Replaced a bad float switch with cheap junk that got moisture in if failed so they charged me, because I was told it was a plugged drain line and it was NOT, $212.70 to dry out a float switch they installed less than 6 months before!!! Not to mention that the two AMANA units require 2 additional dehumidifiers to get the moisture below 55%

I called Saturday mid morning and actually was able to talk with the repair technician Randy about the issues my AC was having. I shared with him what I had tried and he gave me a rough idea of what the problem might be and an estimate of the cost for repair. He also gave me an idea of time he could be at my place Saturday afternoon between 2 and 3 o'clock. At 2:00, I received a phone call from Randy letting me know that he would be arriving in about 40 minutes. Once here, Randy worked quickly and efficiently and repaired my AC capacitor as he had predicted. Randy checked out all the other components to ensure the my AC was fixed properly. I was very pleased with Randy's thoroughness and ability to fix my AC on a weekend. Using the Savings Safari coupon help to lower the cost of repair by $30.00.

Eric came to explain the new system and suggested upgrade to a slightly larger unit to better service my sq. footage....He was very patient and thoroughly addressed any concerns and questions I had...On the install day, Anthony and Sam arrived on time....were very professional, respectful and polite....Anthony installed a new platform top to the inside and painted it beautifully...Sam installed the outside unit and ran new supply lines....they cleaned up after the job very well. GREAT JOB OVERALL!

First off, Eric, their salesman came out to give us a quote on a basic AC unit but I was looking for something a little better. Well, he remembered there was a top of the line unit at the warehouse that somebody ordered but changed their mind. He was able to give it to us at a price that other AC companies were going to charge for a middle of the road brand. Wowza! Wes, their installation guy, and company showed up at 9am Friday morning and were there all day. They knocked it, did a professional installation, and even came out after a few days to touch up a few things at my request. You don't find many companies these days willing to go the extra mile but these guys put the customer first back in customer service.

So far so good. They treated the house well. Did not make a mess. Even though, they had to replace the whole unit, they did pretty good.

Prompt. Fast install but they did a great job.

Excellent, John was very informative and a pleasure to work with. The Installers Ryan and Brandon were very professional and cleaned up after themselves and went above and beyond helping me link the digital programmable thermostat with my smart phone. We chose to have the Dynamic electrostatic filter system installed because of pets in the house and grand kids with allergies.

They're very good all the way. They are the ones who installed my unit. They are very knowledgeable. They do not only good work but they are very reasonable in pricing on the unit itself. The workers were clean and neat.

They serviced my previous unit. I went out for bids when I went to replace the unit, and their price was good. They say this unit is a Sear 18, and it's top of the line. It's been very good and reliable. Very economical.

Very pleased with the professional manner of the original technician that determined a new unit was going to be needed in the near future. Also was pleased with the two installers who arrived at 8:20 am and didn't leave until the installation was completed and tested which was after 2:30 pm.

Randy arrived when he said he would. He was very professional and explained everything that he was checking and doing to me. He found the issue which was a worn out part and fixed it in a half hour.

From the initial estimate thru to the completed installation, the team was professional and performed high quality work. The 5 ton Amana system installed is working great. The recommendation for duct rework helped the 5 degree temperature difference between the t-stat set point and the master bedroom. The bedroom temperature is now within 1 degree of the set point.

Could not have gone better. Previous company said that I needed to replace the entire system "ASAP". "it could last a month or a year. You also have a real bad mold problem in the inside unit". The technician (Randy) showed up on time, was very professional and thorough. I do need some repairs, but only cost a couple of hundred dollars instead of a couple of thousand for replacement. Also the "mold" was actually dust. He even gave me some pointers on maintenance that I could do myself. All of this for $69.00! I cannot recommend these guy highly enough.

