I called the company for an estimate to run a gas line from my existing meter to the opposite side of the house to feed my new gas spa heater. The rep arrived on-time and quickly sized up the job and gave the estimate. It seemed a little high but I've learned it was in the ballpark for a job like this one. The installers arrived on the install day and ran the line through the attic with flex-pipe as approved by code and is used in new construction. They connected it to the heater but could not check the operation because I had not yet finished connecting the power to the heater. Very good work.
Description of Work: Installed a gas line to my spa heater.

Great price and professional installation. They had replaced friends A/C a couple of years ago and he recommended them to me and I was not disappointed. I would highly recommend for both price and professionalism.

What a professional company to work with. Not the cheapest in town but always always reliable. I have used them for AC work and Plumbing for years and I have never been disappointed. One time there was an issue with clean up but it was resolved immediately. I recommend them every time.

Mike owns this business and was always punctual with us. We first met him when we went to Lowes to get a quote on replacing an earlier air conditioner, in addition to get a quote directly from Merritt Island Air. Turns out the markup Lowes adds made him noncompetitive so we went with Merritt Island air for the first air conditioner. However, we kept him in mind for bids for the second air condition which we replaced the next year. For the second air condition replacement we had a bid from Merritt Island air, Ellington Air, and Dial. Dial was the most competitive for what we wanted. This was for the Trane XL20i, their top model. Even so, Ellington tried to up upsell even this to us. Mike came across a very honest. I did ask him about reviews I saw on Angie's list and openly acknowledged having an issue in the past with a plumber. However, it is clear he is firmly in the middle of his air conditioner business. He also helped us even before we went with him. I had been having issues with the first air conditioner install from Merritt Island air maintaining humidity. Merritt Island had come out and said everything was in specs and basically did nothing. When I told Mike about this, he volunteered to look a it. Turns out he knows Trane! Rather than rely on Trane's automatic systems, which apparently has loose limits, he checked the system the old fashioned way and found the system was low on Freon. Problem solved! With regards to the install, he and his crew were very punctual and professional. I had him come back for one check and he was responsive and punctual. Bottom line is would not hesitate to use him again. From my experience he was the best choice of everyone I had dealings with for air conditioning, including Merritt Island Air because he fixed a problem they couldn't.

We noticed air conditioner was not performing up to par. Called to get a service check, they installed unit 3 yrs ago, guy came that day. Checked everything out and said we had a freon leak under house. He said it was a common problem in the area due to high water and mineral content. He quoted me a price to replace pipe thru attic to prevent this in the future. I called my step father who is in the AC business a long time he said everything he said was legit and he quoted me a price within $50 of their price. Once I called office to set it up it was completed as scheduled 4hrs only 2 days later.

Terrific job, would definitely use Dial P again. Installation was really smooth and professional. I bought my own Rinnai tankless heater... Better deals online with coupons and such. Found Dial P on the Rinnai website as a certified Rinnai dealer and installer. They did the install on the outside of my 60s era concrete block home and removed my old....really old Kenmore...tank water heater. Modified some of the gas line in the laundry room where the old water heater was and reconnected the tiny water line that feed my fridge/ice maker. The used high quality heavy gage copper for the water lines that tied in seamlessly to my 50 year old plumbing system. Very heavy gage gas line. None of that "flexi" pipe stuff. Real classic tried and true plumbing job. I am a VERY happy customer.

I called asking for a service and to have my ducts re-connected. The service was performed. The duct connection was not done. The service guy went up in the attic and looked at one duct, came down and told me all was fine. Told me I should call FPL to get a leak check done. I decided I would try that. Told me he would only charge me for the service call. Well, that is good since he was too lazy to re-connect my duct. The next day the office called me to ask if he could come back as he forgot to check my compressor. Since I work, I informed them he could if the compressor was outside. It was and it was checked. A month later, I had FPL out to perform the leak check. What was one of the first findings??? A duct was not connected! Now, Dial P put in the units when the house was built. Every vent was not connected to the ceiling correctly and leaked and two ducts had come undone. I will not use them again, nor would I suggest them to other's. I have also used their plumbing side. They put the water heater in originally and didn't do a very good job their either. Don't use them!

Great. No complaints at all.
Description of Work: I have used this company several times and for different things. They are great. This job was a leak that needed attention and it was on a Sunday. I paid a little more for the Sunday call. Everyone who has come to my home has been great. I have refered several friends and family to them and would not consider using anyone else. Dial Plumb and A/C has put a new A/C in my home and done plumbing work as well.

Great service. I called to check on how far out they were scheduling, office said next day. I waited till sink was delived, plumber showed up early and was done in about 3 hrs, there was a lot of pipe work under sink, we switched from a 2 drain to a single one. Cleaned up after himself before he left.
Description of Work: I have used Dial for all of our A/C service and A/C replacement in the past. Always have fast efficient service, very professional. Any time I had questions or concerns they were available to answer. In the past they replaced my water heater, again very quick and professional. This time I had a new kitchen sink and disposal installed, he was a younger guy but he was polite and did a good job. When he was done he gave me his card and said if I had any questions or problems to call him and he would come back. Sink is perfect!

