Excellent service man - explained system, thermostat, all in terms I could understand.

He was professional, polite, and showed me what needed to be repaired or fixed.

This is an outstanding company, from sales, installation to service. All personnel kept home very clean. All personnel were very knowledgeable and polite.

They're great!!! Yes, Ellington may be more expensive than the "other guys" but I am here to tell you they were worth every penny. Dolph was a true professional in every sense of the word. The installation crew was punctual, professional and all around great guys. The job was done on time as quoted and they even did more than they agreed to. When replacing the outdoor unit they noted that the slab was dirty so they brought out a pressure washer the next day and cleaned it; that's service. Would use them again in a heartbeat. I have used the "other guys" for other things and ended up regretting it. I don't mind paying as long as I get what I pay for. I learned the hard way that you don't always get that with the "other guys".

They were very responsive to our call for service and showed up when they said they would. We told them that we thought it just needs to be charged. The tech said he would check the system to confirm that was the case. They were here (2 units) for several hours "checking" the units out. In the process they told us our units needed to be chemically cleaned and serviced and they recommended we have this done annually. After several hours they said that at this time it looks like one of the units is low and needs to have coolant added. They were here for about three hours and the total was around 750.00. I had expected the cost to "service" the units to be 300-350 for three hours work and a couple of pounds of coolant. We did receive a quote from them later for ongoing annual service of our units. That would run us 1700.00 per year. Why would we pay somebody 1700 a year to keep A/C units serviced each year when we could replace the small unit for that money and in two years we could replace the larger unit. I was not happy with the first bill and was even less happy with the quote for ongoing maintenance. They have the right to price their services and make their recommendations but we were not happy in the end and would not recommend them. Felt like they were milking it and the ongoing service price seemed to confirm that. Overall they were very responsive but based on the bill and recommended servicing I can see why. I should have got a price for everything in advance and not just let them spend hours "testing and checking" the system for them to come to the same conclusion I did. Lesson learned.

Excellent! Called to give me estimated time of arrival, which they made at the early end. They went straight to work, explained what they needed to do, and listened to my concerns (and abated them). It was a long (and rainy) day, but by 5pm we had our air and a fancy and new control panel. Very satisfied!

Called in the AM due to A/C not cooling house to a normal temperature the previous night. Scheduled a service call for 1-4pm. Received a courtesy call just after 1pm and Ron (I think that was his name) showed up by 1:30pm. He was extremely courteous and professional. He even wore shoe covers inside house! Performed general maintenance of unit and recommended I add a compressor start assist device. Was not pushy at all but instead just gave his honest recommendation and answered all my questions. He installed the device and finished the maintenance of the unit and then came inside to answer any final questions I had. Completed job in 2hrs Would definitely recommend and will be using services again as I paid for a maintenance package that includes service for next year. Prices seemed to be on the high side when I shopped around but like they say, you get what you pay for and I got great service!

If I had my own business I would want to model it after Ellington's. Very professional and efficient proposal process. Highly qualified experts, top of the line offerings and made sure we were 100% satisfied with every aspect of our new system and installation. Customer service and appointment settings and follow-up was first rate.

The rep was on-time, courteous and professional. He spent several hours checking both A/C systems. This included a brief "class" on the capabilities of our programmable thermostat. I purchased my large A/C system from Ellington 2 years ago and have been very happy with the system and the company. All my future A/C business will go to Ellington.

The tech arrived a couple of hours later than I was told he would arrive. While diagnosing the problem he put down the Goodman system and called it junk. Unit is under 5 years old and still under warranty. Gave a proposal of $1599 to determine what the problem was, did not include repairs but just diagnose and freon. $900 for freon alone. Called another company and they fixed for $725 including freon and new compressor

Very happy with their services and professionalism. Signed up for their maintenance program. Will definitely use them in the future and refer them out to friends and neighbors.
