They also completed a repair on the roof. Scheduling was fine. They left no mess behind. Overall, my experience with them was fine!

Turns out that no one calling me following my initial appointment was a mix up with contact details etc. Things happen and no one is perfect. I am happy to report that Annely from G & G roofing did get in touch with me and wanted to make things right immediately. I informed her that its ok if the appointment wasn't until later next week or whenever was their was an opening. Annely and the company insisted on sending someone over that day (technically within hours of our phone call- impressive!). I am happy to report that not only did they expedite service, the people they sent over were super professional and very nice. The quality of work was top notch and the gutters look great. Special thanks to Jaime who I know had to rework his schedule to fit me in and I do appreciate it. I would highly recommend the company to my friends and family. Thanks again!

I saw evidence of possible water intrusion on the ceiling of my attached covered porch. Jason from G & G Roofing came out, arrived right on time, checked the roof, went into the attic and checked the porch from the inside and found no leak. Jason was pleasant, courteous and professional. I called them on Friday, they came out on Monday. I was very happy with their service and doubly happy I didn't have a leak.

The first 2 days we were very impressed with the 3 man crew. They did great removing the old shingles etc. and cleaning up at the end of the day. On the 3rd day they made repairs to where there was some rotted wood. They did fine with the sheathing repair. However, they really messed up repairing areas of rotted fascia board. It was very hard trying to communicate with them as only one of the three could speak any English and not very well at that. On 2 of the fascia board corners they tried 3 times and still didn't get it right. I placed a call to the superintendent to try to get someone out that knew something about woodworking, but got his voicemail instead. He didn't call back. By the time I saw him the next day it was too late as they already had the drip strips on the fascia. I'm mad at myself, as I should have made them stop working until the superintendent could get someone that knew what they were doing. I had to use lots of caulking before painting the fascia but you can still see how the corners are not cut correctly. The superintendent was only here between 15 minutes and 1/2 hour each day, usually to deliver something. On the last day of work the crew didn't finish up until 2 hours after sundown. Because of the darkness, the cleanup wasn't very good. I'm still finding nails and pieces of shingles around the yard. There's still pieces of shingles and other trash on the roof. 01/09/15 UPDATE: Since I first wrote this review, the Operations Manager came out and made improvements to the looks of the fascia. I really appreciate his concern and his efforts to make things right. Again I blame myself for not stopping the work until the Superintendent or the Operations Manager could come out and see the fascia repairs. If I had, I'm convinced they would have made sure it was right before it was too late.

Work seemed to go well. Had to have them return to take pictures for insurance. They were susposed to have taken during job completion.

We just moved into a new house and had a few roof issues listed on the home inspection report. I paid for a maintenance checkup and cleaning for our roof and to consult on another problem noted during the inspection. The G&G Roofing man showed up early and we discussed what he planned to do and I asked a few questions. He headed straight to the roof to perform the maintenance and checkup. I was very pleased with the man they sent out who went about his work quickly, efficiently and professionally. I asked him to work up an estimate for me on some additional work that needs to be done to repair the roof. I am fairly certain I will used G&G Roofing to do the work after I see the estimate.

It is so good to find a company that makes customer service a priority. After a weeks delay due to bad weather, the job was completed and I am quite happy with the results. Thanks to a diligent office staff and Wes's attention to detail and care in doing the job rightI , I will recommend G&G to anyone .

The service man was very courteous and friendly. He seemed to have my best interests ahead of making some quick money. I will probably have to have the roof replaced in 3-5 years, and G & G will be on the top of my list.

Updated 12/13/2014 *** I ordered this "Big Deal" on 10/6 and scheduled the inspector to come out on 10/22. At that time I was told that my documents would be emailed to me. As you can see below, it took an incredible amount of frustration and time to get those documents. However, when I finally did receive them, they were exactly what I needed. The form was the exact form that my insurance company needed and the wind mitigation form helped me get a discount on my insurance. If I hadn't had all these troubles, my rating would have been an unqualified A. The documents were exactly what I needed and at a very competitive price. Below is the short version of the story. Beginning 10/27 I contacted the inspector (who is also the Operations Manager) to find out how long it would take to get my documents. My first contact was via email and I was told in a reply they would be sent the same day, but they never came. I followed-up with three additional emails but got no further email response. Over the next few weeks I also made *countless* calls to the inspector's cell phone and the office. I spoke to him only once on his cell phone (I believe in November but didn't write it down); he told me he had the documents in his hand and would send them as soon as he got to the office, but they never came. The office staff were no help either, and I tried a mix of frustration and practically begging, but they never did anything to help me. I finally got relief after finally posting an all-F review on 12/9. The owner called me 12/10, got the documents emailed to me immediately, and issued a very generous refund check. I could tell he was practically as frustrated as I was and was genuinely remorseful. He didn't make excuses and took responsibility for the situation. I was *very* grateful the situation had come to his attention and wondered why no one had been able to get this level of help for me weeks ago. I almost wish I could give a better rating, but I feel this is as fair as I can be, given the circumstances. Arrived promptly, repairs completed quickly, and both the office staff and onsite rep were freindly and professional.