As luck would have it, my A/C went down sometime over the weekend while we were not home. Returned Sunday evening (on day before the holiday!) to a house that was 91 degrees inside on the thermostat. Called Brevard Cooling and Heating at 10:15 and right away - Eric said "I'll put you down for the 6-8pm slot". Yes- that is how far backed up they were for emergency service. Apparently there were lots of other people's A/C who also took a nose-dive on the holiday. Anyway- -- Eric (who is freaking amazing BTW) called at 3:30 and said, "I am ahead of schedule and headed to you now". He was fantastic. He said over the phone what he suspected the problem was straight-away. He tool apart the outside panel on the compressor and had diagnosed the issue correctly. He did not have the exact replacement part he needed but was expertly able to combine the use of 2 capaciters (sp?) to effect the same as my old one. He also needed to add a booster as my compressor is old and needed the extra juice to get the motor going. Eric was beyond thorough. He took the time to patiently explain to me every step he took and what it was doing and why. Then he double-checked the handler unit in the garage to make sure everything looked good there as well. When it was all said and done, even with the weekend/emergency fee ; he only charged me $385 for a 4th of July 95 degree day- - - that allowed me to sleep in my own bed versus another hotel night. We have worked with John for the past four years. He has performed work at our home and at our rental property. He is always quick to respond to our calls, explains the problem and then makes recommendations. John is hardworking and pleasant to work with. They will continue to service our heating and conditioning concerns at our home and our rental property.

Here I am Sunday evening and the AC is blowing nothing but hot air. An hour of tinkering and no success is to he had. After calling around to a few places, I received a call back from Tom at 6:30pm. After explaining the situation to him, he had me check few things on the indoor air handlers. Turns out when messing with one of the items, the AC suddenly sprung back to life and started blasting cool air. Tom did this for free to try and help me out since he was so busy things evening and would not be able to get to me until the morning. While Brevard Heating and Cooling may not have made any money on this service call, they have just gained a new customer. They will now be my first call any time I have an issue, and I will arrange to have them take care of my regular maintenance. It is so rare that people let alone companies try and help other people these days rather than look for a way to make a quick buck, clearly this company is different and this is something I will not soon forget.

I'd hire them again. They do the maintenance for me every year. Every year they come out and put a new filter in and do a maintenance inspection. They are nice.

From the time we called Brevard Cooling and Heating to the complete install my wife and I have been very impressed with the companies excellent service. The Technician John was very helpful in assessing our situation and ensured the final product was installed and followed thru correctly. Upon installation day, we meet Eric and Pete (the professional installers) whom just made us feel very comfortable with the install. They kept us abreast of every aspect of our install and took personal care and asked for input on how we wanted a unquege filter installed in our unit. Even thou they were very busy with the install, Eric ensured his apprentice Ryan was able to fully comprehend his task for this painstakingly difficult install. I would without a doubt recommend this company for any professional Cooling and Heating installations. Brevard Cooling and Heating company was very knowledgable, helpful, courteous and caring during our ENTIRE process from start to finish. To include several follow-up calls to ask how the Lennox unit is fulfilling our air conditioning and heating requirements? They were very timely. They were very professional and honest. They were reasonable.

They arrived on time and went right to work. They did a great job and cleaned up after them selves. Two very professional guys who I will gladly use again if I should need heating or AC work. I highly recommend them.

It turned to be fine. It was the same month that they came out when I purchased the big deal. I don?t remember if there were additional charges apart from the big deal, it was my husband who took care of that. They were hear when they said they will be here. We will not probably use them again because Sears uses another contractor named Comfort Air.

Having a good contractor is the most important aspect of buying a new A/C unit. We chose 4 of the best contractors in our area from Angie's list.. At first we confined our search to Trane Units based on recommendations from the internet and our neighbors. But toward the en of our search we talked with the rep from Brevard H & C., and he acquainted us wth the very positive aspects of the Lennox 2 stage A/C system, which we eventually purchased. The job was done on schedule on one of the hottest days of the year. The contractor provided a portable AC unit which kept our kitchen/family room area to a tolerable temperature. The one day job went well and the installers were done by late afternoon One of the attractive points of the Lennox system is the promise that the noise of the system will be the same whether it is on or off..But our unit made a sound like wind tunnel from the start. The contractor returned and diagnosed the problem correctly as a constriction in the air return line which did not allow he volume of air needed for the new AC system. They discussed possible solutions with us.and we agreed that installing an additional air return duct would be an appropriate.solution.The contractor retuned and did tis additional work and rebalanced the system at no additionsl charge. In other words, he stood behind his promise of a quiet system! Overall the new a/c system is completely satisfactory after 6 months in operation.
