Be aware of price gouging. We received two quotes from Ellington AC & heat for Duck installation repair. The first quote we received was on 4-Sep-15 for $ 267.00. And the second was received on 6-Apr-16 for $ 1,350.00. From Sep-15 to Apr-16 was a price increase of $ 1,080 for Duct installation repairs. We contacted Ellington service department hoping to get clarification on price differences. We spoke with Rachel from service department who seems to have been having a bad day. I explained to her our reason for calling and needed clarification on quotes. She said they didn?t have a copy of first quote on file. So I emailed her a copy for review and action. After reviewing it she said the quote had exceeded their 30 day quote policy. We are a little confused with the large variance in the two quotes. We do not understand why there is such a great delta between the original quote and the one just received.
