To start they shwed up right on time and called before coming. My A/C had completely quit cooling. After a thorough diagnostic they found an electrical problem with my condensing unit. They took their time and went through my system and found the problem and fixed it. The price was reasonable and my system works very well now. Every time he came from the outside to inside he put booties on to keep my house clean. They were very professional and thorough.This company is a class act and I will definitely be doing all my future A/C business with them.

Dolph came out to look at our 10 year old AC system and make recommendations for a replacement system. Our unit was starting to have problems. Dolph made "good-better-best" recommendations for a replacement Trane AC system. He was very knowledgeable, forthright and was excellent at explaining the differences between the 3 estimates and answering my questions. At no time did I feel pressured by him. After I decided on a new AC(a Trane 2-stage single package heat pump), the office scheduled a time for the installers to do the work. They arrived as scheduled. Dolph was there to help Aaron and Leo get started. Both Aaron and Leo did excellent work, were very courteous, and had excellent work attitudes. They did an excellent job at cleaning up after the work was completed - both inside and outside. The unit is very quiet. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the personnel and workmanship of Ellington.

Dolph came to the house and provided an estimate to my wife along with a recommenation to go with a heat pump vs an air conditioner and gas furnace. Dolph returned in the evening and answered every one of my detailed questions professionally and honestly with factual information that I knew to be true. Never felt like we were being "upsold" or pressured. What a pleasure dealing with a knowledgeable sales person with a first hand technician background. On installation day, Dolph arrived along with the two installers, Aaron and Steve on schedule. We reviewed the installation along with my specific requests. The installation well exceeded my expectations. Aaron and Steve were knowledgeable, professional and pleasant with a good work ethic. They not only accommodated my requests, but went above and beyond. In fact they painted my walls behind the old furnace, painted the new plenum box and re-routed the power cables just to make the installation look more professional. Dolph went over the programming and setup capabilities of the digital thermostat and communication system, while Aaron and Steve cleaned up at the end of the day- spotless. I would highly recommend Ellington to anyone requiring heat and A/C work. I normally don't sign up for service contracts, but I felt so comfortable with the crew that I signed up for yearly maintenance contract.

Dolph from Ellington AC & Heat Inc came out to assess the project and give a quote. He was prompt, knowledgeable and personable. He found issues that other AC companies didn't find and where obvious once they were pointed out to me(Missing heater unit). On the day of the install Dolph was there to instruct the crew on EXACTLY what was to be done and he and his team discussed the various options. They worked as a team and TOGETHER they came up with the best solutions. Once the crew knew exactly what was required for the job Dolph left them to their work. The two man installation crew were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The job was completed exactly as was explained to me and they even added a better thermostat at no additional charge.