I called a different roofer and they not only gave me a quote of 4500, they pushed for a completely new roof. 1 year ago when I bought this house the inspector said that the roof shouldn't have to be replaced for at least 5 years. We had quite a bit of rain and where the gutters attached to the roof by the FL room, there was a leak. When I called G&G, they came out and were quite pleasant to deal with.

the representative of the company(Jaime) looked at the problem we had with mold in our front hall closet, he determined it corresponded with the roof line. he went up on the roof and found several nails backing their way out of the roof. he proceeded to go ahead and put the nails back and then tarred the area where he found the leak. when i asked about what i owed he said nothing and even refused money for lunch on us. i would definitely call them in the future if i have any other problems with the roof.

A rep for the company came by at the prescribed time. He was professional and personable. I asked him for 3 estimates. One for the needed repair, one for a complete roof and one for seamless gutters. On 11/17 I received the quote for the full roof but not the other two. I responded with the request for the other 2 immediately. I haven't heard from them since.

They did a really good job. They finished on schedule and cleaned up nicely afterwards. I would recommend to others.

Mr. Smith, the owner, arrived early was very professional. I would recommend him very highly.

They were late for the appointment window without a call. Two weeks later we got an estimate after several phone calls and a visit to their office. The estimate was missing prices for options we discussed. We immediately emailed a list of questions and I followed up with a phone call days later. A over a week later the email was responded to with a promise to call on Monday, he never called. Weeks later I got a follow up call to the estimate and I expressed my disappointment and frustrations. She said the owner would call my husband in two days like I requested. He never called! Too bad for them, we were looking for a metal roof and liked that they did it all including removing and re-installing our solar panels.

I liked this company. My last house burned down because of some bad roofer and I was very nervous about re roofing my house. I had quite a few quotes. They were not the cheapest but I felt they were the best. And I still feel this way after they have finished the job. I got many different opinions from roofers on what to do. With a metal roof you can put it on over the pre existing roof. This company did not. They did not want to cover up any preexisting problems. The owner Ray came prepared to the first meeting. He had his license, insurance, BB report and Angie's list. My last roofer had no insurance and I paid for it. This company has insurance and they did a great job. They did pull a permit for this job. The job was only suppose to last 5 days but ended up lasting over two weeks. This drove me a little crazy with all the noise. Supply delay and this and that. But things happen in life. And it was obvious that these hard working roofers were getting this done correctly. The roofers themselves were nice and respectful. A few stopped to talk about their animals and they were kind to my dogs. They didn't take that many breaks that I saw. They were hard working and it was hot. I work at home. There were two small leaks in the house from the re roof and they were fixed with no problem. I had part of the alarm come off with the roofing job and they paid for a new part. It's even possible that they didn't do it but there was no fuss about the replacement. A tree had fallen over and it was in their way. They propped it up and neatly put the debris in a bag on the side of my house with the rest of the yard waste. Toward the end of the job it was my Birthday and I had another day of banging and dog barking. I told them it was my Birthday and they said should we leave? I said could you!!! And can you believe they gave me a day of peace. Best present that year! I have never know a company that would do that. So thank you. That was very unexpected. They included a wind mitigation report in the price. I had a current wind mitigation report with my insurance company but I needed a new report with the new roof. With the new roof I save 270 a year for insurance. So even though it took a long time I would recommend this company. They did it right. And I do not think I will have to do this again in my life time. Yeah for me. I had a million questions before I redid my roof and I knew if I went for metal it would not be cheap. I chose this type because it looks really nice and blends in with my neighbors. You can not tell it is metal. Either can visiting thieves. It has a limited warranty for 50 years. I didn't like the energy saver colors but even in this color this metal roof should still save me money on my electric bill. I haven't had it long enough to know exactly what. I can't hear the rain any more then with my last non metal roof. It is important to get a good roofer with any roof especially a metal one. I can't tell you who burned down my first house but I can tell you these people did a great job.

