They did a great job. I was impressed with the attention to detail, and all leaks were patched to our satisfaction in a very timely manner. Several other contractors who initially came to look at the problem area had pushed us to immediately embark on a re-roofing project, but the G&G inspector gave us his honest opinion that he thought we could hold off on a re-roof for another year or two based on the overall condition of the shingles, and that we should be okay with some touch ups in the short term. This gave us more time to save for the more major project we knew was on the horizon, which was a huge help. We haven't had any problems with the roof in the meantime. Would definitely recommend their services to friends and neighbors!

I had used G and G Roofing on 2 previous occasions for roofing and this time I needed a metal soffit repair. As always, they were prompt, courteous, professional, and fixed the problem. They consistently provide good service and I will continue using them. They are quality local people who do a great job.

Jamie was great and delivered as promised. Even to go so far as to return to finish the job himself all day after the assigned crew didn't complete my entire half of the duplex. The finished product is perfect and I am very happy with the performance of this company. Prices were about the same or lower than the other companies I contacted, and they accepted credit cards and an angies list coupon.Price quoted was what was due. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a roof or repairs.

G & G came in with lowest quote and work was top quality. Appointments for quote and repair were on time, both professional & courteous. Provided extra service at no cost and cleaned up with no mess left. Would highly recommend to anyone.

G&G was prompt in coming to evaluate the roof. Damaged areas were photographed and Ray even offered to replace damaged vinyl on the house. Ray took the time to answer all of our questions. We were pleased with Ray's product selections for our house, workmanship warranty, and cost. Tear-off and reroofing proceeded and was completed on schedule. Ray's crew did a good, safe, and complete job.

Ray kept in contact with me before the work began so that I would know the exact day the project would start. Ray and his men showed up on the day promised and worked each day, all day until my roof was done. Upon completion, Ray took me around to show me that the work was performed as promised. I am no roofing expert, but it was clear that the quality of the roof far exceeded that of my previous roof. I would use Ray again without reservation. He is honest, hard working and a family man too. Oh and did I mention his price was very competitive too - for far superior work. Now that is true value.

CONGRATULATIONS TO RAY SMITH AND HIS CREW FOR A TOUGH JOB WELL DONE. I GOT TO KNOW RAY AND HIS CREW QUITE WELL BECAUSE IT WAS A LARGE, COMPLICATED JOB AND TOOK SEVERAL WEEKS. AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS TASK, 4 ROOFING COMPANIES WERE CONTACTED TO EVALUATE THE PROBLEMS OF A LEAKING ROOF, AND TO PROVIDE W RITTEN ESTIMATES ON WHAT WAS NEEDED TO FIX IT. I CHOSE G&G ROOFING BECAUSE THE OWNER, RAY SMITH, CAME OUT, WALKED THE ENTIRE ROOF AND TOOK PICTURES THAT SHOWED THE CAUSE OF THE PRESENT PROBLEMS AS WELL AS SOME OF THE SERIOUS PROBLEMS THAT WOULD BE ENCOUNTERED IN THE FUTURE DUE TO THE POOR INSTALLATION. (ALL ROOFERS, GIVING ESTIMATES, STATED THAT THE INSTALLATION WAS POOR.) I WAS GIVEN TWO OPTIONS --- REPAIR OR REPLACE--- AND DETAILED ESTIMATES FOR BOTH. WE DISCUSSED THE PROS AND CONS OF EACH CHOICE BUT THERE WAS NO PRESSURE TO CHOOSE EITHER OPTION. MY DECISION WAS TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE ROOF NOW RATHER THAN LATER. I WAS THEN PROVIDED WITH A DETAILED CONTRACT AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE. TEARING OFF AND REPLACING A 12,000 + SQ. FT. METAL ROOF OF PEAKS, VALLEYS AND ANGLES WAS NO EASY TASK. HOWEVER, THE WORK WAS PERFORMED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. HIS ENTIRE CREW WERE POLITE, CONSIDERATE AND TRIED TO MAKE THE JOB AS EASY AND CONVENIENT AS POSSIBLE FOR ME. THEY WORKED A LOT OF 10-12 HOUR DAYS AND SOME SATURDAYS. THEY CLEANED UP AT THE END OF EACH DAY MAKING CERTAIN THERE WERE NO NAILS OR PIECES OF METAL LEFT TO FLATTEN MY TIRES. RAY WAS ON SITE MOST EVERYDAY, CHECKING THAT ALL WAS GOING SMOOTHLY AND THE WORK WAS UP TO HIS STANDARDS, AS PROMISED. JUDGING FROM THE WORK THAT WAS DONE FOR ME, THE OWNER OF G&G ROOFING, RAY SMITH, IS VERY GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES AND STRIVES TO KEEP HIS CUSTOMERS WELL INFORMED AND SATISFIED. HE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE, FAIR AND HONEST BECAUSE HE GENUINELY CARES ABOUT THE REPUTATION OF HIS COMPANY. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND G&G ROOFING TO ANYONE.

