Classic Wood Flooring

I requested this flooring company because of knowing the good character and work ethic of staff. As work on the project went forward it became clear to me that Classic Wood Flooring's owner, Don Herndon is a man of honesty & integrity. What he says, he'll do! The guys working on the flooring from start to finish were Shane and Xavier. Can't say enough great things about them. Totally quality work on flooring removal and new install. Shane's skilled carpentry trim work on baseboards was even commended by insurance contractor's carpenter working on cabinetry! What was put back into my house looks WAY better than what was there before. Between Shane and company owner, Don Herndon, communication remained clear with me as we worked with Insurance contractor to coordinate work schedule. Workers were always here when they said they would be and finished when they said they would. Great job guys!

Although this service was completed 9+ years ago. They did a wonderful job! And the floor still looks beautiful (except for the water spot because we left the window open during a rain storm and some water settled on the floor - but that was our fault). I should probably call them to see if they can repair this. Anyways, they removed the carpet and installed the hardwood floor and were very professional. Before the install, we went to their store to look at our options and they had a wonderful selections to choose from. They were patient with us and helped us make the perfect choice. I would highly recommend them for your flooring needs.

Perfect job of laying wood floor. Good job too with bedroom baseboard. I wanted baseboard removed in closet to accommodate closet fittings. After floor was laid and left undisturbed overnight I found closet baseboard was left in place. We later had to hack out a stretch of it to fit out the closet. Intention was to have only the 1/2 inch round trim installed. Make clear to the installer exactly what is desired after they arrive to do the work and before they start even if you think you have advised what is needed at time of ordering. We also had to follow-up on the floor cleaner and 'mop' which they forgot to leave us; however this was promptly delivered so we were quite happy. Floor's appearance exceeded our expectations.

Started with the store being open on the weekend and with convenient hours. When we entered the store we were greeted by Rae Wood who was helpful, knowledgable and allowed us to consider several options without pressure. He ensured the entire process went smoothly and communicated with us regularly. The installation crew was friendly and professional. The floor was put down expertly and best of all, there were no nicks on the existing woodwork and little to no clean up at the end.

The service is outstanding. The workmanship is pure craftsmanship. The level of professionalism and going out of their way to service us was outstanding.

They removed tile and put in wood flooring on my first floor. The final product looks very good but it was a constant battle throughout the process. Installers were not reliable with timing, furnishings were damaged and it took months for them to make things right. Floors were left with much glue and dirt and had to call repeatedly to finish. Final product looks great but the process was aggravating throughout.

Company rep, Rae, came out within 24 hours of our initial call to provide assessment and determine estimate; received an e-mail copy of estimate the next day. Installers arrived promptly, exceptionally courteous and professional. They moved all necessary furniture and prior to returning it the the finished room, applied felt pads to all the furniture.

Rae, our Classic Wood Flooring sales rep. was extremely personable, knew exactly what he was talking about, and was not in the least pushy. He was a real pleasure to do business with. James and Jimmy, our installers were very pleasant to work with. They arrived on time when they said they would and did a very nice professional installation. We are very pleased with our new floors. We had one call back to re-cut a small piece of the master closet baseboard to correct a mitre joint. It was a very minor issue. They were quick to respond to this request and we're entirely satisfied with the result.

On time. Professional crew, supurb work install and beautiful results. Highly recommend to all who require superior products with superior results.

It was very good. We were very pleased. We went in there and we had a woman here who was working with us. Brought in some of our furniture finishes and kind of gave her an idea of what we were looking for. She steered us away from one product and towards another because we have dogs, so that was very helpful. A lot of attention from the people who worked there as far as she can for the house, she looked at the home, she gave us ideas, brought out some samples. We just found that we got a lot of good input from that. We were really pleased. The installers were very professional and they cleaned up after themselves. I can't say anything bad about them. It was a great experience.

We were shopping for hardwood flooring and took our blue print with us. The salesperson was nice but unfamiliar with his stock. He worked from the blue print to write the estimate and it was so much higher than any other estimates we received that the blue print must have been read incorrectly or the installation cost was twice as much as other dealers charge. The estimate was not broken down just the total charge for the job. All the other companies estimated all aspects of the job including everything from the quarter round to the wood cost and installation charge and removing tile. We decided on going with another company. It pays to shop around. By the way, the estimate date is an approximate date since we did not keep the email giving us the estimate.

Punctuality was excellent for the appointment time. Estimate was done quickly and efficiently. The provider was very friendly. We had to call back to get the estimate cost instead of the provider calling us within two days.

The salesman was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. He wasn’t pushy at all. He was awesome.

He is kind, professional, not pushy and courteous and will help direct you according to your style, taste, preference and budget. He will reply via email or phone with any questions or concerns you may have. We've befriended someone who recently moved into their new home and Classic Wood Floor tiled the entire house as per her wishes. The work is excellent. We know with confidence that the tile and carpeting in our home will be installed beautifully.

They were very helpful in selecting the flooring and came out the same day to measure the area for the hardwood floors. The installers were on time and were very efficient and affective. They did a beautiful job.

The work was started and completed on schedule. The installers were craftsmen -- professional and easy to have around for three days. The floors are beautiful. The floors are so beautiful, in fact, that I've decided to extend the wood into the TV room. The installers will be here tomorrow.

Fantastic! The installer was amazing. He did a beautiful job and was done faster than we ever imagined. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will use them again.

The job went very smoothly. It took 3 days just as promised. The 2 man crew, Jason and Josh, was very careful, cordial and professional They seemed unperturbed by having to move a lot of heavy furniture and put up with pet dogs roaming about. At end of day they cleaned up and stored away material so that it was not in our way. They did a magnificent job.
