friendly and quick. Can't ask for more. Estimate for the work was honored at the end. Great team and plan to use them again soon.

Excellent. Vinny and his son Brandon were very responsive to my requests. They both worked hard (Vinny almost passed out while painting my pool deck in the July heat). Vinny went out of his way to save me money by recommending certain ways he could fix various issues without going all out. Their attention to detail is great and I plan to use them in the future. Also, Vinny did a lot of quality work for very little money.

I was exceptionally pleased with Vinnie?s Home Repair Unlimited. They spent a majority of this past week (i.e. 3 full days), replacing a couple of vanities in 2 bathrooms, adding tile, adding brand new wainscoting/chair rail/baseboard in the downstairs powder room, and hanging a small bathroom cabinet. The work involved completely tearing out a stereotypical florida built-in vanity in a small powder room. They repaired the dry wall around the area and textured the walls. The area where the built-in was removed, needed a couple of pieces of tile. Since I did not have any extra pieces that matched the original, I went out and bought some nice mosaic tile that complemented the original. It actually ended up showcasing the new pedestal vanity that they installed. They did a great job installing the tile that was needed to essentially ?patch? the spot that the built-in occupied. The work involved some very intricate craftsmanship to make it all look seamless. It involved re-routing existing plumbing since the original configuration did not quite match what was required by the new vanities. It involved adding the necessary woodworking to make the wainscoting and chair rail work with some walls that were not at all "square" in powder room. (In fact, I don?t think any of the existing walls were square to the floor at 90 degrees). It involved repairing some bad dry wall patching on my part, and it involved hauling a very heavy vanity floor model (with sink and quartz top already glued down) up a flight of stairs and into a master bedroom bathroom. I couldn?t have been happier with the quality of the work. But the thing that impressed me the most was their Quality of Service in terms of responsiveness and being fully dedicated to the job until it was completely finished. I don?t know how many times I?ve called up handymen/contractors only to have them return my call days or weeks later (or not at all). As well, once they started the job, they stayed until they were finished. They didn?t run off in the middle of the job working something else in parallel leaving my place in disarray like so many other contractors do. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. Very courteous, very professional, and did exactly what they were asked to do with high quality craftsmanship. It can?t get any better than that.

No work was performed - never heard from him again after interview on the property. If he wasn't interested he should have told me right then and there.

Vinny and his Son showed up at the promised time and discussed the installation with us. The job was performed completely, with skill and competence. The excellence of their work shows that they know what they are doing and doing it right the first time! Before they left they completely cleaned up. As far as this job goes; I couldn't ask for more, and to top it off his rates are fair.

I was hoping to have someone come out to my beach condo and replace the ceiling vent in the bathroom. It's an OLD building and this was going to require changing the size of the opening. Vinny came out, looked at the issues and suggested the existing fan housing was in good shape, but the motor was shot. Instead of replacing the whole unit, he suggested he look into finding a replacement motor. That motor is no longer made, but he was able to engineer a fix using currently manufactured product. Honestly, we went above and beyond for a relatively small job... VERY impressed with what I received and will most definitely contact Vinny again when the need arises.

Vinny completed the work listed above over the course of 4 days. He and his son, Brandon, arrived on time and were always ready to work. The work they completed was exemplary. This is what I have come to expect from them. I have used them in the past to complete several other jobs and have never been disappointed. They are trustworthy, personable, and very industrious. The price that is charged for each service is very reasonable. I would not trust the work that needs to be done in my house to any other person. Although it may take a while for him to fit you into his busy schedule, it is worth the wait. I highly recommend Home Repair Unlimited for all of your minor repairs and installations.

For the damaged gabled area: removed damaged stucco, removed rotted boards, replaced boards, covered area with tar paper, readied for stucco work. For rotted corner post: removed rotted post stand, replaced with new stand, adjusted post and frame to allow for proper operation of screen door, readied area for stucco work, reattached screening frame on that side of porch to floor, replaced screen door sweep and adjust for proper screen door closure. Overall an excellent job and I appreciated the attention to detail and professional work attitude. Highly recommend the service.

Vinny and his son Brandon arrived on a Saturday so we would not have to take off work. Vinny has always been extremely considerate and worked with our work schedules so we would not have to take of work. He texted us to give us his arrival time so he could accommodate our schedules. We found that very thoughtful. He also cleaned the window silts since they had dirt and did a wonderful job with the pool deck. When Vinny and Brandon were done in the pool area, they straightened every thing out and left the area pristine. They even rolled up a messy hose that we had lying around! Vinny is meticulous and pays attending to detail. The mirrors are hanging perfectly straight. He is also very respectful in the house and with our pets which is very important to us. Vinny and Brandon were here in January to hang closets and they did a very good job. They are very honest, considerate, thoughtful and go the extra mile. We will continue to use Vinny and Brandon. Vinny has done a wonderful job raising his son Brandon.

Did great job. Vinny was focused on doing the job right. Very precise in measuring for picture placement. Took extra steps to secure shelving in garage to allow for heavier objects. Offered good advice as well. Plan to have him back next month to do additional work. Fair pricing, high quality, easy to work with.

Vinny was terrific. He ended up needing to do more than expected, but was going to stay with the original price estimate because he wanted to be fair. I had to insist that I pay him for the extra work. His work was high quality at a fair price. He also bent over backwards to make things convenient for me, as I was doing the majority of this long distance, and even offered to be there if needed when other workers came over. Additionally, he was very sympathetic to my situation. I would highly recommend him to anybody needing handyman work in the Melbourne area.

Vinny was terrific! I was replacing the locks on a newly purchased home and realized that the door from the pool to the house needed to be rehung. Find someone on a Sunday afternoon?? Yeah right! First I called Home Depot for local handy men to help me out. I would have had better chances gambling in Vegas. So, I went to Angieslist and called Vinny, based on the great reviews. Maybe it was luck, because I happened to catch Vinny coming back from the north end of the county. He stopped by, rehung the door in a timely manner and assisted my wife in hanging a fan. Vinny knows Customer Service! I just wanted to express how pleased we were with Vinny. Thanks Angie

Vinnie and his son, Brandon, came to our daughter's 25 year old 2 bdr condo, which she was buying. The condo was in very good condition, but after 25 years, there was a good list of items to be addressed. Vinnie is very attentive to detail, and identified a few issues we had not noticed, which he added to his list to be completed. His estimate was reasonable, and we set up a date to do the work (the day after my daughter closed on the condo). Vinnie and Brandon arrived promptly and started work. My wife and I had added a couple of additional items, which they fixed at no additional charge. The repairs were all completed in one day, and the quality of the work was excellent !! Vinnie does a variety of different repairs, and all are really professional !!! We are extremely pleased with his work. It's great to see he is passing along both craftsmanship and customer service to Brandon.
