Estimates performed in professional manner.  Owner and team interested in doing a good job.  Frequent contact made regarding start and progress.  Tarps were laid out to protect yard.  They did a good job of cleaning up materials and not leaving personal debris around.  Job was completed quickly and thoroughly.

After getting quotes from multiple contractors for a metal roof we decided on G&G based on price and the good reviews on Angie's list.
We had a shingle roof and when the job started we thought we had to replace very little of the wood underneath. As the job progressed a large portion of the underlying wood had to be replaced. Ray made that much less painful than it could have been. As expected with any construction project there were some small issues that G&G addressed immediately when they were brought to their attention. The crew was easy to work with and I felt very comfortable having them do work on my house.
In the end the job looks great. I was nervous about going with mill finish galvalume but the end result looks better than the painted galvalume roofs in my area. I've had multiple neighbors give me compliments on it.
My homeowners insurance company has requested multiple documents to apply wind protection discounts from G&G and each time Ray has promptly responded to me with the requested documents. Very happy with G&G's service.

They showed up on time and provide a reasonable quote to complete the job.  We had to wait a few days for them to secure the tiles so I ended up going on holiday and was not there to view their work at time of completion.  I have to admit I was a bit nervous about not being there.  However, Ray was very understanding when informed I was on holiday and would pay him the following week once I returned to check the repair.  When examining the repair I could tell it was done by a professional and the problem had been solved.  
I now realize after dealing with a few other roofers in our area.  You either never hear from them again or they do not complete the job properly.  I should have gone on Angie's List from the start because G & G Roofing Construction completed the job on time, on budget, and correctly.  Thanks Ray!!

Very professional work. Exceptional attention to detail. Work took several days. Area being repaired  was made watertight overnight in case of rain. A lesser roofer would have put on a tarp and hoped it would not rain. Workers were extremely dedicated and put in the hours necessary to get the job doe correctly. No shortcuts were taken.

Crew of five people arrived early and stayed late.  On first day removed old shingles and tar paper, replaced rotted plywood in a few spots, put down self adhering underlayment and generally made ready to lay new shingles.  On second day the same crew arrived early and began laying new 130 mph dimensional shingles on the house and 2-ply granulated cap sheet on the flat roof.  (Shingles and cap sheet had been delivered even earlier on that day.)  On the third day they installed new fascia as an add-on to the original contract.
As I observed the progress of the work each day questions arose.  Each time I called the supervisor, Jamie, or the owner, Ray, I got a timely and positive response.  The work crew was also very responsive to my questions and concerns.
I highly recommend G & G Roofing for the quality of their work, responsiveness, and congenial attitudes.

They were quick to come out and provide an estimate, on time for their appointment, and offered the best price of the 3 roofers we contacted. They were professional as well. They repaired the leak the same day we called. Overall, we are very satisfied.

A fantastic company!!!! Professional, quick response, excellent communication skills, very reasonable compared to other estimates. Had a frustrating exterior leak that was very difficult to repair. It took a few visits before issue was resolved...but Ray never gave up! He and his crew were determined! We were extremely pleased and would highly recommend this company. We had quite a bit of water coming into our dining room area. GandG took the tiles off the roof in that section of the house and resealed everything, put the tiles back, and everything looks good. So far so good. No water coming in. They were very prompt and got the job done quickly. Would definitely recommend them.

Wow......what can I say...!!!..In trying to purchase a Fannie Mae Bank Owned beachside home in Satellite Beach with a roof that had less than a years life left, We found ourselves in a true catch 22, ..Insurance would not insure property prior to new roof being installed,.. Mortgage not able to close till insured, Seller was selling As Is and I could not install roof till we owned the home...Ray was instrumental in offering help and suggestions while we were trying to keep the deal alive..
   Being new to the area and very unfamiliar with wind load requirements, Four point inspections and wind mitigation reports for insurance requirements, he gave me a true education on what was necessary and most cost effective as to save money now and ongoing with almost $400.00 a year savings on Insurance with a properly coded and installed re-roof... In our meetings and many conversations, he showed me work he had done and different types and ways to do things. His knowledge is very broad in different roof types and materials and he seems to really love and is proud of what he does everyday.
   After a couple of weeks of trying to get the house closed with Ray and the insurance agents help, the only choice left was to pay cash and go uninsured till we got it re-roofed, which didn't seem logical in Mid Hurricane season. We made the decision to withdraw from the purchase of a home we really loved and move on.
    Because of the nature of ever changing  Florida Insurance requirements and cost, Dealing with someone like Ray who is knowledgeable,reputable and who stays up on the codes and requirements is not only important for now but for future cost savings.....He will be on the roof of anything I decide to purchase in the future!! .... Once again Ray..thanks for all your help and guidance...