Terrible experience overall-I just wish that we had gotten other opinions a long time ago!!!!
Description of Work: Dial Plumbing installed the HVAC units in our new home. We moved in 4-15-2007. Since that time we have incurred over 2000.00 in repairs to our Hvac. We are now faced with repairs of 2000.00 or replacement for 3000.00 of our air handler-PLUS extensive Mold removal in the attic space. We have repeatedly asked Dial Plumbing to take care of this issue-they deny any culpability. One of owners (Steve) came out to look again and told us "get someone else to fix it"!!!!!! We have since had 2 other HVAC companies analyze the "issue" and both concur that the problems stem from faulty& inadequate installation. Both of these companies are highly rated on Angie's List. We contacted our builder to let him know about our experiences with Dial. He informed us the he quit doing business with them " a couple of years ago" because of multiple issues..... Needless to say, Dial Plumbing will NEVER set foot in our home again!!!!!

Great as usual. These guys really know their business of A/C and plumbing. This is the 4th time they have worked on something in my house and I would like them to be the only guys that ever touch my house. I also tell them this when asking for more estimates. It is too bad they don't do more types of service.-In 2007 their service tech came over and fixed a brand new overcharged compressor that was making so much noise the neighbors complained of the noise when it started up. The previous owner installed before we bought the house.($129) -----2 other companies could not fix the problem.-2009 installed a tankless water heater in place of our rented water heater.($600) The sweats on the pipes were a work of art and they were the only company that knew I did not need $1000 worth of 3/4and quot; gas pipe to my tankless water heater because our pressure in Brevard is 17psi. Sun plumbing and 1 other company said I would need the big pipe instead of 1/2and quot; that was in place. -2011 sealed our air ducts and found all of them were in poor condition. Not as cheap a price as Able air but they got everyone of the ducts done.($425) 4 guys in the attic for about 2 hours.-2012 This year they put in our Trane 21i and Bill (service tech) did everything like a picture. The youngster with him was a slight disappointment but hopefully will commit to the Dial plumbing work ethic and come around. No other company will every touch my a/c or plumbing I hope.

Hot Water heater broke and started leaking in middle of night. Called when they opened, got a quote. They came out the same morning and replaced the hot water heater. The young man was very polite and thorough even wiping connections with rag to look for any leaks. Price above includes FPL rebate. They took care of the rebate for me. All I had to do was pay the reminder. So my out of pocket was actually $550.

They stated that they accepted credit cards when the appointment was made. Once the work was finished, the Amex number was given to the office on the phone, but the woman also asked for a check "in case the credit card did not go thru". Thought this very odd, since it takes milliseconds for them to run the card. I refused to give them a check, and heard the plumber say something to the order of "I don't think that she will do that". By then the credit card had apparently cleared, and the invoice was marked as paid. Very odd, and think that they did not want to pay the CC fees. Fine, but don't agree to accept the CC when the appt was made and then not want to do it.Anyway, water heater is fine, and no problems with the plumber who did the work.

Great job like always. The pipe sweating was like a work of art. 2 leads worked on that tankless water heater. I do not want anyone else touching my house for a/c or plumbing because these guys really know their stuff. Tell them what you want or what the problem is and they fix right.
Description of Work: Dial plumbing and A/C performed a service check on the new Goodman compressor installed by Larry's A/C for Mitsy when we bought our house. The Compressor was making loud metal banging noises when running and especially on startup. Larry said it needed isolators and put them back in under the unit. Dial easily diagnosed the problem as overfill since the unit came from the factory precharged. He had to bleed off the unit and discharged about 3lbs of freon which meant the thing had 2x as much as it should have and was almost in compressor lock up! Service experts did a service call a year later and bent my plunum so bad it leaked afterwards. Dial plumbing also installed a tankless water heater and exhuast stack. They were the only ones that did not want to run 3/4 pipe to the tankless water heater for a bunch of money because they were the only ones that knew we have 17 psi gas in Brevard County. Sun Plumbing did not know that, and neither did one other company (forgot name). They all wanted to run 3/4 pipe from the meter and did not even mention that I needed a regulator to make the tankless water heater work right. Hired them to seal my a/c ducts because FPL tested them and found all were leaking. Electric bill went down a bit that month and we can use all the help we can get. Went back up in the attic to look around and they sealed 17 out of 17 ducts. --- 4 guys total for 2 hours work.

I got several estimates however the man who came out with Dial was by far the most professional and down to earth. He also was the only one who walked the property, measured, and considered the windows and sun exposure of my home before he told me what size of A/C I needed. The men who came out to do the install were on time and very professional. They did a good job and left everything very clean. They also asked me over and over if I was happy with the work they were doing. I could not be more pleased and plan to use this company again when I need a new water heater.

