Vinny performed great work with attention to quality, which is very important. He even took the time to talk through alternatives together on a couple of challenging situations so we got what we wanted and not his best guess at it. Vinny also was courteous, professional, friendly and kept us informed.

Vinny answered his phone right away. He was booked for the day, but managed to work me in at the end of his day. He was very professional and came when he said and did what he was supposed to. He cleaned up thoroughly afterwards and charged a fair price.

It went great, he did the repair while we were traveling on vacation. Vinny took pictures and texted and emailed the progress while we were away. He explained exactly what he would have to do for the repair before he started. I would highly recommend him for any repairs and we will be using him in the future.

We had been trying for 2 weeks to have our old dishwasher removed and a new one installed. No one wanted the job, some said it couldn't be done, others said we would need to replace our granite counter top. Vinny came to see what needed to be done on Monday and said he would be back at the end of the week. Tuesday morning, he called to say his schedule had changed and he could come in an hour, which was great news. Vinny and his son arrived an hour later and went to work getting the old dishwasher out and putting the new one in, with not so much as a scratch on our wood floors, cabinets, or counter top. The dishwasher looks fantastic and runs great, and we cannot thank Vinny and his son enough. After that, they moved to our master bathroom where they fixed the shower knob that would not turn. We absolutely would recommend Vinny's Home Repair Unlimited, and will be using him for any other things that come up.

Fantastic! I confess I did NOT write a review the first time Vinny and his son/assistant Brandon were here last Spring because I was too lazy. They had successfully installed two new outdoor fans with light kits, attached a garden hose bracket and coated roof vents due to squirrel damage. And I was happy with the results. In both visits they were professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Vinny and Brandon explain HOW and WHY the task at hand, which is very helpful. They are trustworthy and responsible, and their rates are very reasonable. And they charge by the JOB, not by the HOUR! I'm looking forward to calling them again soon!

Great carpenter! Punctual everyday. Good prices and easy to work with. Vinny met with me about the work I wanted done and returned the following week with a design for a custom window seat. We agreed on the project and scheduled the time and the date of start. The project took the short side of 3 days. He removed the existing shelf/cubbie and identified a problem that could only have been seen after the shelf had been removed. He altered the construction plans and we were back in business. The window seat is beautiful with seamless construction and tremendous attention to the details. He explained the process of each phase of construction so that I understood. Each day he arrived on time and immediately started work. He and his son cleaned the work site everyday better than when they found it. I couldn't be happier with both Vinny and his son professionals all the way. I will be hiring them for future upgrades to my house. many thanks Vinny and son.

Vinny responded promptly and was very professional. He repaired the holes with quality work and attention to detail. He was accommodating when scheduling was made and kept me informed through the whole process which was completed in less than 2 days. Vinny did a great job!

Everything went great. Vinny and his son were amazing. They did everything they told us they would do. He made sure we were totally satisfied with the work.

Vinny and his son did a great job it took longer than estimated but that was mainly because unexpected issues requiring repair were discovered. When getting the house ready for sale, finding and repairing these was a good thing. Vinny kept us informed along the way, was professional and left the house cleaner than when he started. The interior of the house looks very nice and is now move in ready. I would like to hire Vinny to do work in our new home, but unfortunately it is not in his coverage area.

Vinny and his son Brandon showed up on time (very important to me). They looked at the sink and toilet to be installed to determine if they needed any additional parts before they started the installation. I had to leave for work, and a few hours later, Vinny called me to let me know they had completed the job and to explain that the sink and toilet needed to "set". Vinny made a point of letting me know that if I had any questions or concerns that I should call him. When I got home, I noticed that the installation was very professional, everything was cleaned up, and the old toilet was put in the garage (as we discussed earlier). I do have more future projects and I will be calling Vinny and Brandon. I'm very thankful that they do all types of home improvements. By the way, I love my new toilet and sink!!!

Excellent in all respects. I had been looking for a competent, versatile handyman for some time, and Vinny is my guy! He's the only handyman I've found who is qualified and capable to do both plumbing and roofing repairs. He and his son/assistant, Brandon, did a great job--on time, on price, on target. All work by Vinny and Brandon was done timely, and professionally. We have NO COMPLAINTS !!! Use Vinny and Brandon....They do quality work at reasonable prices.

All services were performed in a very professional high quality manner. Reasonably priced, responsive and high quality.

Vinny provided all the materials. It went better than expected. I did not think the fan would actually travel the distance to vent, but it did. Will certainly use his services in the future. Actually hope not to have to call anyone else other than Vinny.

Vinny and Brandon are a great team. They moved methodically to get everything on my list covered in a very efficient manner. They worked hard and stayed until everything was right.

