G & G Roofing

I contacted G&G yesterday and they set up an appointment for 4 O'clock today. They were about 15 min early and called to let me know. He looked at the stain in the house, sized up where that would be on the roof and got out his ladder and went up. Spent 15-20 min up there and came down with a picture from his phone and told me what he did. He caulked the screw back into the hole and said that would hold for quite a while. When I asked how much I owed him, he said he was only there about 15 min and some caulk wasn't enough to charge me. I will refer these guys to anyone. Fast service and the price couldn't have been better. We will go to them to get the ridge vent fixed!

They patched our leaky roof while we waited on the metal panels to be fabricated. Crew worked very hard to ensure the job was completed in a timely, professional manor. We did have one hiccup where the metal fabricating company had cut some panels incorrectly and this caused a slight delay. However, it was quickly resolved and they completed the job. Roof looks fantastic! I have since contracted them to install seamless gutters which are supposed to be installed this week. My mother has also just contracted them to install a shingle roof on her new house later this month.

I believe they did well. I still have water damage but we're not sure if it's from the roof. Overall they did good. He came out and then he repaired the roof within a couple days.

I was under the impression that they’d repair some of my shingles. $300 extra for shingle repair. The worker was very professional and good, though. I did have them look at some other work, and he took pictures. I was supposed to get an estimate for that other job, but I haven’t received it yet.

It went great. The appointment was scheduled and he was on time. He did the work very fast and efficient. He also inspected the roof for any other issues. GREAT JOB!!!!!

We got three quotes to begin. We were very impressed that Ray Smith, the owner, came out to do the measuring and deliver the estimate himself. In our opinion, he was the most knowledgeable on metal roof installation after comparing the three offers and looking at the references all three provided, as well as the best price. Jose, the supervisor, and his crew did an excellent job! Had the roof stripped and dried in all in one day! The crew was quiet, hard working and cleaned up the site every day! Ray provided us with a wind mitigation inspection also. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Everything was amazing and the work that was performed exceeded our expectations. We will be calling G&G if we ever have roofing issues again or when it is time to put on a new roof. Jimmy Ollie is an excellent superintendent and I would trust him on my roof any day!

The service was fine. One person came out and it took him about half-an-hour to complete the repairs. I would say we liked their work. We have used them in the past.

All of the repairs were completed as stated.. We found that Ray was very professional and took care of us.

The existing roof tiles in the repair area were removed, the damaged plywood were replaced and peel and stick weather proofed materials were re-installed. The files were foam attached back to the roof.

Very good after some discussion. You need to understand what this is. They will not fix anything major. But small things they will address as part of the Tune-Up. I had a leak and a loose vertical gutter than they fixed for me. So very happy with the outcome. maybe as I hd no major issues.

The described service could not be done due to the condition of the eaves. Gentleman was courteous and suggested we go ahead with a full roof replacement. I have just completed a week in the hospital which started with my debilitation (104 deg fever) and am not able to continue with this project.I called the vendor to explain my cancellation and they said they would take care of it on their end. Technician applied roofing sealant as needed, and repaired several leaks around a skylight. Roof leaked at the same place the following day during storm. Technician's boss came on day off (Sat) and repaired two spots that caused the leak. While not yet tested, I believe the leaks have been fixed. Responsible and professional company.

This company has definately deserved their customer award. Ray, the Company owner, was very curtious, helpful and experienced. When he arrived he was shown the leak in my ceiling and he recognized the cause of the problem after he inspected the roof. He explained what was causing the leak due to a problem in the valley and what damage it had done already (I want to mention, that I had asked a different company -as a second opinion- for an estimate about the problem, and they missed a part of the issue according to the description within their estimate). He deserves also an A plus-plus for working with me on the cost and coming up with a great resolution that worked. I feel very safe and trusting to the max with this Company. I can recommend G&G Roofing, they will solve your problem with great experience, knowledge and professionalism and on top are very pleasant to work with. I will definately return to Ray to take care of my roof, if there is a problem, in the future. Thank you Ray, I really appreciate having done business with you.

Mr. Raymond Smith, G & G Roofing arrived punctually between the hours stated in our phone conversation. He was very professional and courteous. He immediately was shown the leak stain in the ceiling and recognized it for what it was. Air conditioning humidity condensation which can happen in these dog days of summer with higher than normal humidity levels. He then went and inspected our entire roof and came back with a report that our roof was in fine shape with normal wear and tear. The cost of his inspection was free. I kept his card because I will clearly use him again in the future and will highly recommend him to all my neighbors.

The company rep that came to quote us a price was very professional. Quoted price was very reasonable. Workers showed up as scheduled. Entire job was done from start to finish in 3 days. My only complaint is that the workers left dirty hand prints on the face of the house in the peak. A small complaint as they did a great job on the roof. We will definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

After a stretch of heavy rain, a leak had formed and water had collected above the ceiling of my front porch causing drywall and paint damage. I contacted G & G roofing to inspect the roof and determine where the water was coming from. They arrived and promptly got on the roof. They immediately found the problem of misplaced nails that had come out/loose from when the roof was installed (by another provider) 10 years before. They patched the guilty spots and said to call if there were any more problems. After 3 days of considerable periods of rain, there is no sign of the leak.

The service was good. The only thing I had an issue with was I called them to come back and they never returend the call or came out. The initial service was good but the follow up was poor.

I contacted G & G roofing to replace a shingle-roof. Both the estimating crew and work crew were very professional and did an excellent job on my roof. The only gripe is that I had to wait a bit for the work to start (4 weeks vs. the 2-3 they had informed me of), but once work started it was done quickly over the course of 3 days (1900 sq. ft. home -- some thunderstorm delays). The roof looks very good now and my leaks are fixed. Definitely recommend this company.

They were very nice though we didn’t opt to use them. They were good. I have no idea of the quality because we didn’t use them. I thought their price was high. They were punctual.

I contracted G&G Roofing after carefully reviewing numerous proposals from seven roofing contractors to replace the roof shingles and flat roof. It was a major job on an old house and, as a certified PMP project manager, it was paramount that I hired an experienced professional team at a reasonable price. While G&G Roofing?s proposal was not the lowest, the owner- Ray Smith- presented himself and his company professionally. The quote was provided to me immediately along with copies of his Contractor?s license, Certificate of Insurance, and other viable documents that helped me better understand G&G Roofing?s professional commitment and years of experience. I suggested some changes to the quote which was immediately accepted and the work was scheduled. G&G Roofing?s team arrived on time and immediately began the laborious job of removing the old roof. Supervisors were constantly present and provided periodic updates. Of course the weather was not supportive, but G&G Roofing?s team responded timely and professionally to unexpected events. At the end of each day, the team cleaned around the property. The evening following the installation of the self-adhering peel-n-stick on the entire roof, a major storm passed through our area. Nervous that roof had only this peel-n-stick on the roof, I monitored the roof for hours. Not one drop (even in areas that previously leaked) was found. WoW! This peel-n-stick (applied correctly) weathered the down pour and, it was the first of a two layer system!! It was obvious to us that the team cared about their work and about the homeowners. They immediately reported the sizzling sounds and sparks coming from the main power line feeding the house. Duke Energy was called and the power shut off while the power company replaced the worn out line. Extra work in replacing two pieces of sheet rock in my grandchildren?s ceiling (damaged due to previous leaks in prior years) was performed quickly and effortlessly, demonstrating to me that G&G Roofing?s team skill set goes beyond roofing. I strongly recommend that digital photos be taken of all extra work on the roof. the roof is beautiful. they painted the soffit material so it would match the house paint and existing soffit. they cleaned up before they left. I would be glad to recommend them to any one.
