I highly recommend G+G Roofing. Like most homeowners, I researched the local companies extensively. There were several that seemed quite reputable, but G+G stood out from the beginning. G+G is not a small company. They are heavily insured. They've been around for more than sixteen years. When I spoke with them, there were no unanswered questions. They had already answered them hundreds of times. It was clear they knew their business. They had just completed a roof replacement for a friend of mine. I inspected that work and found it to be excellent. The estimate they gave me was the best I received out of the fifteen I had requested. As I continued my research, I came across an issue common to several companies. That was; communication. Timely communication is an subject that is very difficult to put into perspective for this type of contractor. Imagine you are a top rated company like G+G with an A+ rating from the BBB. Over a matter of just a few days, a hurricane like Irma comes up the center of the state and destroys or damages more than 800,000 homes. Can you imagine how many calls you will be receiving? Some calls are for homes with severe damage, some are for minor damage. What type of coordination would it take to handle those hundreds of calls per day? This is something you need to take into consideration when evaluating a top rated contractor. Keep in mind the best ones are busy. That's a good sign. Another common item I noticed in reviews referred to the "composition" of the crews. I got to know the personnel that worked on my home. I was impressed. It takes special people to do this kind of work in Florida and do it well. The removal and underlayment people from G+G were quick and precise. The installer crew was no less than awesome. They sculptured my roof in metal. They were smart, experienced, and paid close attention to detail. They were good people. So per this date, I have now been able to inspect G+G's work closely on two homes; my friend's home, and my own. In both cases the craftsmanship is exceptional. Hopefully my review material along with the experience of having a reroof done will be of some help to others preparing for this kind of undertaking. Patience will be important throughout the process. Replacing a roof is a challenge involving weather, coordination, inspections, and detail. In my case, I feel lucky to have chosen G+G for the project.

The crew at G & G Roofing worked in a professional manner. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. I am extremely happy with our new roof. The office was also helpful with advise on color choices to match our new paint scheme. And the owner of G & G roofing was patient with me as I changed my mind several times with which grade of shingles and color of shingle I wanted to go with. He answered all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend G & G Roofing.

After Hurricane Michael, we waited 15 days for a company to come out and place a tarp on our roof. Our metal roof was peeled off by the hurricane and rain was expected that evening. We called and they were in the area. An hour after they left it rained throughout the night into the morning. We are so thankful to them in coming and placing the tarp. They were so professional and nice. We highly recommend!!

They were very professional and kept the jobsite clean everyday. Services were completed on schedule. I would highly recommend.

I just had a great looking new roof installed on my home. I was kept in loop on when the work was going to begin and when it was expected to be finished the entire time. Every employee I spoke to was very helpful. I recommend them to everyone.

I called several roofing companies for quotes and G&G sat somewhere in the middle range. They came highly recommended by several people I know in the construction industry. When I finally made my decision to use them they obtained my permit in 2 days time and because I had an active leak made me a priority. From contract to roof finish was exactly one week. They were prompt, professional, caring, addressed all of my concerns and completed my roof in a very timely manner. And it looks great too!!

Jimmy and his team were awesome and very helpful. Job went perfect and did a great job on the clean up. Would highly recommend and hire again.

My house is an unusual shape, round with a peaked roof. After 18 years and several hurricanes including Irma last year the roof needed to be replaced. G&G was recommended by the builder of the house. I had several quotes and G&G's was the most reasonable. They gave me an estimated timeline and actually completed the job a couple of weeks ahead of the estimate. The installation team showed up on time, worked long days, paid attention to the quality of their work, and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Since I'm selling the house the buyers hired a home inspection. The said the installation was excellent. He was very impressed. I will recommend them to anyone looking for any type of roof -- residential or commercial.

Great work done. Very professional. This is the only roofer to use. They tell you what is needed. No bull. Only roofer I would use or recommend.