I called Vinny and he returned my call within minutes. He said he was in the area and would be able to stop by within a couple hours. Sure enough, he and his son were at my office in no time at all. I didn't expect him to be able to make the repair at that time because the wood on the door was damaged. He looked at the job, said he would have to come back the next day and then explained how he was going to fix the door so he would be able to reattach the auto door closer. He made sure the arm on the door closer was zip tied so it wouldn't swing down and hit someone in the head, which was very thoughtful. Vinny said he would be back the next morning. He called first thing the next day and said he had an emergency plumbing issue to take care of and that he would be by my office early afternoon. He showed up as promised in the early afternoon, asked about using a back door so he wouldn't disturb the other businesses in the building and got right to work. I was very impressed that he said he had given the repair some more thought over night and decided on a better approach to make sure the repair held up over time. He and his son had the project done within 30 minutes, cleaned up their work area (including vaccuming) and were on their way. I loved that it didn't take him long and he was quiet as he was working. It probably took him longer buying the nuts and bolts at the hardware store than it did to finish the task. (That's where experience and forethought are well worth their weight in gold!) I would highly recommend Vinny and plan to use him again in the future...although he did warn me he's very busy and he's scheduling out several weeks in advance. I got very lucky that he happened to be in the area when I called him.

Vinny is like having a skilled neighbor come over and fix something. Really personable and works with you. He is now my go-to-guy. He professionally installed our wainscoting in the laundry room along with the railing and painted it. He saved me a bunch repairing rotted wood behind my pool gutter. Removing the pool screen gutter would have been $1,200 but Vinny was able to work behind it, replace the wood and paint it. Ended up perfect.

Vinny and Brandon removed and built two pressure treated wood decks. Vinny explained the planned project ahead of time detailing his plans as well as the quality of materials to be used. Workmanship was great. Attention to detail is Vinny's strong point. Left the job site clean and neat every day. Finished product is beautiful and extremely sturdy. He also won't take on a job he doesn't feel comfortable he can do a good job. We discussed doing some stucco repairs but after his further evaluation he explained to me that he was not the best guy to do it right and gave me a contact that specializes in that line of work. I highly recommend Vinny for any woodworking projects in your home.

Vinny and his son are consummate pro's in the service industry. They promptly return phone calls, show up when they say they will and give you an honest and fair assessment of the work to be done. The really do what they say they will do, respect your home, keep everything clean and treat the job like it was there own home. We were extremely impressed with them...and they are nice guys. We wanted to be able to have an exhaust vent over the stove that would vent outside. We also wanted to keep the microwave in the kitchen. So we found a microwave that had the ability to vent to the exterior. Unfortunately, we didn't have any of the duct work or venting in place so it all had to be installed. We had no idea how to do this and very little luck in finding someone will to take on this job...did I mention we have a concrete block home so a hole had to be created through the block. Where other said no, Vinny was willing to do the job and quoted me a very fair price. The day of the job went great...Vinny wound up having to chisel the block by hand. They did their best to keep the dust at bay as they worked to create a hole in the block...at times Vinny's son would hold a vacuum up to suck in the dust while Vinny was cutting the hole. All in all the work was done perfectly. The vent works great, the microwave was installed perfectly and the vent hood on the exterior looks great. We are extremely happy with Vinny's Home Repair Unlimited and have referred them to friends and family.

An outstanding job by Vinny and team! Very experienced and thorough through all phases of the job. Always cleaned up well and very punctual for every visit. We brag about his quality of work to all of our friends. We are scheduling more work for Vinny on the guest bath renovation.

As usual, Vinny and his son did a great job on a couple of home repair tasks. We also consulted him on a bunch of issues in our home. Vinny provided great advice on every single issue, and was very helpful. I would strongly recommend him.

My dishwasher overflowed and the water went under the cabinet and damaged the toe kick and base boards. I called Vinny and explained to him what happened. He told me the date and time he would come to give me an estimate. He was there the date and time he said he would come. I asked him if he could repair the toe kick and base board on December 7. Couple of days before he called to tell me he would be there at 10:30. He and his son showed up on date and time he promised. His work and cost were excellent. Vinny is also very good at answering the phone he answered the phone every time I called him.

It took several visits because the door had to be refinished but the work was completed in a more than timely manner and Vinny was always available on the phone to keep us up to date with when he would be able to complete the work. This was not our first job with Vinny and we knew if anyone could complete the work, he was the one! Vinny does exceptional work and we are so glad that we found him. On top of everything, he is a lovely person to boot.

Vinny was somewhat slow in responding to my initial call for service but called to say he had some time open up. He arrived in the time window he offered and quickly got the job done. He seemed familiar with the problems pocket doors often had and described what he intended to do. He worked professionally, put down drop cloth to protect the work area and cleaned up after himself. We are completely satisfied with the work and are having him do additional handyman work for us.
