Description of Work: One day (8 hours) of basic electrical work in a new home. Installed six ceiling fans, changed four single-switches to double-switches for ceiling fan/lights, and installed two outside lights. Polite, professional, and cleaned up after themselves as they moved from one project to another.

Description of Work: Hung a fan on a vaulted ceiling, installed dual switch (1 to operate the light fixture and one to operate the fan). The job deffinately took longer than I anticipated. They told me it would probably take longer than the 2 hours I paid Angie's List but that was all hey said. They should have given me a rough estimate of what the completed cost would be. I was completely shocked that it would cost over $498 more than what I paid Angie's List ($249 in advance) just to install 1 ceiling fan.

Description of Work: Diagnosed electrical surges. Tony called me a few hours after servicing rental property with the details. He also went as far as to call FPL for me, to attempt to get them to come out and fix the problem as it was a power problem from the grid and not internal to the house. Will definitely use Tony and AP Electric for future electrician needs.

Description of Work: They came on time with a large crew. They installed 220 volt to pool pump, added a 4 socket over my work bench in garage,installed outlet in hall in house, fixed door bell and put light in bell button on porch, fixed a switching box on patio to light pool, and fixed an exterior light, changed to brighter the under cabinets lights over counter. I think they exceeded the guaranteed time at my house.

I got a few estimates for some fans to be installed and also some recessed lights in the kitchen. To keep my cost down in kitchen, he recommended me leaving the original light up and placing the recessed lights on both sides of this light. They do awesome work and the friendly, efficient service is great.
Description of Work: We had just moved into this house. The original garage was enclosed as a bonus room or extra bedroom which is what we are using it for. The A/C control/thermostat was in this room and not in the common area which is our living room. I saw an add in the Thrifty Nickel for A/P Electric so I thought I would call them. The owner, Tony Prater was very friendly and seemed to know what I was talking about. He gave me an estimate over the phone and it sounded reasonable so I scheduled an appointment. He came out and in no time moved the thermostat from bedroom to my living room. He also checked out the A/C unit for me and said that it looked good and fairly new. I liked that, someone that is honest.
