Overall, I felt as though I was a valued new customer. Ray came out and provided a detailed description of the problem as well as how best to address/ fix it. He was able to schedule the repair for the next morning (SATURDAY)! Jamie arrived the next morning ready to get to work. He surveyed the area to be fixed and reviewed process with me. After the repairs were completed the area was left cleaner than before. I usually get a second opinion on these things but felt immediately comfortable with the quote, recommendation of repair process, response time, and professionalism of the G & G Roofing staff.

The provider recommended a lower cost solution before attempting expensive repairs. Honesty like that won me over and will always use them in the future.

We got off to a rough start as they first didn't have the right phone number to contact me and had the wrong email address when they went to send me an estimate for the work. However, those issues were worked out and things went well from there. The gentleman who came by to give the estimate was the same person who performed the work and he was very friendly, curtious and professional. He did a good job of cleaning up after himself under the circumstances. We had a quick moving storm with high winds come through while he was completing the roof repairs and a few shingles got away during the storm but was not anything to be concerned about and were easily picked up. Overall the gentleman knew what he was doing and I have not had any leaks in the areas he repaired since. He also reduced the cost of the repairs by $200.00 since he didn't have to replace an item he originally thought he would. Most companies would have charged you anyway knowing you wouldn't know any better. I applaud him for his honesty. Overall, he did a very nice job and I would use this company again.

The company did excellent work. While there was a bit of a delay in the workers getting started on the job, once they did they were polite, efficient, hardworking and cleaned up after themselves each day. The workmanship looks excellent and the price was exactly as quoted. No surprises with the cost. We were initially surprised by the look of the roof because it had "exposed fasteners" and we hadn't realized what they would look like. However, we learned that each one is encapsulated in metal, unlike some metal roofs with exposed fasteners, and they will hold up very, very well. We're pretty darned sure that roof isn't going to blow away in a strong wind. We made a suggestion to Ray that they show potential customers a photo of what exposed fasteners actually look like and he was very positive and responsive to our suggestion, saying they would definitely do that. We are very pleased with this company and highly recommend them.

This Co. was great to work with!!! everyone I talked to and dealt with from start to finish. They where on time, answered any and all questions. Very helpful/ patient as I decided shingle color. The work crew where clean workers, and clean up at end of every day.

This went better and faster than I thought possible. All employees were diligent, polite and professional. The estimate was consistent with the other companies I contacted, and the final bill was exactly as estimated. The rear off was accomplished in one day, with the debris removed that same day. Inspections were timely. There were minor weather delays that could not be avoided. We signed the contract on contract on 4/2/14, and all work was completed by week ending 5/8/14.

It took longer than stated to start the work then they told us when we sign the contract and they did not keep in touch to update us on when they would start, but the job they did was very good and they were polite and keep the jog site very clean and completed the job when they said they would. I do recommend them.

Jamie was 100% honest, suggesting that the roof was far above average in quality, that there probably was no leak, and that if I really wanted to explore the issue anyway that it would be cheaper to have someone else cut open interior drywall to look than to have G&G roofing tear up a likely perfect tile roof looking for a leak which probably didn't exist. Jamie was great, and I will definitely look to use them for future roof work. They could not have been better. We did have the other contractors who thought there was a roof leak open up the drywall, and (as Jamie thought) there was no leak.

Very professional workman. Once they started the work for the day, they completed the job each day. Removed old shingles, and old tar paper, old gutters, and applied peel and stick tar paper on day one. Completely reshingled roof on second day. Complete replacement of gutters and down spouts on third day.

The roofers were on time, very professional. The price was definitely reasonable. They did not waste any time and cleaned up when they were done. Told us it would be done in two days and they stayed on schedule.

The steel was about double the asphalt price, but I plan to stay in the house and the added cost was worth it for a premium roof. I am very pleased with all all aspects of the reroof (excellent crew, quick and professional service). I definitely would use G&G again.

I called G & G Roofing on Tuesday, and on Thursday, they came out and gave us a great estimate. We scheduled to have the work done as soon as possible. Within 6 days, our roof was repaired and no more leaks! Terrific company to do business with!! We highly recommend this company!! Thank you!!!