This report is backwards, but here is the job description: The plumbers are supposed to hook my well water up to the new generator, so that when the power goes out and the generator kicks on I'll have power and and quot;waterand quot; availlable to me within 15 seconds.
Description of Work: The " plumbers" were supposed to be here this morning at 8:00 or 8:30 am. At 9:00am I called to see where they were. The office manager said that 2 other jobs came up, so they went to those and should make it to my house between 10 and 11am. Well, they didn't show up and again they never called! I am sick and would have stayed in bed if I weren't expecting the guy to show up this morning! Well, it's now 11:25 am and I called Dial Plumbing back. The office person put me onto another person who said, "They're on their way right now, okay?" Then she hung up. I don't have any idea where they're coming from, so I don't know how long it will be until they get here. I'm not even confident that they really are on their way, since I got the "bum's rush" on the phone just now! I'll keep this report open until the guy(s) finally get here. I can't give a grade for "quality", because they are hooking my water up to a permanent generator and I won't know how that works out until I have a major power outage (like a hurricane or tropical storm). Their prices for this type of service run between $200 and $500; that's what they quoted me on the phone when I first contacted them. It depends on how many feet the generator is from the meter that they have to hook up to. In my case it's about 2 feet. I can't wait to see the grand total! (Actually I can't wait to see the plumber!!!) Okay, it's after " noon" now and no sign of Dial Plumbing!!!! They must be coming from Vermont! I'm afraid to call again, as I'm sure they'll just hang up on me this time! The conversations with them seem to get shorter and shorter each time I call. OMG!!! They just showed up! The two young guys look freshly showered, not at all like what I would have expected to see, since they had two other "sudden" jobs they had to do before my "scheduled" job!! Something's rotten in Denmark, if you know what I mean!! I thought they were supposed to be working for "me"!! What are they, the government? Who do they think pays them? If I had to vote for a plumber in the up-coming elections I don't think they'd even be on the ballot. I came very close to firing them this morning after the 2nd, ETA no-show!! Okay, I just went to check on the progress and the price for the job, since by now they know how many feet it is to the meter; well, surprise, surprise....when they're finished they have to figure out time and materials!! Shouldn't that have been told to me in the consultation?? (I'm just saying...) no mention now of "how many feet it is to the meter"!! Any more surprises and I'll be in my "sick bed" indefinately! I had to cancel my 1:00 sick- call at the VA and of course they're closed for the weekend! I wonder if the "coroner" works this weekend? (Again, I'm just saying...). Do these companies realize that "our" time is money too? In my case, time is "health"!!! After this I'm even thinking a seeing a shrink! Things can't get much crazier, or can they? ( I still don't have the bill yet.) Okay, I just got the bill! My grand total is $231.00. Not too bad! Of course this young guy had to have my driver's license number to accept a check from me!! l wonder who the most trust-worthy party is in this business deal, you know? Really, "my" driver's license number???? I guess that's one policy Dial Plumbing upholds. I'd like to see them uphold some old fashioned "customer service" policies!! Well, from now on I'll know who "not" to call for plumbing service! Good thing I didn't have a flood situation! I'd be snorkeling now, and "not" in Cancun!! Cindi

The work was done professionally and done in a timely manner. However, the $280.00 final non itemized charge was very excessive for a service call ($75.00) and simple job of replacing a standard thermostat (Approx. value $40.00)
Description of Work: Maintainance on A/C unit and replace thermostat. Called Dial Plumbing and explained that Trane unit was due for routine maintainance and the thermostat needed replacing. I was told the charge for maintaince was $75.00 and to diagnose a problem was $60.00, but they would forgo the $60.00 diagnostic charge if the thermostat was indeed the problem and replaced at the time of the service call.

The Florida Gas Co listed Dial Plumbing on their Website to come out to the home and assess if gas service is possible. Dial Plumbing sent someone to do a pressure check. He was on time and went right to work, told me the pressure test was ok and that the connection sites were all opened and he had capped them and that there was no connection for the dryer. Very efficient and I had no complaint. I asked what it would cost to do a dryer connection and he said he would have someone call me to set up appointment. No one called. I called twice, no response. I went elsewhere and would not recommend the company, though the worker who came out was fine.

Poorly. When the plumber installed the kitchen shutoff valves, he scorched the cabinetry with his propane torch and failed to notify us, howeve we discovered the damage after his departure and the remnants of scorched varnish in our kitchen trash can. We immediately reported the problem to the company owner but it took many days to get a response. They sent an inspector to examine the damage, who agreed the damage was a burn to the cabinet. It took multiple followup telephone calls to the company owner to get agreement that they would cover the cost to repair.

The two workers arrived right on time and went straight to work. The gas company had run the meter to the outside of our house and we hired Dial to run the pipes inside to the stove and hot water heater. Everything went as planned. At first the worker said that the estimate did not include installing the stove, but I explained that I was told it did and how would I know if the gas was working if the stove wasn't hooked up. He immediately said "no problem" and said he would do it. They moved my old stove outside for me and cleaned up their mess.
