Thank you for sharing your experience with us as well as others. I would like to apologize to you for not meeting your expectations. After talking with you over the phone I researched all of the documents presented to you and recommendations made, cross referenced against your complaints. We did disclose your ductwork is inadequate in which you elected to keep it intact. The next item was the lack of dehumidification in the winter months. An air conditioning unit can not dehumidify if it isn't set to run in the cooling mode, that is just a fact we have no control over. As we explained previously, air conditioning units only dehumidify if they run. Furthermore, we can not change the color of the communicating led build into the circuit board from yellow to green, the manufacturer makes the led yellow as there needs to be a different color led in order to differentiate between the various boards and flash codes. I did pass on the feedback to Trane to request they start building units with the ability to change the led color, currently no manufacturer has the feature. Again I do apologize for any miscommunication on our part that may have taken place and we will work on adding in our process to explain to customers ahead of time that the unit has green, yellow, red, and blue led light inside the unit that flash. After three different estimates averaging nearly $6000 for a new system, he told me it should be under warranty. He called and sure enough it is going to cost $50 to ship a new compressor, and $600 for total labor. The service contract is going to be 1/2 as much as my current a/c service. It was amazing to find such a professional, honest, company. Definitely an A+

I honestly can't say why but installing the switch was indeed labor intensive and the cost for coming out was $80.00 and the total price was that same $80.00. My dad is not an easy person to please yet he was happy with the service. The work was completed in under two hours (if that long). If there was any clean up needed, Ellington took care of it.
Description of Work: Our air conditioning system stopped working for no apparent reason. Ellington came by the same day called. I was not here, my dad was when work was performed. A switch was installed in the wall. I honestly can't say why but installing the switch was indeed labor intensive and the cost for coming out was $80.00 and the total price was that same $80.00. My dad is not an easy person to please yet he was happy with the service. The work was completed in under two hours (if that long). If there was any clean up needed, Ellington took care of it.

They arrived ready to go with all the supplies needed. They brought drop cloths to protect the floors and my washer and dryer in my laundry room. They were very organized, neat and clean while they worked. They left the whole work area clean. They hauled the old units away on a trailer. Overall, we were very pleased with all the work. We would definitely recommend Ellington A/C & Heat to anyone needing service.
Description of Work: Replacement of old a/c. Inside and outside units were replaced. Used all new parts, new lines were run and installed a new electrical disconnect for outside unit. Upgraded return with new filter and grill. Replaced thermostat with new touch screen model. Sealed all air vents throughout the house.

Mr. Ellington's company did a wonderful job. The new system works great. The quality of his workmanship goes over and above. He was punctual and professional. We have had an excellent experience with this company and I would deffinatly recommend them and will use them for any of our future needs.
