My issue: Showers and toilets backed up - have septic system. They called back right away and I got a same day appointment! Very good customer service from Michael. The technician, Jimmy, that came out to the house was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He took all the time needed to properly diagnose the causes and explain everything - he was very thorough. By the time he left, everything was working fine again. As far as charges; Cleaning out the septic tank - was quoted $300 and was charged $299 - I felt that was reasonable. Cleaning out the rooftop vent pipe(s) - I was quoted $499 and was charged $499 - I felt this was a little high especially because I thought it was too clean all 3 vent stacks (for my 3 bathrooms), however, only 1 was cleaned out because the other 2 are apparently only breathing pipes not large enough to be cleaned out. So I rate the "value" at 4 stars for this reason.

They call me on the same day I asked for a septic pump service through HomeAdvisor. That day I had already requested a service from another company, that came on that same day but since the tank "they found" was 4 feet deep, they wanted me to hire a machine to dig. Finally they didn't call me to schedule the machine digging so I gave a chance to Raider Rooter. I called them to schedule for the following day, but they called me within the hour to tell me they were on their way to my property. The guy was courteous and right to the point. I showed him the place where the other company told me the tank was, but he immediately told me that the tank wasn't there. In one minute he located the tank in other area, and even being 4 ft deep he started digging right away. He was not worried about digging, and when asked about putting a riser, he told me right away that wasn't necessary. He found the lid and pumped the tank. Fast and easy. The price they gave me per 1000 gallons was the price I ended up paying. It seems that residential tanks have that capacity. The probe they used to find the tank was a thin probe, that wouldn't leave a big hole in the grass. The other company used a wide probe leaving hole about 2 inches. Good company, excellent value for the money.

I have no complaint with the work done. When I received the estimate, I was told I would be billed $145/hour for 2-3 people to find and fix leak. Also, that the work would be done the following day (Saturday). After waiting hours on Saturday, it took multiple calls to confirm that I did have an appointment, but that no-one would show up on Saturday. I was assured that someone would be at my house "first thing" on Sunday, which meant (to them) 9 AM. At 3 PM, one person showed up. Instead of paying 2-3 people on Saturday, I paid the same $145/hour for one person a day later.
