Very good. Dan's crew trimmed our laurel oak and a crape myrtle. The oak is tall and they used the bucket to get to it and thin it out for hurricane season. They also looked for and removed some mistletoe. We've used these guys for four or five years now and have been happy with the service and professionalism.

This is one of the best experiences with a contractor that I have had in a long time. Dan was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and punctual. He took time to discuss the types of trees that I had since I am unfamiliar with the trees in Florida. He and his workers finished the job in a timely fashion and cleaned up afterwards leaving me with a much improved yard. I am so pleased with his work and will refer others so that they also can have a good experience.

Daniel did an excellent job cleaning up my queen palms and making sure there wasn't a mess in my afterwards. Wouldn't have even known he was there if my trees didn't look better.

The process was quick and painless. A reasonable estimate was provided quickly. Was on the schedule within a couple of days. Crew came out a promptly removed trees, ground stumps, and hauled away debris. Yard was cleaned and clear of debris. Outstanding job.

Mitchell came out and assessed the trees in our front yard. We were concerned about the two large oak trees. The larger of the two was found to have a fungus that rots the root ball and tree from within. The other had extensive dead areas from mistletoe and the tree was slanted about 40 degrees. He recommended both trees be removed. Their team came the following Monday morning with heavy equipment to remove the trees safely. After removal, the stumps were ground and they spread the wood chips into our flower beds. They raked the yard and blew off the walkway and driveway. Their grapple truck removed all the debris. We interviewed and received estimates from three highly rate arborists. We found Big Wood Tree Service to be the most knowledgeable, professional and had the best price. We would definitely use them again.

Dan was prompt on getting to me with an estimate and found his offer very reasonable . Initially only wanted one tree removed but he offered to trim up two others at same visit for very good price. Him and his crew arrived on time and with the best equipment available to do the job. He was able to do the job the very next day . Despite unforeseen equipment issues the job was completed in a timely fashion and I'm very satisfied with the work done . Incurred no damages and they cleaned up after themselves very well . I would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services . I would not hesitate to call on them again .

Outstanding and professional service. I strongly recommend that you use this company,-at least bring them in for an estimate- their price and obvious professionalism will set them apart from all competitors (we had two other estimates and we are glad we asked this company for one). They are safe and they had the correct equipment that allowed for a risk free job (to include an arborist lift that could negotiate a tight access walkway to get to the tree). An added benefit is that they will answer any questions/provide advice about any trees on your property. I would not hesitate to use this company again and will recommend them in a heartbeat.

Dan's prices were great and his crew did a very good job with the tree work itself. I was disappointed to find after they left that they ran over and killed some of my bushes without telling me. But I called Dan to let him know and he offered to replace them, so that was good. Dan and his crew were professional the whole time. Dan did have to reschedule the estimate twice and the crew showed up much later than scheduled for the work. That was inconvenient, but the crew stayed quite late (past 6p.m.) to complete the work. All in all, I think it's a good company and I'd use them again.

The job was done as scheduled and clean up was better than I expected. I even had the stumps ground away within two days. Great crew!

Dan's crew did an amazing job. The crew was very professional and thorough and even in the Florida heat they always had a smile on their face. Their clean up after the job was done, far exceeded any expectations. We would hire them again in a heartbeat. I recommend them to anyone who needs tree services.

Mr. Dan Ferrando arrived thirty minutes late for the estimate and had a "Couldn't Care Any Less" attitude over being late. He set the time of his arrival between 4:00 - 4:30 pm when we spoke around 3:00 pm yesterday. He had my cell phone number and could have given me a text or a call to let me know that he wouldn't be at my house until 5:00 pm. If Dan had respected my time and reached out to me around 4:00 pm to let me know that he was running late then I would have been able to adjust my schedule and taken care of more of what I had to do before he arrived. I was in the front yard using the blower when Dan arrived. He was a passenger in a truck. The driver waited in the truck after they arrived. When Dan approached me he didn't greet me nor smiled, said Hello...nothing. I found it odd that He was dressed in business casual and not in yard maintenance attire. As a business owner I feel that his mannerisms and unprofessional attitude was unacceptable. I started the conversation with, "You are thirty minutes late. Why didn't you call me?" I paused to see if he would apologize or show any signs of remorse. He didn't. Instead he only said that he ran late at his last house. I pulled out my cell phone from my back pocket and stressed that he could have called to let me know. I told him that I would have been able to go to the store and be back in time had I known. He wasn't at all apologetic and showed no signs of care. He just made a small murmoring sound as he turned to go back to the truck that I could not make out. I told him Goodbye. What Mr. Dan Ferrando doesn't know is that my background is in sales, marketing and training for home improvement sales in addition to business and finance. I have over six years in direct sales in residential home improvement as a trainer and closer. Words of Wisdom: Be punctual and respect the homeowners time and schedule. This sets the expectation of the business they can expect to receive from your service. If you are going to be late then contact them! And 'care.' TAKE YOUR SUNGLASSES OFF at least during the initial greeting! It wasn't even sunny enough to wear sunglasses and yet you kept them on the entire time. People need to see your eyes and make eye contact to establish trust. Work on your Interpersonal skills.... These are STILL important even in this era of Internet relationship connectivity.

Great company to deal with. Within two days , he drove by the house to look at the two oak trees we wanted removed. Called within the hour and gave quote for removal and stump grinding. Showed up on the day scheduled for the tree removal. Stump grinding was delayed a day due to weather.

Dan was very courteous and professional. Because we wanted only one large tree cut back, I think it worked that we were flexible with times so that he and his crew could fit us in around larger/regular jobs that he had commitments to. The tree work was done as asked and everything was hauled away. I appreciated the follow up phone call that Dan made to make certain that the job was done to our liking.

I called Dan's Ground's Maintenance and Dan got back to me that evening. He said he would send out his manager the next day. Jeff, Dan's manager arrived on time walked the property with me and gave me a quote. Jeff said it would be Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday (it was a Friday) and that Dan would let me know over the weekend. Dan scheduled a Wed. between 12-1- The crew arrived at about 12:15 and promptly got to work. The job was done quickly and thoroughly. The crew (including Dan who does the actual trimming) cleaned up all the debris and hauled it away. It looks amazing and there is so much more light in the back yard. The palms in the front look stately again.