The workman was punctual, professional and completed the work in a timely manor. He showed us the 2 broken tiles and asked if we had replacements, which we did. He quoted a fee for this additional work, we accepted and he completed the work. He also replaced a small piece of a gutter which was above and beyond the initial work, for free. All in all we were extremely satisfied.

G&G Roofing forgot my appointment, but when I phoned them, they had someone here withing 30 minutes.  The job started on Friday afternoon and continued on Saturday.  They did a great job cleaning all the gutters and slopes on my roof-cleaning out pine needles on a twelve twelve pitch roof is not easy.  The roof top is about three stories high.
On Monday, Jamey arrived and did an inspection of my roof in the attic and collected payment.  Both men were very professional, patient, and listened to our concerns. 

Our home was built in 1998 and we needed a new roof and wanted to be brought up to hurricane codes. We went out to five different roofing companies.  The bids that came in were both standard shingles and 3 came in with metal options.  We were surprised when the Permatile metal roof, with a superior product and warranty came in at only about 6K more. 
We awarded G & G roofing the contract.  We did not have to put a third down for them to start the project.  We simply singed the contract and set a start date.  Due to the unusual rainy weather, our start date was pushed back about a week, but that was very understandable.  When G & G began, they had a crew of 7 men which worked from 7 am to 7 PM for 7 days in a row.  This crew was very impressive.  They were extremely coordinated.  They had a plan, worked hard and cleaned up every night.  The crew was extremely polite.  
The end result is that G & G roofing did what they said they were going to, had a great team of hard working guys and we now have a beautiful strong metal roof that looks like tile.  My hats off to this crew.  I would recommend this company to anyone needing a great roof.

We looked at all the reviews for roofers in area to replace our shingle roof with metal. We ended up calling five for a quote, one missed two appointments and ended up estimating over the phone, one showed up and didn't send a quote for a week, one never returned our call, and one sent a salesman that had no clue about roofing but he knew his pitch well. G&G Roofing was quick to respond to our initial call and showed up that day to do a quote. Ray at G&G showed up on time and was courteous, easy to talk to, and professional. He went on the roof measured and then sat down with us to go over the wind mitigation paperwork and other particulars. During that time I mentioned that I had to drill a hole in the ceiling to drain the water that was leaking in one of our bedrooms. He asked where it was and he took a look at it. He then asked if it was OK to go back on the roof and patch it, I asked him how much, his reply, "Don't worry about it, not that big of a deal." He jumped back up on the roof for awhile and came back down. This was before we had gotten a formal quote and decided to go with them, so I was pretty impressed at this honest gesture. We got a quote within two days like we agreed and Ray beat the other quotes by quite a bit. He said that it would be about 2 weeks until they started working. He and his crew showed up on time the first day and these guys finished the job quickly and professionally. At the end of everyday they picked up any loose debris that fell off the roof and made sure no nails or screws were laying around. They were extremely hardworking, polite, and courteous. We've had some other work done on our house and none of the other contractors have even come close to the customer service and follow through that G&G showed us.

I highly recommend G & G roofing. The owner Ray was very professional,polite, and always available to answer any questions I had. Ray's crew was very professional, polite, hard working and skilled. They were extremely detail oriented and did a great job. The crew cleaned up around the business every evening. They were also very consciousness of our customers through out the day while they were working. 

We removed two solar panels from our roof and had a leak around our chimney. I called G & G for an estimate as well as two other roofers.
Ray returned my phone call right away and was at my home within a few hours to give me an estimate for the job.   He had his worker arrive at my home the next day (Saturday) to repair the roof and replace a portion of our ridge vent that the solar panel was attached to.  They also inspected and sealed all other openings on our roof as well as cleaned out our gutters for no extra charge.
We have since had a raccoon do some damage to our roof, and I contacted Ray again to do the repair.  The repair was done within a few days and we are very happy with their work.
The raccoon came back a few days ago and I just called Ray again this morning to do this repair as well.
When It comes time to replace our roof, (which, if the raccoons have their way, will be sooner rather than later)  we will definitely call G & G Roofing to do the job. 