While the start date of getting a new roof put on slid due to weather, the G&G crew started the roof tear-off on time. They were very thorough about what needed to be repaired. I met with the project manager, Jimmy O., onsite and he explained all that needed to be done and the associated costs. The crew had the roof dried in on day 1. The shingles were delivered in the afternoon on day 2 and the crew finished installing the shingles on day 3. The roof looks great and they left the yard with very little evidence that they had been there. I would not hesitate to use G&G again. Just understand that due to the amount of work they have and wrestling with the weather, the lead time from signing the contract to job completion can be awhile (mine took about 20 weeks but as good as they are, G&G can't control the weather!). I would rather have a quality job done right and it take longer to complete than to have an interior result.

we were referred to G&G roofing from one of their previous customers .All the employees were were professional and respectful to us and our property . The roofing crew worked long days to finish our roof in only 3 days .They cleaned up everyday and came back to recheck for nails and other debris several times . 5 star in our opinion .We would recommend this company Maggie & Steve T.

Work crews were prompt,quiet efficient and cleaned area up well. The project manager kept us well informed, was courteous and respectful. Would certainly recommend G&G Roofing to others.

Everything went great, workers showed up and tore off the old roof and got peel and stick down in case it rained in one day and shingled the whole roof the next day. Couldn't ask for a better company to come in and get the job done quick and with a quality finish. Not too many companies left out there today like this one.

The crew was awesome. Arrived right at 8am and stayed until dark. Came back next day and completly finshed roof. The crew was very respectful, punctual and cleaned up perfectly. No debris or nails left in yard. Roof looks amazing and couldnt ask for a better outcome. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone. Jimmy was very professional and easy to deal with as was ray and cody. Very awesome group of guys.

I cannot recommend this company. Too many problems occurred, and I can say they were allowed to happen, that simply shouldn't. The bottom line for me is that I would definitely not use this company again. This is a response to comments made to my review from 7/10/18, by the roofing company. Their response states to their knowledge there are no outstanding issues. Huge red flag. There were outstanding issues the manager knew about. Their response also states "the customer said he was satisfied at the job completion." Another huge red flag. I never said I was satisfied, in fact, the opposite. I have lowered my overall rating to F (from D) as a result of their response to my review. They seem quite disconnected from the customer experience. Angie's list doesn't make it possible for me to simply reply to their response and keep a thread going so I've posted this new review. My original review was posted 7/10/18. Angie's list emailed me right away saying they attached a service review form for me to complete. There was no form attached. I don't have time for all this. Just allow me to reply to their comments. I am extremely pleased with Jimmy Ollie (Manager), Raul (Supervisor) and their crews work to install a new roof on my home. They were amazing from start to finish. Jimmy, Codey, and the entire roofing crew were fantastic! Jimmy and Codey kept us informed throughout the process. The crew on the roof were extremely hard working, highly efficient, and very courteous. Their professionalism and diligence showed in everything they did-from showing up early, working steadily all day long, quiet/efficient breaks, and an superb cleanup at the end of each day! These guys were GREAT! Thank you for a job well done! We did have some hickups with the scheduling due to the volume of work needing to be done after the hurricane and also due to the rain here in Florida. It is understandable and the office did work through the issues. However, it was a bit troublesome and I believe G&G has learned from these struggles. All in all, we are very pleased with the work done by G&G Roofing and highly recommend them. If we ever need another roof or repairs we will call on them again!

From my very 1st interaction with Jimmy @ G & G Roofing i was treated with much respect & patient understanding to my emergency roof situation. Jimmy, Cody & the crew went far above & beyond, working diligently to replace my roof in a very quick manner--they kept in regular communication with me during entire process putting my worried mind at ease. the crew was very polite, they cleaned up after each phase of work & they did a super job in the final cleanup as well. i would absolutely recommend them!!!!

From the sales experience, through shingle tear off to complete shingle replacement, the employees did a nice job. Jimmy and Cody did a great job responding to any of my questions or concerns to make sure I was a satisfied customer.