Wes was great - said he was instructed to make people happy. And. he did that at this location! He sealed the skylight and other roof items - and gathered and hauled away many, many bags of pine needles. Always pleasant and put in the extra effort!

He was amazing. He arrived right on time. Assessed the problem, gave me an honest evaluation, fixed the problem I called about as well as two other small things he noticed. When I asked for a quote he told me it would only take him five minutes and a little bit of caulk. He refused to charge me. He is an honest business man and I would recommend him to anyone. If we ever have another problem or whenever we need a new roof he will be the first person we call.

Arrived late then performed the inspection. Was promised that the iPhone pictures that were taken of my roof would be forwarded to me yet they never were forwarded as promised.

They responed immeadiately to my call and set up an appointment at my convenience. The worker was prompt and professional. He took pictures of the problems and explained how they were fixed, and made recommendations for other repairs.

Technician was an hour late. I would have appreciated a call to let me know. He went to work quickly and did a thorough job. It was late afternoon on a Friday, and I was not his last appointment, so I was impressed that he did not try to skimp on the task. I appreciated that he took the time to describe and explain apparent causes of issues that were addressed.

Our roof had started leaking and we had G & G Roofing come out to evaluate and give us an estimate. We were impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of their staff. Their price for the re-roof was comparable to the two other bids we received and the estimate was very thorough. The roofing staff was courteous and kept the yard clean and they completed the job in the three days we were told it would be complete. The roof looks amazing and we couldn't be happier! We would recommend G & G Roofing to anyone looking to have their roof replaced!

I was having a dripping noise whenever it would rain coming from area of the chimney. This occurrence was something that had just started within the last month or so, and I wanted to get a handle on it before it got too out of control. I phoned several roofing contractors for repair estimates. G & G Roofing, Inc., was about the third one I contacted. Ray Smith, the owner and president of G & G Roofing, Inc., first showed at my house to provide me with a detailed bid to do some roofing and chimney repairs. He was punctual. I found Ray professional and well mannered. After Ray completed a thorough roof and chimney inspection, he handed me a written proposal along with his company folder which contained all his necessary business credentials (document copies) such as his State Roofing Certification and Workers' Compensation Certificate as well as copies of several other business documents. When Ray handed it to me, I was impressed about how neat and well organized everything appeared in the specialty folder with the G & G logo on the cover. I told Ray that I would look things over, and if I selected his company, I would give him a call in a few days. At the time, I was still in the process of entertaining a few other roofing estimates, but right now, G & G looked the best. A few days after receiving G & G's bid, I gave Ray Smith a call on his cell phone number which was listed on his business card. He answered the phone without me having to leave a message. I told him that I accepted his bid. We agreed to begin the job on Saturday contingent upon the weather. Saturday came and of course, it was raining, so we postponed the job until Monday. Two G & G Workers, Ello & Herman showed at exactly 9AM Monday morning. They started to work right away. It looked like it was going to rain cats and dogs all day, but it didn't start raining until 2PM, then it poured. Ello and Herman called it a day, and returned the following morning. Ello and Herman started to work early Tuesday morning despite the fact it looked like it was going to pour down rain. Both guys worked really hard, and both were very conscientious. They completed the entire job by noon. By the way, it never did rain. After a couple of days, Ray Smith dropped by to inspect the work and collect payment. Following his passing inspection, I told him that I was very happy with how nice everything looked. The skirting and flashing is a big improvement from what was there previously. I also told him that I was very pleased with his two employees, Ello and Herman. I would like to note that their work comes with a 2 year workmanship warranty as stated on the initial proposal. While I am not expecting any problems, it is good to know that I have some guarantee for two years. I'm sure even after that time frame, I can still call G & G Roofing, Inc., should the need arise. I found them efficient, honest, and an easy place with which to do business.

Company came out. Completed job. The insurance company said the paperwork was incomplete. Tried to contact the company several times for them to finish and provide us with the necessary information. Never responded or completed. When we finally were able to get through, they said the information was sent to the insurance company. We asked, What insurance company?" They had no idea. Were supposed to get back with us and never did.