The estimator was punctual and the estimate was within 10% of the 3 I got. The roof was scheduled to be done within 3 weeks, and they showed up exactly when they said they would. Original estimate was for 2.5 days, but they worked like crazy and got it done in two days. They left the area clean and neat. Did no damage to the property. The owner gave me an insurance mitigation form that I can use to reduce my homeowner's insurance premium. I am 100% satisfied with the results.

I had my roof replaced. I shopped around for a while and was very impressed with the courtesy and professionalism I received from the staff. They were respectful, honest, on time and just a pleasure to work with. The roof turned out wonderful. The workers cleaned up and left no mess. The work was completed quick. I also had my gutters replaced. They turned out wonderfully. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone. The price is right. Workmanship is outstanding. Overall a great experience and a very pleased customer.

The estimate was one of three that I received. Early date of completion plus likeability of the President helped me make the decision to use this firm. Work was completed as scheduled. Supervision was provided for all work completed. Supervisor and President were both very responsive. Great clean up after the work was completed.

Used Ray and the guys at G and G Roofing to replace my roof. Ray was prompt and professional during the process. Ray even drove my wife and I around to a few of his job so we could see the types of metal roof available. All the crew worked very hard and were courteous and professional. The house I recently purchased had no gutters except along the screened in porch. After a witnessing few Florida downpours, it became apparent that the house needed gutters to divert the deluge of water coming off the roof away from the house. Also, I had a shiny 9 sq ft patch of shingles in the front of the house that needed replacing. I contacted the company through Angie's List based on the reviews and service area. Ray Smith responded via email that day. We set up an appt to discuss the requirements and discuss quotes. Ray arrived at the appointed time on Wed. He is very professional and personable. We discussed options for the configuration to address the drainage areas around the house and how to accomodate the roof section connected to the screened in porch. He was very thorough in his assessment of the work required. He went on the roof to review the shingles needing replacing and to assess the amount of work and materials required. I agreed to the quote. I asked to have the work done as soon as possible since I have other work being scheduled. Ray scheduled the work to be done on Saturday. Jamie arrived on Saturday to install the gutters and make the roof repairs. He is also very professional and personable. I had a function to leave for by 3:30 and asked if he could start in the back so I could close the gate before leaving for my dogs. He started in the back and made sure that he had completed the necessary work in the back before I had to leave. He was still working on the front when I left. The clouds had been threatening to rain most of the day, and Jamie told me that he would come back to replace the roof shingles if it started to rain. I did rain soon after I left. When I returned home that night, I had seamless gutters in the front and the back of the house. Jamie did an awesome job - he measured and made the gutters to size on site. The gutters really complete the house in my opinion. Jamie came back on Sunday afternoon to replace the shingles. He also finished up some detail work in the back of the house. We had another downpour yesterday and no more Niagara Falls off the roof! Great job!

