I purchased the "preferred member maintenance package"deal through Angie's List, but was told by the tech that Angies list was misleading and the preferred member maintenance package was an additional $144. They did inspect my HVAC unit. When I contacted them to discuss why the Angies List deal was not being honored, they sent an email and said it was too complicated to explain in an email. Each time I have tried to contact them on the phone, the person I needed to talk with was not in the office.

I read every one of these reviews and ensure that we follow through properly. I did see the grading and was a bit confused by some of it but at any rate we are honoring your Preferred Membership. I spoke to Josh our service manager about this and I know that both of you played phone tag. Believe it or not I am still trying to get Angie's List to modify the wording so it isn't confusing to anyone. Unfortunately Angie's List switches our account manager so often it is hard to keep track of who it is. I will send them another e mail today. I could see where someone could be confused by it. Just so you are aware, we will 100% honor it. The inspection / maintenance is just one benefit of being a Preferred Member. We will honor you being a Preferred Member for the next 365 days. Some people like to just purchase the Preferred Member online as a renewal and this is why it is there , but in any event it needs to be changed so we don't have anyone confused by it. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. It actually gave you a discount by you selecting the Preferred Member enrollment, otherwise it would have been $169.50, so in the end it saved you about $25. That is what the tech was trying to explain. The Preferred Customer program is a pre paid program, another words the customer typically pays a year in advance of the maintenance and then renews upon their maintenance trip. With the advent of technology we are always attempting to make life easier on customers by allowing them to purchase things online, contact us via email, etc. Sometimes we miss the mark of ensuring all of the wording is 100% crystal clear to everyone and for this I apologize. Online purchases are new to us as we are used to serving you in person, we are working at perfecting it.