They arrived promptly at 9 am and got right to work. I ordered a special on Angie'slist $240 maintenance package for roof and gutters. They went up on the roof patched and sealed some areas that I had a problem with. I had four gutters down which they reattached for me. They blew out all the gutters of the leaves on the roof on both my shed and my house. They went above and beyond what was expected. What they did was certainly worth the price and it saved me from having to do it myself. They were even honest enough to let me know I had a few good years left in my roof which was a great relief to me. I know I need a new roof in the future and I will certainly use G and G roofing construction.

John arrived on the date set up. Lucky for us, the wasn't as much damage as thought. The price went down a good bit because of that. We have used G & G before, on a different house. They are reliable, actually show up, and do what they say. I would highly recommend them. PS how can you beat a 5 year warranty on work performed?

After getting several quotes from other roofing companies, what I liked best about G and G roofing was their responsiveness. Ray was great at always returning phone calls and letting me know of the status of the job. They came in and pretty much did the roof in one day. The next I came and I was unhappy about certain details that were left out, so I called Ray and he had someone come out and fix whatever needed to get done. Ray actually met me at my house one day to go over everything that was done. Just a really professional guy and great face to the company. You can tell he works hard for his customers and his business. Will definitely recommend him to anyone that is looking for a new roof.

I inadvertently gave a less than average review for G &G Roofing previously. I had received an e-mail request from Angie's List asking for my review. Being new with Angie's List I just assumed this was the company that I contacted through Angie's List to come by my home and give an estimate for repairs. It was not. I was mistaken. I was contacted by Ray Smith, the owner of G & G on a follow up and with extreme courteous and professionalism he explained to me his company had not visited my home for an estimate. Some of the first words spoken by Ray was how proud he is of his company and how much pride he takes in his work. I truly believe he would do everything in his power to remedy whatever problem that may present itself. I sincerely apologize to G & G Roofing and Ray Smith and would not hesitate to have G & G Roofing make any repairs to my home.... Thanks to Ray for pointing this out and allowing me to correct this....

After receiving three estimates the job was awarded to G & G roofing. The estimate was conducted very professionally and thoroughly. Due to delays caused by the weather, a team of workers showed up on Friday morning. They stripped the roof to include drip edge and gutters, repaired minor damage to the decking and began to install new underlayment by lunch. The new shingles were delivered and the building inspector arrived in the afternoon. While damage was being repaired in the front, the back of the house was having the new shingles installed. The crew left after the sun had gone down. A smaller team returned on Saturday morning to finish the roofing. Janie began installing the new gutters. The roofing team finished the roofing, unfortunately for them the sun had again gone down when the completed their cleanup and departed. Jamie returned again Sunday morning to complete the gutter installation. He finished just before sunset. The professionalism and dedication to satisfying their customer was obvious through out.

We did have a problem but they came and fixed it right away. The first time I used them, they were supposed to repair our air flow vent on the roof, but they didn't, so it leaked. So they came back out to replace it (it couldn't be repaired at that point), and originally they wanted to charge the full price, but we worked it out and they gave me a discount.

Raymond arrived at the scheduled on time and was very professional. I was losing sleep over a leak that was appeared in my closet roof over night. He inspected the the leak and roof and with in 10 min of arrival he had everything fixed. There was a pipe on the roof that had to be sealed up again. Thanks to Ray there will be no more damaged to the roof and I will be able to sleep again =-). It was an amazing experience and will recommend him and his company. They will be my go to company for roofing.

Because I was a contractor, I knew what to look for in a sub-contractor performing services at my personal residence. I was very pleased with the quality of work, the personnel, the tools, and their performance.

AMAZING!!! G&G did a re-roof and replaced my skylight with a hurricane rated one. I received many quotes and did alot of research before picking G&G. They were by far the nicest people I talked to. Very professional and not too pushy like some other companies I talked to. They also had the best price!!! Everyone I talked to on the phone was very friendly, professional, and helpful. If they didn't pick up the phone when I first called, someone always called me back within 15 minutes. They even dropped off some shingle samples so I could pick my color. The guys were in and out in two days and did an amazing job!!! I couldn't be happier!!! Thanks guys!!!
