+ -1 moreI’ve used John for the past 5 years. Several co-workers recommended him. My laundry is in an interior room so the dryer vent line extends pretty high before it can vent. Lint tends to build up. The first time he came the vent was so clogged with lint my clothes took a very long time to dry. Big improvement after he cleaned the vent. I have him come now about every two years. I always notice an improvement in dryer time afterwards. John is always courteous and dependable and his prices are reasonable. I’m a very satisfied repeat customer.

+ -1 moreWas a positive experience! They came within the hour! We have a metal roof with vent on roof. They used a special ladder so our gutters were protected. It took 30 minutes. John and his son, John, were clean, fast and nice! I didn't realize my vent could be blocked up on the roof. Then they used this instrument to snake up through the dryer vent in the laundry room. Sucked the lint out. Here is the best part: I have since done a load of laundry. My drying was was cut in half!

+ -1 moreI am so happy I called John! He is very responsive, professional and prompt. I had no idea how clogged my dryer vent was until I heard everything being cleaned out. Now I feel safer (reduced fire hazard) and can't wait for my clothes to dry in a fraction of the time. This will definitely be a routine service and company I use.

It put peace in my mind and gave me the hope that the problem could be solved. John had a good knowledge of the construction of my building and was very patient and helpful.

+ -1 moreMr. Capra came to the house a little earlier which was great. He explained the process of what is going to happen, moved the dryer and washer out of the way and he started to clean the vent using his tools and the vacuum cleaner. It took less than one our. He even waited for my wife to paint a small spot behind the washer and dryer. He also vacuumed everything behind and push the dryer and washer back in. Great service. Will use again for sure.
Description of Work: Moved dryer and washer using sliders to prevent scratches to the wooden floors. Inspected vent, cleaned vent, vacuumed vent, went on top of the roof and cleaned some more. Vacuumed behind dryer and washer, reattached everything, pushed them back in.

He arrived promptly at the time and worked efficiently to perform cleaning of the vent from both inside the house and on the roof. Left the laundry room very clean. Professional service. + -1 moreThis guy is great! I called him yesterday afternoon. He was booked through today; had to be out of town tomorrow (Sat.) but offered to come on Sunday morning. How cool is that? This morning he called to say he had a cancellation and asked if I would like him to come at 2:30. He and his son arrived with lots of equipment, a great deal of knowledge and a ton of friendly professionalism. They did a great job explaining everything, cleaning it all out and then reattached the dryer with a new ring. He said some air was escaping because of poor installation. The dryer is now humming along and feels cool again to the touch. I highly recommend John at ABC Dryer Vent Services!

+ -1 moreThey were very professional and used really good equipment. They made recommendations on work we had done from prior companies we had. We had a screen installed in the past on our roof that was said to keep rodents and pests out of the unit. The new gentleman pulled the screen down and you could see where it had caught a lot of lint over the years and this lint was falling directly back into the system. He cleaned everything with his vaccuum and also recommended that the unit behind my dryer be replaced with an aluminum unit so there would be no danger of fire. I highly recommend them.

John and his son arrived on time and within 35-40 minutes cleaned the dryer vent in the laundry room and the vent on top of the roof. He returned the washer and dryer back into their positions and made sure that I happy with the placement. Very professional! I would definitely use ABC Dry Vent Services again.

+ -1 moreMy clothes dryer was taking over 4 hours to dry a load, and not even one containing towels. I finally called ABC to come out. He was there the next day, cleaned out a bunch of lint, and my dry time went down to about 45 minutes. It's been awhile so I don't remember the exact cost - just guessed at $75 when I entered it above. I called today to make sure it was the same company because I needed to refer a friend!

+ -1 morePromptly showed up as scheduled and went right to work. Offered some good suggestions about rerouting vent for dryer. They were in and out in a flash but were professional in the work and cleanup. Although quoted and final price was the same, felt that for as little time they were at the house it could have been/should have been a little lower. Would work out to about $250/hr if they worked hourly. Maybe I need to get a ladder and a power vacuum!!! I will definitely take their suggestion to change vent location so I don't need to have this done again.

The serviceman arrived on time and did a professional job, even showing us what he'd taken out of the vents. His inspection on the roof disclosed that a prior contractor had done some damage he couldn't repair -- but made suggestions on getting it done. As I indicated above, we are very happy with ABC Dryer Vent Services. My wife plans to have them come back annual to reclean and reinspect.
Description of Work: They inspected our drier vents system from drier to the exhaust pipe on the roof, then cleaned it out using a powerful vacuum with a hepa filter.

Description of Work: John from ABC dryer vent services was very profesional and very thourgh explaning what he was going to do,He first went on the roof where the vent discharges and cleaned it was completely clogged up and stuck closed,he showed me a ball of lint was as big as a softball was taking my wife and hour and half to dry 6 towels, after the roof vent was cleaned he removed the dryer from its location ,hooked up a very powerfull comercial vacuume to the discharge pipe going to the roof and inserted a rotating brush all the way up the pipe to the roof level and drew it back down and removed all the lint inside,vacuumed up all the lint around the outside of the dryer,reinstalled the dryer over all was about 1 1/4 hrs,was very happy and now only takes 40 min to dry 6 towels,she is also very happy ,$$$ very well spent. highly recomend ABC dryer vent services.
