Water heater started tripping breaker (so who do you call - plumber or electrician?) When I took a look at the old unit I found manufacturing date of 2006 and knew it had pretty much run it's life span. Contacted CDS as I had used them for other projects in the house and scheduled replacement. Showed up early (after calling first to ask if it was OK to do so) in uniform and a marked company truck. Looked over old unit, decided how to proceed, and got to work. Replaced old PVC supply lines with copper, installed and set pressure tank to recommended pressure, showed me how to check and add air to pressure tank if needed. Took away old unit and left work area cleaner than when he started. I appreciate true professional tradesmen and being relatively new to the area am glad to have found this company. They will be my go-to choice for any future plumbing needs.

The plumber arrived the same day of my call, at the appointed time, replaced the wax rings under the toilet and left within 30-40 minutes. He was experienced, knowledgeable, and fast.

My dad's upstairs tub drain and pipe were leaking and he'd called 3 other plumbers to work on the problem. None of them managed to succeed. We visited him this month and used Angie's list to find Fred at CDS Plumbing and he was an expert. He knew exactly what the issue was and was able to clear the clog that the 3 other plumbers failed to clear. He also took care of the leak, suggested a replacement down the road (house in built in 1921) and fixed the dripping faucet -- all in under 2 hours!! My father was extremely impressed and will hire them again (actually very soon).

Fred was at the house even before we were. After hearing the details, he said he doubted that the line was broken, or there would be other problems. He patiently walked us through the possible scenarios, then went up on the roof to run his power snake down through a vent pipe. He eventually ran enough snake line to feel sure that he had cleared the line. We filled and drained the washing machine twice, with no back up in the kitchen sink. The renter has not reported any further problems (one month and counting).

Fred was very professional and easy to talk to. I am a new homeowner and he was extremely helpful in answering my questions and offering his advice. Drainage was cleaned with no problem very quickly and scope went through with no issue. The toilet had to be completely removed before he could scope but he was able to do this quickly and cleanly. You would have no idea it had just been removed after he has left. I had hardware to replace a leaky valve stem myself but could not dissemble the valve, Fred was able to do it for me very quickly.

CDS plumber Fred came on time and did a very professional job which included having to go to a store and back for a unique part. A+ for attention to detail and leaving the job site clean.

Fred came out promptly and installed new sink for us. He removed the old sink for disposal as well. He also made sure he covered our kitchen with drop cloths to prevent dust from the shaving down of the counter that had to be done. When we rented in the past, our landlord used CDS. Now that we own, we have continued using CDS for any plumbing needs we have. We will continue to use them in the future. CDS is prompt, competent, efficient and reasonable.

Had to cut hole in wall to access, area kept clean very nice. Fixed problem and put everything back, very good.