EXCELLENT FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END THEY SHOWED US MANY ROOF AND PRICE OPTIONS AND WE DISCUSSED ALL OF THEM TO SEE WITCH ONE WAS BETTER FOR OUR HOUSE. VERY IMPORTANT FOR US IS THAT THEY WHERE NOT PUSHY AND WE HAD ENOUGH TIME TO DECIDE OUR BEST OPTION. THE JOB WAS PERFORMED PERFECTLY AND CLEAN WITH NO PROBLEMS OR STRESS. I had an old leaky flat roof that was at the end of its life. I called G&G after I saw the reviews on Angie's List. Ray came out the same day, assessed it, and gave me the price to replace it. While inspecting the flat roof, he also noticed a bad spot on a shingled area at other end of the house, and gave me a repair price for that as well. I was happpy he spotted this and we got it taken care of before it made more trouble. Once I got on the schedule, the crew had the old flat roof removed in one day, replaced some rotten plywood decking, and the new roof installed the next day, as well as repaired the shingled area that had been leaking. The roofing materials were delivered on time as well as the dumpster for the debris. Everything was done right and on time. Ray and actually his entire roofing crew were professional and courteous at every turn. Always returned my phone calls right away and happy to answer any questions or concerns. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good roofing job at a good price, and who wants to deal with quality local people.

Estimates performed in professional manner. Owner and team interested in doing a good job. Frequent contact made regarding start and progress. Tarps were laid out to protect yard. They did a good job of cleaning up materials and not leaving personal debris around. Job was completed quickly and thoroughly.

After getting quotes from multiple contractors for a metal roof we decided on G&G based on price and the good reviews on Angie's list. We had a shingle roof and when the job started we thought we had to replace very little of the wood underneath. As the job progressed a large portion of the underlying wood had to be replaced. Ray made that much less painful than it could have been. As expected with any construction project there were some small issues that G&G addressed immediately when they were brought to their attention. The crew was easy to work with and I felt very comfortable having them do work on my house. In the end the job looks great. I was nervous about going with mill finish galvalume but the end result looks better than the painted galvalume roofs in my area. I've had multiple neighbors give me compliments on it. My homeowners insurance company has requested multiple documents to apply wind protection discounts from G&G and each time Ray has promptly responded to me with the requested documents. Very happy with G&G's service.

They showed up on time and provide a reasonable quote to complete the job. We had to wait a few days for them to secure the tiles so I ended up going on holiday and was not there to view their work at time of completion. I have to admit I was a bit nervous about not being there. However, Ray was very understanding when informed I was on holiday and would pay him the following week once I returned to check the repair. When examining the repair I could tell it was done by a professional and the problem had been solved. I now realize after dealing with a few other roofers in our area. You either never hear from them again or they do not complete the job properly. I should have gone on Angie's List from the start because G & G Roofing Construction completed the job on time, on budget, and correctly. Thanks Ray!!

Very professional work. Exceptional attention to detail. Work took several days. Area being repaired was made watertight overnight in case of rain. A lesser roofer would have put on a tarp and hoped it would not rain. Workers were extremely dedicated and put in the hours necessary to get the job doe correctly. No shortcuts were taken.

They were quick to come out and provide an estimate, on time for their appointment, and offered the best price of the 3 roofers we contacted. They were professional as well. They repaired the leak the same day we called. Overall, we are very satisfied.

Crew of five people arrived early and stayed late. On first day removed old shingles and tar paper, replaced rotted plywood in a few spots, put down self adhering underlayment and generally made ready to lay new shingles. On second day the same crew arrived early and began laying new 130 mph dimensional shingles on the house and 2-ply granulated cap sheet on the flat roof. (Shingles and cap sheet had been delivered even earlier on that day.) On the third day they installed new fascia as an add-on to the original contract. As I observed the progress of the work each day questions arose. Each time I called the supervisor, Jamie, or the owner, Ray, I got a timely and positive response. The work crew was also very responsive to my questions and concerns. I highly recommend G & G Roofing for the quality of their work, responsiveness, and congenial attitudes.

A fantastic company!!!! Professional, quick response, excellent communication skills, very reasonable compared to other estimates. Had a frustrating exterior leak that was very difficult to repair. It took a few visits before issue was resolved...but Ray never gave up! He and his crew were determined! We were extremely pleased and would highly recommend this company. Let G&G be your first choice if looking for a roof repair company...they are simply the best!

We had quite a bit of water coming into our dining room area. GandG took the tiles off the roof in that section of the house and resealed everything, put the tiles back, and everything looks good. So far so good. No water coming in. They were very prompt and got the job done quickly. Would definitely recommend them.
