Ellington Air Conditioning & Heat

They were here the same day I called, so that's an A. They were here exactly on time, so that's another A. They know their stuff, believe me. I've been using them right at two years.

Two years ago, I purchased a new Trane system. Since then, I've had Ellington perform routine yearly maintenance. They have you pay in advance for the following year, which I did. Last year, the cost was $95. This year's renewal rate jumped to $169! Needless to say, I no longer use them.

Excellent. The air handler was damaged when it was unboxed so they ordered a new one. To not waste the day, they tore out the old unit, did the duct cleaning, got the area prepped, and rebuilt the platform in the garage. They were able to preserve our old units for donation purposes. They gave us 5 portable A/C units for the whole house so we were comfortable. The next day the replacement air handler arrived and was also damaged. They went to the warehouse and got a 3rd and voiced their displeasure. On the 3rd day they installed both the air compressor and air handler without issue. The crew was professional and pleasant and had a great respect for our home and our comfort. The only snag was the new thermostat we got that didn't work very well. It is a design flaw, not an installation or quality issue. The promptly replaced it with a different model which we are quite happy with. They did a follow-up call a few weeks later to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We are very happy with our selection and our power bills reflect the investment.

They did a really good job, really good. The price was fair.

I had them do it twice. They did not do the same one twice, I just had them do half the house and then the other half.
