Description of Work: How are hot water tank died and I had a tankless hot water heater and an additional gas line installed through my attic. The plumbers answered all my questions and we're very professional. I think the price was a little high for what I had done in the cost of the equipment. My only complaint was a few bins in the attic were not put back after the gas line was run through the attic.

Description of Work: I purchased a new heat/air system from Dial in June, 2011. Estimate was met, not exceeded, and the work was performed to our satisfaction. In May, 2012 the a/c shut off. We called the after-hours number and the tech called back and said he was just getting ready to go out to dinner. I explained that my system was off and was under warranty and I needed it fixed. When he got here, he came in and out of the house, did not introduce himself, and didn't say a word to us until he was finished. He said the line had blocked up and he blew it out. While dissatisfied with his attitude, I brushed it off since my a/c was working again. About 2 weeks ago, the a/c cut off again. I called and left a message at 8:30 pm and again at 10pm, and never received a call. About 2 hours later, the a/c came back on. I had a nice follow-up call the next morning and explained the need had passed. The a/c shut off a couple more times and we just let it settle for an hour or 2 and it would work again. Then yesterday, we noticed some water spots in different rooms. We are in the process of moving, and I have multiple sclerosis, so we didn't stop to analyze the problem until about 9:00 p.m. We discovered the a/c was leaking inside the wall and had to shut it off immediately. I called Dial at 9:30, and again at 11pm and never received a call back. This morning when the nice lady in the office called me I explained the problem and she explained that since it wasn't under warranty there may be a charge. She mentioned that the same person was on call both nights when I didn't receive a call back. I suspect it was the same rude young man from before and I suggested that they had a problem employee on their hands. The tech the sent out today was very helpful and explained that 1 cup of bleach needed to be added to tube once a month to keep the line cleared. I WAS NEVER TOLD THIS BEFORE. I believe that this is a way to get extra business after the warranty expires. Except for this lack of disclosure and the problem young man, my dealings with Dial have been good. If I wasn't moving from the area I would use them again, but would request not to have that young man come back to my house.

Description of Work: At the beginning of a/c season, our unit quit completely. Since I have multiple sclerosis and am heat-intolerant, this could not last! I had been out of town, and as soon as I got home I called for estimates. Dial Plumbing came in with the best estimate on a Thursday, and the heat/ac unit was installed and cooling by Saturday afternoon! Their price was the best (which was a major factor for me) and the employees were prompt and courteous. I was told that I would have to have a new door installed to the a/c closet because the new unit was slightly larger and otherwise I wouldn't be able to clean the filter. However, the estimater suggested replacing the intake vent with another type that would hold the filter and open to the side. Although it was extra, the price was reasonable and less than it would have cost to replace the door, and now my doors still match. The crew was in and out quickly and neatly. Don't really have any negative comments.