After observing G&G in action with metal roof installation on two other houses in our neighborhood, we decided to get a quote from G&G to install a metal roof on our house.  The process from quoting through completion was very professional and the workmanship and quality was excellent. Ray Smith, G&G's president, is technically very competent as is his supervisor and crew.
Ray's entire crew is extremely conscientious and professional.  Each day during the roofing process, they thoroughly cleaned the work area.  They worked long hours to be sure they finished the work in the time they estimated to us. The whole job from removal of the old shingles through completion of the new installation was planned in order to keep the flow of work smooth and uninterrupted.
The job was completed as promised and we are really happy with our new roof.  Several of our neighbors have also asked G&G for quotes.  Some for a metal roof an others for a shingle roof.

G&G provided excellent service. They are very friendly and easy to talk to and they listened to what I wanted.  The clean up factor was awesome you could never tell that there was a roofing crew there, not a nail one was left behind. They took care of everything and they were in and out before I knew it. Thank you G&G  for taking care of me and my home. I would highly recommend G&G Roofing they are the best around.

Estimate was provided same day I contacted Angies List.  Roofers arrived as scheduled and performed the work quickly and with care.  I was impressed with their punctuality and their willingness to work after dark into the late evening.  (10:00 p.m.)  I would recommend G&G for any roofing repairs, and I would not hesitate to use them again if needed.

Ray's team showed up on time and did a fantastic re-roof job on two structures.  My main home had asphalt shingles and peel-n-stick secondary water barrier installed after re-nailing the entire deck.  My barn had galvanized metal roofing installed with screws.  After the job was complete, Ray provided all the inspection materials need to file for wind mitigation inspection credits with my insurance company, saving me over $1100 on this year's insurance premium.  All in all, a great job at a very fair price.

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. I had already paid one person a lot of money to fix my leak, but it was never fixed properly until now. The gentleman from G&G roofing came out to my house to give me an estimate on the repair and actually tried to fix it that day. When I asked how much I owed him he said $40 would be fine, but I gave him $50 for his time and trouble. He stated that he wasn't sure if it was fixed, but if it wasn't to call him and he would fix it and put the $50 dollars towards the total cost of the repair. Then the rains came everyday without fail. He contacted me a couple of times to let me know he hadn't forgotten about me. Then on a Sunday they tried to call me but my cell was turned off so he sent someone over to see if they could do the work that day. The gentleman was here for several hours replacing shingles and installing them the correct way for the low pitch of my roof. He charged me $280 dollars more and did credit my $50 back to the total cost and gave me a one year warranty. So far I haven't had anymore leaks with all this heavy rain and I'm so happy! They were very honest, hard working guys and I would recommend and use this company again without a second thought.

I highly recommend G&G roofing.  The owner "Ray Smith" was very professional.  I called for an estimate, he arrived on time and worked with my personal schedule.  Not only was the owner professional, but he was polite, on time, with loads of knowledge and experience and he took the time to go over with me the written estimates.  If you are looking for a honest contractor, Ray Smith is that.
After reviewing all the other contractors listed on Angies List, I decided that G&G Roofing was the company that I would hire for the job.  After reading other members reviews, I didn't need to compare and get other estimates, I felt confident in this contractor. After meeting with him, my feelings were correct and hired him immediately.
His crew were also very professional, hard working and skilled.  The customer service I received was above and beyond expected.  Ray was always available to take time to answer my questions.  The roof and gutters and downspouts look fantastic!!  Job well done by all.  My neighbors are asking for his business card, impressed by the roof and dependability of doing a great job.  If you need a new roof or repair, don't think twice about calling G&G Roofing.  Very impressive owner and company.

Ray has done an excellent job. His team worked from 8:30 am till 9:45pm both days. We had a couple of questions and several request and each time Ray did a great job answering our questions. The guys were polite and acted like gentleman the entire time. The team left after dark and had to come back the next day to walk the yard and to do a few detailed items. They just did great. i am easy to please and my wife had to see several samples. Ray hung in there and we are really pleased. 
We had three groups give us quotes and Ray came in below the other two groups and made us feel comfortable. I can honestly tell you it could not have gone better. If you getting a new roof I know its about price and comfort of the company. In my opinion at least call these guys and give them a chance.

Ray called an set up a time, I had a soffit that needed repair as well .  The roofer got here at the appointment, but after looking at my roof he fixed my soffit but wanted a helper and a bigger ladder to safely to the rest of the job.  When he got back the next day he did a great job, and painted all the boots, sealed all the exposed nail heads and screwed the ridge vents with self sealing screws rather the nails that were used originally.  He also cleaned the gutters and fix some the fascia that was loose.  He also gave a general assessment of the roof condition.  The folks were all courteous and friendly... good company - I'll use them again.
